The book was compiled by Imam An-Nawawiو the great scholar of Hadith and Fiqhof his time. Commentaries on the Ahadith have been added by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf of Pakistan who had originally executed them for the Urdu edition of this book. The English translation of the book and the - commentaries was performed by Dr. Muhammad Amin and Abu Usamah Al-Arabi bin Razduq who have performed their task with utmost care and profound interest.

Abū Zakariyyā Yaḥyā ibn Sharaf al-Nawawī (Arabic: أبو زكريا يحيى بن شرف النووي‎;‎ 1233–1277), popularly known as al-Nawawī or Imam Nawawī (631–676 A.H./1234–1277), was a Sunni Shafi'ite jurist and hadith scholar.[3] He authored numerous and lengthy works ranging from hadith, to theology, biography, and jurisprudence.[4] Al-Nawawi never married.[5]

Riyadh us-Saliheen is an awesome collection of ahadeeth. I was fairly new to Islam when I first got my hands on it, and I remember opening it up and being unable to put it down. The categorization is also great. However, for the non-Arabic speakers, I'd be cautious of some of the mistranslations in the dar us-salam version.

This is one of the extremely few beneficial Islamic audiobooks available in English.

I absolutely loved it and would recommend it to every Muslims <3 I will definitely be reading it again in’shaa’Allah

though I would keep in mind that some translations are not very clear and it could be confusing to understand.Also , some Hadith were da’if obviously it wasn’t the majority and most were reliable, sahih but there could be some that I haven’t seen الله اعلم keep that in mind. Either way this compilation of Hadiths are about the traits , characteristics , and etiquettes we should harbour as Muslims to be like the righteous. Some of them are pretty obvious like for example lying. Most of us, if not all, know that lying is not permitted (except in specific cases but that’s not the point ) I think having evidence of the impact of what we do makes us really think more of our actions. It’s those really obvious things and small things that could be nothing for us but will be heavy on the day of judgement and we have to be mindful of those.

May Allah سبحانه وتعالى guide us on the right path and continually make us strive for Jannah.

রিয়াদুস সালেহীন - ঈমাম মুহিউদ্দীন ইয়াহইয়া আন- নববী (র) রচিত নির্বাচিত হাদিস গ্রন্থ। রিয়াদুস সালেহীন এ কোন যঈফ হাদিসের স্থান নেই। এক একটি বিষয়ের হাদিসের শুরুতে উল্লেখিত বিষয় সম্পর্কিত কোরানেত আয়াত সংযুক্ত করা হয়েছে। এখানে প্রায় ৫০০ কোরানের আয়াত এবং ২০০০ এর মতো হাদিস রয়েছে।

Riyad-us-Saliheen is a wonderful book consisting of Verses from Quran and the Hadiths (Traditions) of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) regarding to various aspects of live and provides guidance for them in the light of Quran and Sunnah. The chapters are formed with a very good sequence and this book is beneficial for everyone who seeks guidance in life in the light of Quran and the life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

Saya gak ngomong isinya yah. Soalnya saya bisa jadi terbakar kalo ngomong isinya. *penjahat jujur mode on*

Cuma pas pertama beli dulu, cuma dapat yang jilid 1. Mau beli yang jilid 2, penjualnya dah gak jual ketengan. Akhirnya setelah timbang-timbang, beli aja satu set. yang Jilid 1 nya kasihin ke temen yang jelas emang wilayah bacaannya sekitar ini.

Beberapa bulan kemudian, dia dan istrinya dapat momongan lagi.

Gitu deh.. gak nyambungkan?

Buku bagus. Buat saya nambah tahu info soal hadis aja. Biar tahu itu hadis bukan pepatah. Jangan layak salah satu artis sinetron kemaren. Kan saya mau main sinrtron soalnya. :D

كتاب يحوى أحاديث للرسول عليه الصلاة والسلام وطبعا ليست هى مناط للتقييم اذ انها دينى وما اعتقد انه ما ارسله الله الينا على لسان نبيه ,قرأت جزءا من الكتاب وحضرت قراءته وشرحه فى المسجد مع تحقيق للأحاديث,مقسم الى ابواب بطريقة رائعة ,لا غنى عنه لمن يتعلم ما يدين به لله

read this because i promised my mom i would do so. this somehow made me believe in islam less than i already did (which is quite a feat lol). it’s crazy because for years i was just vaguely not convinced by any of it, but now that i’ve read the passages for myself i’m like ohhhhhh okayyy. you guys r in a cultttt, got it !

This book is an excellent collection of hadith and stories. However, sometimes the author's efforts at connecting it to our current timeline with examples seem to be highly pessimistic, especially against women, ignoring any mention of society members who are on the right path and do follow Islam.

what can i say.. a book that´s stands for almost a century.
imam nawawi literally put his life on these books. and we the forerunners just can step on his shoulder to grasp the understanding of the phrophetic advice.
however, a people with shallow basic understanding of islamic laws like me, might also need to read an additional tafseer book for this.
so you can understand the true meaning. of what imam nawawi trying to achive on this book.

after all. it should be a must read book. for all muslim,
just after you have read it, you´ll know why.

actually i have BI edition, but the ISBN didn't hit anywhere, so, i just register this edition into my shelf..

kitab hadis yang bertajuk "taman bagi orang solihin" ini merupakan kitab koleksi hadis-hadis yang dimuatkan oleh Imam Nawawi, mengikut bab-bab..

Hadis beserta terjemahan dan huraian dalam kitab ini cukup menyentuh jiwa, sesuai dengan tajuk kitab ini sendiri.. Baik untuk membentuk jiwa seorang Muslim..

As one of the most recommended books to have on every Muslims bookshelf I couldn't agree more. This two book volume set is built to shape the Muslim and his/her character into the best of molds in which he/she was originally built. The accompanying commentary after each hadith brings relevant context to the reader. I really enjoyed this read and recommend it to Muslims and non-Muslims.

This is indeed a great book. As a new Muslim, this book was easy to read and understand. It is especially nice to do discussions with a study group for each chapter. The teachings were great and helpful. I have to say, I really had a great time reading this book with my fellow students during the summer of 2006 (I believe).
