You never know what you are going to get with a Mari Carr Wilder Irish book; will it be funny and enticing, will it be hopeful yet poignant, will it be raunchy and wild, or will it be like Wild Night and be easy yet sexy? Wild Night is an easy romance as the two main characters have known one another for 30 years, they have been frenemies for most of that time, but all it takes is one wild night (hence the title) for them to begin to realize they have something good together.

I’ve always appreciated the verbal sparring between Colm and Kelli in this series and as it turns out it was really a lot of foreplay. A blackout, a lot of alcohol and many, many orgasms leaves both Colm and Kelli satisfied and thinking they’ve found the one, not realizing its each other. Seriously the way their first encounter played out was pure genius on Ms. Carr’s part and their assumptions of who they spent that night with left them both a bit shaken.

What I loved is that there really wasn’t a lot of drama between these two once they figured out they’d slept together. They ended up spending time and really getting to know one another better than they already did leaving no doubt in Colm’s mind that the “Collins curse” had struck him, but Kelli has a plan and he doesn’t fit into it leaving him to figure out a way to get her to change it.

Filled with so much love, joy, friendship, and family, I adored Wild Night. Low on angst and lots of hot, raunchy sexy times this book was just what I needed at this point in time.

I fell in love with Colm and his snarky attitude towards the Collins Curse a few books ago. I am so, so happy to watch him succumb to the curse and with the one woman who he abhors. Well, the feeling was mutual for Ms. Kelli as well. Oil and water become peanut butter and jelly and it was hysterical watching this train wreck happen.

Colm and Kelli have known each other since they were kids. They did nothing but pick on each other. After a pity-party night of drinking, they actually started talking to each other … civilly instead of sniping … everyone’s curiosity was piqued. But, they just blew them off. Some true feelings were reveled that surprised Colm and alarmed him as well. But, Kelli had a mind of her own and her decision was made. It’s no big deal to him but it could be a big deal to his family who look at Kelli as a Collins.

We all know how wild a crazy a party in the Collins Dorm could be. Especially Halloween. Costumes, booze and a black-out. How could anything go wrong? Colm is with a woman who finally agreed that tonight is the night. Kelli had a little too much to drink and just wanted to sleep. And, oh what a night they each had. Colm couldn’t believe that a woman who could barely hold his interest is his perfect match in bed. Kelli couldn’t believe her eyes when she woke up. First she was satisfied then she was mortified. What the hell did she do?

I laughed my ass off through most of this book. Yes, there were serious times but most of it was a comedy of errors that had me giggling and smiling. I loved this story from beginning to end and couldn’t have been happier that Mari Carr finally gave us this story. I love the characters that she writes and the stories that she weaves. And, Pop Pop … always Pop Pop. I love, love, love this man and I cannot fathom a story without him and will not be a happy person when he’s no longer around. Hopefully there are a whole lot more stories to tell of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Um, Mari, can we keep him for the great-great-grandchildren, please? But, enough about Pop Pop.

Colm and Kelli definitely belonged together and a wise old man told them as much in the end. They always told you to beware of the boy that pulled your pig-tails and they were right. Kelli and Colm took the long road to each other but it was a road that led to love and happiness.

This needs a gazillion stars. Mary has hit after hit with this family. She always gets me balling (happy tears this time) with Pop Pops wall. This book had so many lines that just got me....Colm waiting for his “click”. Or when he tells her she is his curse and she melts over that. Colm and Kelli have such a connection.

Mari gets you going with the blackout. What a hot night but poor Kelli when she thinks at first it was Padrig. UUGHH Padrig (I may secretly be in love with him but don’t tell my husband LOL). This entire family just is it for me. I swear if I could jump into a story for a week I’d pick this family. I’d sit at the bar and just smile and have fun.

Oh and I LOOOVVEEE (can you get it) when Colm gets all cave man like when Padrig or family refer to Kelli has his and then he say MY KELLI! OOOHHHH

I could go on and on but really BUY THIS FREAKING AMAZING BOOK .... It’s HOT HOT HOT and funny. ...(I almost forgot. I don’t want to ruin but Sunnie has the funniest line about “falling off something”). I laughed so loud my family just looked at me.

Wild Night is a remarkable, well written frenemies-to-lovers romance story featuring Colm Collins and Kelli Peterson, who have know each other since kindergarten. It has a wonderful storyline and characters that come alive on the pages. There's a great mix of sarcasm, pranks, witty banter, LOL moments, a bit of drama, and oh, some hot sex.

I volunteered to review an advance reader copy of this book.

Mari Carr continues to captivate me with the entire Wild/Wilder series. I loved the frenemies angle, it makes such a hot, swoonworthy story. I feel like I am part of the family - just one more AWESOME book in this series. Kelli & Colm are my new favorites (until the next one...)

