Angie Robeson has left her home and friends to escape her abusive father and begin her new life under her new name Anne Robb. The day after she’s involved in an accident north of Freeport, Illinois, she and two other individuals are sighted near the accident site by Mary O’Reilly, a private investigator with the ability to see ghosts. The individuals with Anne are ghosts.
Not dead, but separated from her body, Anne joins Mary, and a murder victim named Morgan, to find his killers and bring him to justice. They quickly find much more than they bargained for as they uncover paranormal evidence of a pair of serial killers. They must find physical evidence of the crime, but will they be able to protect Mary from the killers and stop them from killing Anne’s body before she can reunite with it?
