Come on a journey with Esther and her family and friends ...

Award winning, Australian, contemporary Christian fiction. Ordinary people learning what it means to follow Jesus in tough times.

If you like compelling Christian fiction, relatable characters and real emotion, then you'll love Christine Dillon's inspiring series.

Book 1 - Grace in Strange Disguise

Instead of a wedding, Esther is facing radical surgery and chemotherapy. Where is God when she needs him most?

Esther is a people pleaser. It's never been a major problem because she's just gone with the flow. Her father has always preached, "Follow Jesus and you'll be blessed." And up until age twenty-eight, Esther has never had any reason to doubt it.

Will she appease her father? Or will she listen to the words of a stranger who challenges everything she believes?

Book 2 - Grace in the Shadows

Two women. One collision course with truth.
Physiotherapist Esther has survived cancer, but wounds within her family remain unhealed. Is her revived faith the reason for the rift or could a simmering secret be the root cause?

Cosmetics consultant Rachel buried her past - and her father's God - but the past refuses to stay buried. Will she continue to run or is confronting her pain the way to freedom?

Can God's grace shine even in the darkest of shadows?

Book 3 - Grace in Deep Waters

When is a marriage over? When do you stand and fight?
William Macdonald is at the pinnacle of his career. Pastor of a growing megachurch and host of a successful national radio programme. Clever and respected, he's a man with everything, including a secret. His wife has left him and he can't risk anyone finding out.

Blanche Macdonald is struggling. Her once rock-solid marriage is showing cracks. She promised to love her husband for better or for worse, but does loving always mean staying? Blanche desires to put God first. Not William. Not her daughter. Not herself.

I recently ran across this Grace Collection series by Christine Dillon by chance while trying to find another good Christian fiction book to read. There are 6 books in the series and I devoured them all within 2 days. I was blown away at not only the story itself, the style of writing, and the characters in the series, but most of all the method of storytelling to let others know about Jesus. I have struggled with the Great Commission that was are to always use daily opportunities to witness for Christ. This is a struggle to me that I have always put in the back of my mind because I don't think I would know what to say or how to win anyone to Christ. The power of prayer modeled within the pages of this entire series can help wipe all that doubt away. As a voracious reader who reads as many Christian fiction books as I can find, I can honestly say that this entire series impressed me and has motivated me to evangelize and pray about Everything as I go through my day. I could not not put these books down. It is too bad that I can't give this series 10 stars!! This series will change your confidence in sharing the Good News with those you encounter who do not have a personal relationship with our Savior. My next books to read will be by Christine Dillon!!

This series speak to such wide variety of audience through the characters. Esther, whose story you’ll journey through, is relatable in her struggles and wrestles and status. I have found this novel series to be a tricky bedtime read: helpful alternative to wind down for the day in contrast to a device, but absolutely engaging that I have ended up going to sleep past midnight as a result! 10/10 will recommend to people - have been already! Thanks for such detailed and imagination-capturing writing, Christine!

This is such an excellent series. The story begins with an easily lovable character, Esther, who has fallen into some incredibly difficult circumstances. She meets some memorable folks along the way to help her find her way "home". Through the series, you will continue to follow her family members and characters introduced early on. So for anyone who loves a "long" story that gives sufficient background and afterthoughts, this will satisfy. And you'll be challenged along the way!

Encouraging, positive, realistic look at hard times with an encouragement to find answers to difficulties in the stories about people who lived through their own difficulties in the light of who God is in the bible. Makes you think. Gripping story and does not have romatacism so that it is relatable. So good to have Australian content as it gets to the point.

I could hardly put these books down. I was taken into the lives of Esther, Blanche, Naomi and Rachel. Such a pleasure to read of God's faithfulness and to read about 'Story telling' as a means of sharing the gospel.

These are great stories...these stories inspire me about the way God works in the lives of people who are broken and hurt from life's circumstances and how He brings healing and gives them a new start.

Very readable series about real life situations in an Australian setting. Challenged me to face some of the hard-to-grapple with issues.
