Single Dad Blue Collar Curvy Woman

Marissa Greer

I don’t date guys who come into the bar I work at.

Never.

Ever.

But when the hottie Leif volunteers to take care of my toddler so I can work to pay my bills—with the payback of a date—my resistance to his determination disappears.

Now I’m mixing business with pleasure. And dang, the man knows pleasure.

Leif Valore

I’ve wanted her from the first day she started working at my buddy’s bar.

I saw the fear of bringing a guy into her life. I have a kid, too, and I know it’s not easy.

My intentions run as deep and true as an oak tree’s roots.

Rissa will be mine.

Leif: Graffiti Boys 4  is an insta-love, happily-ever-after, STEAMY, single mom romance. NO cliffhangers, NO cheating. This is a standalone story part of the GRAFFITI BOYS series.

Really disliked this book. So... Leif had been crushing on Rissa 'for some time', yet he merrily has a threesome only a couple of months before he actually was with Rissa. Yuck. Can't even blame on the alcohol... and he didn't use a condom... cos they didn't ask. OMG. STI anyone? At the very least. I get blended families... I get that we live in a progressive world ( hooray!!! ), but when I read a something where the male has been wanting to get with the female but happily has a threesome not that long ago. No... just... no.

Sad thing is, I can't touch on the fact that he is successfully managing his addiction to alcohol... cos that is something to be proud of... but the other stuff just negates it for me.

As far as I am concerned this contains no spoilers... the previous book made it perfectly clear that what had happened patently didn't stay in Vegas.

This book was not my favorite of Brynn’s. It bothered me that the guy had a threesome without a condom. Especially when they weren’t people he was going to spend his life with. I would skip this one but I love all of her other books.

Leif Valore is a recovering alcoholic. He acknowledges that there is no “end” to the recovery, since it’s a journey he will always be on. He has a son named Dillon and an ex-wife, Tracie. He has asked Marissa (“Rissa”) Greer, the bartender, for a date many times, but she always turns him down. He knows why – she has more to protect than just her heart. He wants to be a better man, but his actions so far haven’t always shown that.

Rissa’s job as a bartender at Graffiti Street Bar pays the bills, but there’s not much left over. She’s struggling. She puts away her tips, but then the car needs work or the air conditioning bill is higher that month. She just can’t get ahead. She looks up and sees Leif – he looks really good in a suit. She’s definitely warming up to him a bit, even though she has a rule not to date customers. But she longs for connection, and for acceptance.

When Rissa’s babysitter can’t watch 2-year-old Riley on a Sunday when Rissa works, she calls everyone she knows to switch shifts with her or babysit. No one is available and she can’t afford a professional service. Leif notices something is wrong and offers to watch Riley. He can see she doesn’t trust him. But she needs the help – and all he wants in return is one date.

This was a good story focusing on self-discovery. Trust, fear, redemption, worthiness, it all comes together here. The relationship they start will have them facing their fears about past experiences, and defining for themselves what is truly important to them. Can Leif show her that she can take a chance on him? That he has the strength to be the man she needs? Can she trust him to be the reliable man she sees? Can she and Riley truly count on him to stay in their lives and be part of it? Grab your book and see how they make these important life-affirming decisions. And cheer them on!

Leif Valore is friends with Zale who owns the Graffiti Street Bar. Leif has a nine-year old son named Dillon. Leif has been sober for two years after hitting rock bottom. His friends all support him. He feels comfortable at the Graffiti Street Bar because no one will serve him there, but he can socialize with his friends.

His ex-wife Tracie is oblivious to the fact that Dillon needs help with his schoolwork. Dillon has a crush on Hemi’s eight-year old stepdaughter Skye. Dillon lives next door to them with Tracie. Leif is in a two-bedroom apartment near his business, Valore Lawn & Landscaping.
Marissa Greer is a single mother to Bella Lane who is going through the terrible twos. Marissa is bartending at the Graffiti Street Bar. It pays the bills and she likes what she does but she still wishes she could got back to college to finish her degree. Leif has asked her out many times and she continue to tell him no. Rissa is scared to date. Rissa gets in a bind and ends up allowing Leif to babysit Bella while she works.

I like how all the characters in this series are intertwined in interesting ways.

Leif is a recovering alcoholic it’s been hard and a month ago he nearly fell off the wagon instead he had a threesome with a lesbian couple and one of the girls got pregnant but that’s what they wanted but Leif was unsure about the whole thing because he already had a son, Leif has had a crush on Rissa for quite awhile he’s even asked her out a few times but she keeps knocking him back now it’s a joke between them. Rissa is a bartender at the Graffiti Street Bar she needs the money things are really tight and it’s harder being a single mum she see’s Leif talking to two women he looks gorgeous in a suit all of those muscles wow, he’s asked her out but she’s knocked him back Rissa has had nothing but losers in her life and she’s too scared to give her heart away again. Now Leif is at the bar asking her out again she would like to but she can’t. That’s all I’m going to give you guys but there is so much more to this story I loved it it made my heart sad for Leif he was such a good man with a good heart, fantastic story/ series and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Leif is another installment in Brynn Hale’s raffiti Street Bad Boys series. This one focuses on the romantic journey of Riana Green and Leif Valore. She is a bartender for the Graffiti Street Bar owned by an MC member. H is a recovering alcoholic who owns and runs Valore Lawn and Landscaping. He is attracted to her, however, do to emotional scars she resists his advances. He is also struggles to correct the errors of his pass and dailys works at being sober. One of the areas he works on is smoothing out the tension between him and his ex-wife. To complicate matters, one of his MC brother’s step-daughter, Skye, has a crush on her. He debates how to handle this situation as he does not want to crush the heart of a young child. Can Leif breakdown the walls around Riana’s heart? How will Leif settle the situation with young Skye? Will he remain sober? To find out, you must read this book.

