News Flash!
Woman scientist does XXX experiments with a big purple alien man sent to earth to check out humans!
This is a sci-fi romance book that started out seemingly in a serious manner, but it quickly degenerated into a somewhat silly alien erotica novel.
Luckily the book is more of a novella than a full length book. The lack of a real plot besides the excuse for the ADULT alien encounters is very evident.

I have really enjoyed reading all of the stories by Enid Titan. She has some creative takes on aliens that are different but enough to be compatible to humans. With reading this story, you could easily see how the humans are with the alien subject and with doing everything to keep it a secret, even if it is to torture and kill innocent humans because false stories must be made up to keep secrets. It is a sad day for humanity when aliens are more compassionate.
Millicent, Millie to most people, is a scientist just like her father. She is half-Asian and half-Nordic. With a Nordic mother that is 6' tall and blonde hair and blue eyes, Millie take after her Asian father, not only in looks but in being a research scientist too. She is the only female on the team of scientists and her boss gives her the creaps. When she asks him about the samples she has been working with, they all have a huge meeting with lawyers and then find out what they have been studying. They have captured an alien and are doing all sorts of testing on him. Each of the scientists are doing different tests and Millie's job is to do the clean up and patch up after they are done. She did speak up to ask if he was a scentinal being, and she was told to shut up or get out. When alone with the alien, he speaks with her.
Vidar is a high ranking being but is also a scientist too. When the Alliance wants to know more about Earth and how is the best way to make first contact, one of the men they sent was Vidar. He has special ocular implants so he can read a beings temperature, heart rate, just about read their minds and emotions and can hear very far. He allowed himself to be captured and allows the humans to do testings on him. He never lets them know that he can understand them and can speak. When Millie meets him the first time, she is the only person who wasn't afraid of him. She had a calm and compassionate feeling about her. It is proven the first time she speaks out about the 'testing' with knives and when she stitches him up and is apologizing to him. He speaks with her, and they are instantly attracted to each other. When he is coming out of his 'love coma', he hears Millie being attracted by her boss. He comes crashing through to defend her and her boss ends up shooting himself. They are on the run now.

Action, adventure, emotion, sexy alien, human savior, love, steamy. Did I miss anything? This book has it all. This is the kind of story that has me hanging out for anything alien and paranormal. There has to be erotica included - after all isn't that why aliens come to Earth in the first place? What does it matter if they're 7 foot tall, of multiple skin colors, sporting gi-normous appendages. This is the first of Enid's books I've read and I'll definitely be trying to get some more.

I got this book for free, full disclosure. It was very steamy, very good imagination from the author, but a little like Star Trek, the early days. The alien's dialogue was to acclimated to earth to be believable. And a scientist who wants to have sex with the captured alien, after two rounds of experiments. I don't think so. Potentially better with some tweaking.

Steamy, sexy, delicious, exciting, and realistic about human nature. I’m a big fan of Enid’s and she still finds ways to amaze me several books later. I am looking forward to seeing how things continue to unfold in this series.

An enjoyable quick read for when I was feeling tired and needed something to help me relax before bed. I felt like things moved very fast between the characters and would've liked to see more interaction between them as they got to know each other

Vidar is a stimulating short story about what himans do to unknown aliens and a woman who trys to save one such alien.

ALIENS!!! Ha. I love me some good alien stories. There were some structural issues (grammar, spelling, etc) but it was an enjoyable read

Wow what a way to start this new series of books.
Minnie worked at a top secret military base which she could not talk about to family and friends.while at work with her other co-workers her boss Dr Trout made her uncomfortable and his wondering eyes over her body.While he was there said that he has something to show them but they had to sign a non disclosure then she was taken to a room.In there was a creature who was big and purple.
Vidar was a alien from the second proconsul of the polluxian imperium. He pretended that he could not understand them but he could because he had implant in his head so he could hear what was being said and recorded information.
Minnie was put in charge of looking after the alien after all the experiments they did to him.Minnie was not scared of him but more drawn to him instead.
Vidar was interested in Minnie and what to know about the human behaviour and pleasure and she was his experiment.The sex scenes are really hot and well detailed.
The chemistry between them is hot and enjoyable and the other characters in book really bring it alive.
It well written and worth the read and I don’t want to spoil the rest of book but I will recommend this book and I cannot wait for the next one in the series to come out.
If this the first time reading this authors book I really recommend read the others which are just as good with Hea at the end of all of them.

Vidar has been given a mission..he;s sent to earth where he;s to stay for six months to learn about the earthlings. He allows himself to be captured. He is taken into a lab built underground. There he;s kept in a cell and the earthlings do tests on him. Meanwhile, Minnie is a scientist in the lab. The only female and that brings with it many problems, the major one being her boss. Once Minnie and her colleagues learn about the alien, they are to do more testing. At one point Minnie takes part in a test that knocks the alien out. When he comes awake, Minnie is by herself and he reveals himself to her. In fact they share some personal time. He also tries to explain that once they mate, he will become unconscious for two days. He is close to awakening when he hears Minnie's boss attacking her and goes to her rescue. Then he teleports the two of them out of there once her boss is dead. Now life becomes one of running but to where? And what will happen to Minnie? Will they stay on earth or go elsewhere?
Fantastic story and read that will keep you enthralled to the last page.

This was an enjoyable book. It's pretty much instalove. The H comes to earth to intentionally be captured so he could research humans. The h is a scientist who unwillingly performs inhumane tests on him. The H reveals to her that he is aware of everything going on and that he speaks and understands English. They immediately have sex and a bond is formed. There are issues with her coworkers that cause problems and eventually they have to escape. They eventually find their HEA. I've read another of her books and was very disappointed and a little disgusted. Luckily I didn't realize it was the same author so I reviewed this and am glad I did. I really enjoyed it. A few cons, there are editing issues, the sex scenes seem a little long, and I found myself skimming through them. I found his alien genitalia too be a little much. ALSO WARNING there is trigger potential to this book which includes both attempted rape and torture.

Minnie is stunned to discover the seven foot tall alien that is being held in the lab where she works. She’s heartbroken by the way he’s being treated, especially once she’s established a connection. Good thing Vidar has a few tricks up his sleeve, he’s going to need them!

this is a fun alien romance with a twist, what do you do when you have been tasked with eperementing on a giant purple alien, well fall in love with him and help him escape of course, how could Minnie do anything else?

Minnie was tasked with experimenting on this sexy purple alien but of course, she does not agree with the decision and wants to help him escape. It takes a little bit of work but they do escape and from there, plenty of action, steam and other things are revealed. I don't want to spoil anything so I will say that they book is a five star for me and a recommended read for sure.

Minnie is a scientist at a secret government lab. It’s a boring job until she finds out that there is a captured alien deep below what she thought was the basement. As they do experiments on him, she starts to feel sorry for him and becomes attracted to him. She is not aware that he has a secret mission on Earth. Find out what happens as the attraction increases between them.

A good story line but a bit sophomoric. Vidar is yummy as all get out, however, his speech was not alien enough; ie;.. let me show you what I'm working with..;. The sex was hot and imaginative.

This is the first book in the First Contact Captives: An Alpha Quadrant Series but it is also part of A Purple Alien Sci-Fi Romance series. I know I want to read more of this series.
