I honestly thought this was going to be slow while reading the first chapter. Then it took off at a relentless pace and I couldn't put it down. Thanks for the firefighter insight and a great story Patterson. It's 11pm and I have a double tomorrow. I am looking forward to the next book.
This book was well written . At times I could almost picture the scenes as they were happening. While the book was on the short side it still made for a great story.
