SPOILER ALERT: So did "Poor Fred" really die as a result of being struck by a cricket ball? After reading this book all the way through, I still don't know the answer. That seems to me a basic and fundamental flaw of this popular biography.
Oh, and another thing that annoyed me about this book was the way that the biographer always referred to his subject as "the Griff." Come on, show a little respect, Dude!