Kelli shares a special relationship with Colm and his twin brother Paddy. Paddy is her best friend while Colm is the man who has a talent for antagonizing her like no one else she has ever met.

All it would take is one fun filled and steamy night when Kelli and Colm didn’t realize who they were with to turn the dynamics of their relationship upside down. Now one of them wants to forget it happened while the other realizes that one night was not enough, let the fun begin!

Colm and Kelli have a way of challenging each other that is both fun and flirty and once they let down their walls with each other there is no doubting they are a perfect match. The performance of the narrators brought out both the chemistry and the romance between the characters. 🎧 Pink Flamingo Productions

Wild Night is a perfect title for Kelli and Colm’s romance. Hard to resist a frenemies-to-lovers book that turns the main characters on their heads on Halloween night!

There a so many fun, sexy, twists and turns in their romance that I found myself laughing aloud while frantically trying to read faster because I just needed to know what happened next.

Wild Night is a terrific addition to the Wilder Irish series and I cannot wait for the next one! Missy, 4.5 stars

I am a fan of the Collins grandchildren and after meeting both Colm and Kelli on the earlier books I am really excited about their story so I am a little bit disappointed that I did not enjoyed it as much.
I want more banter between the characters and I wanted to see how their love develops it feels too instant for me.

LOVED THIS!

Wild Night is the 10th in Mari Carr’s Wilder Irish series about patriarch Pat Collins’s grandkids... This one is a bit of a frenemies to lovers story, with Colm Collins and his twin Padraig’s BFF Kelli Peterson. They’ve grown up together, and fallen into a lifelong pattern of sparring and sarcasm, with a few pranks, terrible nicknames, and toe-to-toe arguments along the way.

One after-work drink after a particularly wretched week for both of them turns a corner, letting them glimpse a world where they can have not only a civil conversation but *gasp* enjoy each other’s company. Then a well-timed blackout is the catalyst that kicks them into overdrive.

Once Colm figures out that Kelli is the one for him, he just needs to convince her of it. Good thing he’s quite the determined guy.

Mari Carr’s series is one of my favorites—fun, funny, and full of family and heart. Wild Night is no exception. Colm and Kelli are a kick from the beginning, with their banter keeping it real as it kept me laughing. Seeing them come to see each other differently is a pleasure, as Ms Carr brings their growing feelings to life. Their warm relationships with their friends and family feel genuine as well, as we catch up with the rest of the Collins crew.

I loved every bit of Wild Night, and this has me hankering to reread the others in the series!

Hot with hugs>
4 stars

Wild Night is the tenth full-length book (there are a couple of novellas, too) in Mari Carr’s Wilder Irish series, which, I’m assuming, each focus on the happenings centred around a holiday. This is book 10 - October - so our main event takes place at Hallowe’en.

I haven’t read any of the other Wilder Irish books but this book does stand alone. With that said, the book was littered with cameos of (presumably) the other couples and thrupples from the previous books. I just kinda glossed over these people as even with the best of intentions, I was never going to remember their names and other than Colm’s twin brother, Paddy - they weren’t integral to the story. I can imagine that those reading the series will be thrilled to re-meet all the previous characters.

I love a bit of enemies to lovers romance - or in this case frenemies. Kelli and Colm’s twin, Paddy, have been best friends since childhood so Kelli and Colm have reluctantly been in each other’s lives since forever. However, our story starts with Colm and Kelli making nice with each other - the first time, they realise, they aren’t biting and arguing with each other. And that was a little disappointing for me, if I’m honest. One of the best things about enemies to lovers is seeing the sexual tension in a couple’s bickering - and seeing it slowly change as the relationship evolves. So we maybe started further into their relationship than we would normally. Or perhaps Kelli and Colm's original interactions were in the previous books in the series.

I was interested to see how our couple, or at the very least Kelli, could possibly have sex with each other without knowing who it was that was blowing her mind. I was fascinated how all the little pieces were moved into place so that it was actually pretty believable! I felt like applauding the author when it all came together and then the aftermath. Genius! And so blooming hot, anal tinkering notwithstanding. (It’s not my thing but no worries - I can ignore it!)

About the sex - the first few encounters were blistering perhaps because they were illicit or maybe because it was such a surprise to both Colm and Kelli. As our story progressed, the sex scenes got less often, and less sexy. I think that spoke of the changing relationship and the addition of emotions, which actually made it really nice. All the happy, in-love stuff that my little heart likes!

And speaking of stuff that I really like - this book has brought back the hug - a very under-utilised element in romance, in my opinion. There were lots of them in this book and they really showed the developing intimacy between Colm and Kelli. It was wonderful. I'm definitely #TeamHug.

Our main characters were both likeable - although I was worried at first that Kelli was going to be a bit brash for my tastes. But no, each was enjoyable, real and it was definitely fun to watch them dance around each other. I especially liked that it was the man who fell first and had to wait for the woman to “catch-up”. Always nice to see a man who knows his mind and his heart and isn’t afraid to face up to what he desires.