This was another delightful contemporary biker romance. It is a second chance at love. I enjoy how Ms. Hale enhances the basic romantic plot arc with real life problems one faces dealing with sobriety. She handles this with respect and compassion as Leif sometimes struggles with his demons. The importance of he safety net of supports was nicely presented. The dialog is strong. The descriptive scenes are well done and pull readers into them making it seem that they are firsthand witnesses.

Leif is a recovering alcoholic and single father, who has been crushing on the bartender for quite a while now. She is a single mother so she has other priorities. His ex-wife is still in the picture, and it's a small town, and he has a big decision to make about how he wants his life to be moving forward.

This story was well-written and some parts really tugged at my heart strings. I loved the camaraderie between the guys, and all the other characters in this Graffiti Street world. However, like many reviewers, I found Leif likeable yet hard to like. I think this is testament to the author's writing abilities! She was able to create a character that makes us (to some extent) empathetic with him yet polarises the readers. Maybe as a standalone story it wouldn't be received as well, but as part of the other 5 books, I think it's a good variation to the other stories. Do read it and decide for yourself :).

Give yourself a new chance
Good romance, simple, well written, whose interest is in the realism and hindsight of the two main characters who have already suffered by their choice or who have suffered because of the choices of others. Besides, new decisions have to be made and they have to define what they want in their future life.
A former alcoholic, Leif is a single father because his wife left him and for several months he has been attracted to Rissa, a single mother. She has always refused to go out with him, but after he has helped her, also being strongly drawn to Leif, she decides to spend a night with him. But then comes the time for choices for the future.

What a great story! I've not read any of the previous Graffiti Street Bad Boys books, and I could read this one with no problems. This story is all about redemption, and facing your fears. Leif is a recovering alcoholic and is still discovering what that truly means. Rissa is a single mom, doing her best to keep her head above water, and learning that it's okay to trust others. These two have known each other awhile, and finally are starting to give in to their growing feelings. This relationship forces them to open up, to face their fears, and decide what they truly want from life - who they want that life to include. A surprisingly deep book for such a short story. I loved reading it!

Leif was another great book in the Graffiti Street Bad Boys series by Brynn Hale. Leif is a recovering alcoholic dealing with an ex-wife and a pregnancy after a threesome with a lesbian couple. Leif doesn't know how he feels about the baby and a month ago he almost fell off the wagon. Rissa is a bartender at the Graffiti Street Bar struggling to make ends meet. She is a single mother with a daughter to raise on her own. Leif has a crush on Rissa and has asked her out numerous times and she always says no. But things change when Rissa needs a babysitter and Leif offers. Could this be their chance at a new beginning?

I knew I would love Leif but he truly blew me away. He’s a character you want to hug, and tell him everything will work out. Rissa’s a character you will love from the start. She a single mother doing it all on her own. And when Leif offers to help her in a pinch it changes everything. But it’s not all as simple as boy meets girls. Past becomes present and messes everything up. So they will have to make things right so they can have their HEA they all deserve.

Leif is a recovering alcoholic. Rissa has been let down by every man she has known. Will she give him a chance? Will their mismatched family work?

Overall, I liked this book and it was a steamy quick read. There were a couple of times that I shook my head because while I understood it was prior to them getting together, it sounded like he was trying to date her, but got someone else pregnant? I loved the chemistry between these two and loved how they were able to bring out better sides of each other. I will definitely be going back to read the other books by this author!

This is the fourth book in this series Graffiti Street Bad Boys. The story is full of emotions, the only part I didn't like was that Leif has wanted Rissa for a long time, but a little before he asks her out he has a threesome and one of the ladies gets pregnant. Otherwise the characters are great and have chemistry together. Overall a great read.

A sweet tale of discovering one’s self and true love in another

This is my favorite read (so far) that Brynn has written. I adore how realistic the characters have been within her Graffiti Street series, but Leif is definitely my favorite so far. I loved Rissa as well, her stubbornness was her protection - but when she loves, she loves wholly and fiercely.
These two together made such a great story, I loved how Rissa made Leif learn himself and in return he shows Rissa and her daughter the unconditional love that they deserve so much. Their chemistry is off the charts and Brynn’s epilogue for these two just made my heart melt. I can’t wait to read more of her releases.

I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book.

This is the fourth book in the Graffiti Street Bad Boys series, it can be read as a standalone story, the storyline is fast-paced with loads of drama and emotion.
I really liked the characters, both Leif and Rissa have a past and Leif is definitely harder to like but he did win me over. I'm really enjoying these blue collar guys.

Great book!

Leif has a lot of issues. He's a recovering alcoholic, but that doesn't define him...and it shouldn't. Rissa is a single.mom trying to protect her heart. This book is full of love and pain, but it has a happy ending. The epilogue needs to be edited, it felt like a last minute full in and it is loaded with typos!

What a tender love story of two people who have been down and out, working to get back up. Rissa and Leif made a beautiful couple once they figured out what they wanted and needed was each other. Overall a very good book, thanks. Written by Cindy :)