I also have to put minds at ease for anyone seeing the ‘Irish’ in this book and feeling a bit of trepidation since the book is set in the US with American characters. There’s the pub that appears to be the central focus point for this series of books. The hero is always nursing a Guinness. The grandfather is called Patrick while the grandson is Padraig - confusing me some. But apart from that, we steered clear of any cliches or moments of pure green cringe. Thankfully.

Excellent writing, an engaging story with likeable characters, some laughs and hot sex - I’ve really enjoyed my time reading this book and I’d happily recommend it whether you’re reading the Wilder Irish series or if this is your first time. 4 stars.

Wild Night by Mari Carr is book 10 in the Wilder Irish Series. This is the story of Colm Collins and Kelli Peterson. I felt this could be a standalone book. Colm and Kelli have know each other since they were younger and they were not really friends but more Frenemy. But one night both having a awful few days ends up taking about stuff that neither had done before. This set a different tone to their relationship that neither could really forget. Enjoyed their story and I plan on reading more from this author.

Kelli and Colm are lifelong frenemies. She's his twin's bff, but for some reason the two of them have been nothing but pranks, snark, and jabs at each other. Until one night after too much alcohol at his family's pub, a blackout, many o's, and suddenly the sparks between them all click into place. Will Colm be able to convince Kelli they're each other's ones, or will she fall back into their old pattern of interacting with each other?

This is such a fun frenemies to more story. I love how they first got together, how determined Colm was once he realized how she clicked for him, and most of all, I love his family, and what a tight unit they are with Pop Pops heading the clan. If you're looking for something fun, sexy, and super snarky, this is definitely the story for you!

Confirmed bachelor Colm is living the good life with a thriving law practice and all the freedom the rake has come to enjoy. Kelli has decided to have a baby, at thirty-four, her window to conceive is narrowing and she’s decided on using a donor.

After a few too many drinks at a Halloween party coinciding with a city-wide blackout and a case of mistaken identity, resulting in the greatest sex he’s ever had....causing him to reconsider his single status, he thinks she’s Brooke and she thinks he’s Padraig.

Her mystery Mr. Right is Mr. Hell No, Colm Collins, she’s ready to run for the hills, but Colm refuses to accept just one wild night with her.

Kelli and Colm:
“That makes no sense,” Colm said. “We’re twins, Kelli. Identical. Twins.”
“You know, I always forget that,” she joked. “It probably has something to do with the shape of your mouth. The way it’s always open and producing that annoying sound. Distracts me from all your other features.”
Colm grinned and doubled-down.

Kelli considers herself a relationship disaster and Colm a commitment-phobe, determined to @#$& his way to forty. That was just separately. Together, they were oil and water, Harry and Voldemort, Hamilton and Burr.”

A reverse courtship of lovers to friends, living together to dating, babies to marriage.

I adore Mari Carr's family books! Even if it has been awhile since I've read this series once I pick up I know I'm home.
The big Collins family continues to grow, but somethings remain the same, like the loveable Pop Pop dishing out advice and you can always count on the young, single members of the family keeping his life interesting and eventually wising up enough to take it.

Colm Collins and his identical twin Padraig have grown up with the "girl next door" Kelli Peterson. While Kelli was really Padraig's best friend, Colm and Kelli were more like frenemies, oil and water, fire and tinder, and every other metaphor that suggested these two just couldn't help pushing each other's buttons. So when most people in the Collins family expected that Paddy and Kelli might actually end up together, it was more of a shock that after a blistering Halloween night that it was Colm and Kelli that really did.

Colm never really believed in love, unlike most of everyone else in his family and Kelli also had given up on finding love. These two were both at the same point in their jaded dating game, although perhaps Kelli maybe more so. When Colm figures out first that Kelli is the girl for him, he gives her some time to catch up, knowing how stubborn she can be, after all he's known her her entire life, but when her stubbornness digs in and grows roots Colm throws out all the stops and tries everything to win over the love of his life.

Mari Carr's book are full of all the swoon, steamy smexy bits and lots of beautiful family moments!

Wild Night is a wild ride! This is book 10 in the Wilder Irish series. Colm and Kelli’s chemistry is off the charts. A Halloween night that either them is about to forget. A story that keeps you intrigued until the end.

Blurb:
He never realized the woman of his dreams is his lifelong frenemy…
After a few too many drinks at a Halloween party, Kelli spends the night in the arms of a man who rocks her world. However, when she learns her mystery Mr. Right is Mr. Hell No, Colm Collins, she’s ready to run for the hills. Wild Night is a great title for this book. Colm and Kelli have known each other since kindergarten. Kelli is his twin brother's best friend, but the two of them have always had a somewhat combative relationship. Until one wild night when they accidentally have the best sex of their lives. Once they realize what happened, Colm is ready to change their frenemy status. But can he convince Kelli that he wants forever?

This was a great read. It was well-written and I liked the plot. I connected to both characters and enjoyed their banter. I love this series and can't wait for the next book.

Received an ARC for an honest review.

I really enjoyed this one! It had a little bit of everything, including some extremely hot scenes. Colm and Kelli have been putting up with one another (barely) for years. She's his twin brother's best friend, after all. Until one drunken night and a few cases of mistaken identity change everything.

I think I read one of the earliest books in the Wilder series, and I'm glad that Carr has kept up with the hot, yet romantic reads. Watching Colm, a man who was going to be a bachelor til he was 40, get hit by the family 'curse' was all kinds of fun. Throw in an independent kindergarten teacher and you're bound to have a fun time. If you like your reads hot with enough romance to make you swoon, this is it. Now I have to read all of the others in the series...

As a fan of the series, I couldn’t resist this book. The trope is also something I love. The only problem is the big misunderstanding where both Colm and Kell, though they had slept with other people, not just Kell with Colm’s brother. The book was good but not as good as some others in the series. It was slow for its length and Kell ended up a been a little frustrating at times. She is not a bad person, she was stuck on her plan and nothing was changing her mind. IRL that wouldn't have been a problem, but in this story, it went against the HEA we all knew it was coming. The book was read in one sitting which means I enjoyed it a lot, even if I had some issues with it.

I couldn’t love these two more if I tried! Colm and Kelli were a tonne of fun; They were sassy and saucy, and heartfelt and emotional. They liked to poke each others’ buttons, but only for fun, and after having known each other for their whole lives, they knew exactly how to do it well. They were so well suited in the sheets, that even they didn’t try to deny the fun to be had there. I loved how Colm just accepted his destiny and knew bringing Kelli along wouldn’t be an easy thing. And that ending, oh my word, that picture that Pop Pop chose, such happy tears and a huge smile left on my face

I have completely love the "Wilder Irish" series. They are stand alone stories with connected characters and family. Pop Pop really adds so much to these stories with his wisdom and insight. This one is Colm and Kelli's story. Colm is Padraig's twin brother who happens to be Kell's best friend. They have all three grown up together but where Padraig is close to Kell, Colm and Kell have been more enemies than anything. Colm fought love saying he would never marry before a certain age. The other has had a string of non eventful relationships. However, a clock is ticking and one night of mistaken identities and a blackout change everything for these two. This is a fast paced story I could not put down. I enjoyed all the ups and downs in this story. The characters are wonderful. The story has passion, angst, love, passion, humor and so much more.

I have not read every book in the Wild Irish series, but as they all read as standalone’s, I didn’t feel lost in any way reading this book.
Kelli & Colm’s book was perfect. I loved when they took that next step - even though they didn’t realize that that was what they were doing!! But it was like they just went with the flow and decided to see where it could lead. The low angst was extremely enjoyable, even though I do love angst in romance, it is just nice to not have it every now and then. But it was the banter in this story that made it a five star read for me. Just outstanding!!

This was a great entry into the very entertaining Collins family series. Colm never thought he would succumb to the family curse, at least not until age 40! And he certainly never would have looked at Kelli as the one to change his mind! Colm and Kelli had known each other since kindergarten but they were more likely to fight with one another than ever get together. Then again maybe love and hate really are a fine line. Overall, a fun and steamy read that while part of the Wilder Irish series, can be read as a stand alone.

4 1/2 Sweet & Steamy Stars! Book ten in the Wilder Irish series this series is a spin-off of the Wild Irish series. Can be read and enjoyed as stand-alone, told in dual POV with HEA. This big awesome family owns and operates a pub, so the secondary characters are throughout the series. I love how the Collins clan is so loving and have an abundance of advice. Colm and his twin brothers best friend Kelli are too much alike to get along. I loved their banter, and how fast Colm was to accept the “curse”. I love and highly recommend this series!

Another fantastic add to Wilder Irish - Frenemies version

How many ways can "one wild night" after a Halloween party to sideways. They each think they slept with other people - what a hoot!

It's wonderful to see Colm fall to the "curse" & realized he really does "click" with Kelli - now he just had to convince Kelli that they would be great together especially now that she's ready to be a mom & is planning a "transfer of funds".

What a hoot!! Love the Collins Clan & seeing PopPop! The epilogue is great!! Thor! :-)

So freaking good. So freaking sexy.

I'm so very much in love with the Collins family.

The funny banter between Kelli and Colm is so perfect. Even once their relationship changes it stays the same. Nearly 30 years of history together makes for a foundation that gets rocked but not broken.

The happily ever after is amazing too. Just so much goodness in this lovely story.
