I'll be honest, the first third of the book frustrated me... Compared to the previous books, the plot progressed at a very slow pace - one step forward, two steps back - and all I wanted to do was shake Sully, slap him, kiss him... and slap him all over again! And the amount of sex? Boy, I got tired for Eleanor. I swear I felt a little sore myself... Lol 😂😂😂
But then, the plot took a surprising turn - and like Alice in Wonderland, I fell into the rabbit hole and completely lost sense of time... 💥💜

Although Sally is the perfect anti-hero and I LOVE this new side of him, that gave a serious fight to (my all time book-husband 💍) Jethro Hawk (are they distant cousins or something? 😍) - but this time, the female character was the one to steal the show. 🔥
Eleanor is AMAZING, you can't help but fall in love with her... with her fire, her courage, determination and the fact that she doesn't let anything scare her - not even Sully. I want to be her best friend, damn it! 💜😂
The previous books were great... but this one? It's a completely different league - Pepper at her best!💥
I devoured this book. I enjoyed it so much that at some point I started crying - and when my husband asked if the book is sad, I replied: "No, but I've reached 60% and I don't want it to end because then I'll have to wait another month for the next one!" 😂😭

'THIRD A KISS' is the third full length romance book in Pepper Winter's 'Goddess Isles' series. It picks up where the second Twice a Wish book left off.
Wow!! Perfectly perfect, perfection at its best!
As you can see I was hooked from the get go. Chasing my quarantine blues and spending time in paradise was the perfect time to indulge in this series.
This series is going from strength to strength, each book better than the last. Inhaled at record speeds!
This starts off with a BANG remember how the previous book ended. SOLD. Her only escape was giving him his own medicine. She fed him his very own creation.

My heart rate spiked up as soon as she realized she was in grave danger. Gone was the man she had fallen for and in his place was a monster out to ravage her whilst under his precious elixir.

And when he catches her, holy moly ipad combusted!! This was insanely hot!!
What I loved most about this book was how we got a more indepth look into Sully, his hot and cold demeanor seemed to evaporate in this book, lies and truths were uncovered, we saw a softer side emerge, gone was that ruthless cold hearted man and in his place was someone unrecognisable.
God how I love this series, it just goes from strength to strength, but as we're lulled into a false sense of security I'm inhaling those pages faster than I ever have before when wouldn't you know it, I'm thrown over another cliffy, this time it's from an outside influence as Sully's brother has popped up on the scene. Things are about to take a turn for the worse!!

Great book, terrific cliffhanger!
Wow again! Pepper Winters is great at creating some killer storylines and fantastic cliffhangers. I am just glad that I am not reading these as they come out so I don’t have to wait months to start the next one. Sully is still the God of the island in this book and still has his Goddesses that he bought from sex traffickers. In this book we find that all is not as rosy for these Goddesses as Sully would like to think.
In the first book, he told Eleanor that all the women on the island are happy to be there and most of them are in love with him. It turns out they aren’t as happy as they pretend to be, they have just been making the best of the four years he makes each of them stay. Also they act like they are in love with him because they want his money and they want to be equal partners with him, but they don’t really have feelings for him.
The romance in this book is Sizzling hot (🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥) and not always due to the Euphoria elixir. Sully has had trouble in the past resisting Eleanor and he gets even worse in this book. Though every time I think he is going to turn into a better person, he does something that shows he hasn’t changed a bit. Pepper Winters sure can create a Hero you love to hate and hate to love!
Those of you who don’t like the type of books where men are misogynistic and cruel, should definitely not read this series. Because Sully is a bit crazy. He loves animals and does everything he can to protect them and runs an animal sanctuary for animals that were tested on by various drug, make-up and skin care companies.
Sully hates to see an animal in a cage, but doesn’t mind putting a woman in a cage for a punishment. He doesn’t see anything wrong with owning women and he figures if humans can put animals in cages, they aren’t above being caged themselves. The problem with this (well one of my problems with this) is that he doesn’t even know if these women ever did anything to animals. Like Eleanor, who is an animal lover and vegetarian.
Anyway, this series brings up a lot of emotions and feelings, which is one reason I like it so much. Every time I want something to happen, the opposite happens. I think Eleanor is definitely a fool for falling for Sully, but she is determined. She fights him as much as she likes him and is constantly trying to make him better. He can’t really go anywhere but up. The ending was another shocking scenario, like the last two books and I am diving right in to the next one.

What a wondrous journey this is turning out to be, it started on a volatile note in book 1 and by book 3 it's promising turns are both indulgent to the senses and clambering off desires. I could feel the sizzling chemistry between the characters, the scenes were violently hot and sensuously erotic. I got high just by reading them, I wonder how pepper fared while writing them. This series will get more intricate as it goes into the next book, b/c it ended on a walloping note. My jaw dropped, heart dropped and pretty sure my panties were in a wad!
My heart just broke and broke again for ALL the characters, bipeds and quadrupeds, winged and aquatic...
Sully has his work cut out for him in the next book and all the characters will have to pass a test of loyalty and allegiance...cannot wait to get to the next episode in this Topsy turvy world of Goddess Isles!

It could’ve easily been a novella since probably 80% of the book is sex. Every time they were finished I was hoping they would have like, I don’t know, a conversation? 🤷🏼♀️
Show the deeper connection we hear them say they have. But no conversations are finished before he’s ‘deep inside her’ again.
It was a it tiresome and repetitive at the end. Even the poetic prose used can hide the fact that this is just a very long smutty novella.
The ending was very sad but it was also the only part that added anything to the story.
It didn’t necessarily dislike it, my expectations were just higher.

I honestly have no words. Pepper Winters introduces us to a alluring new world full of love, lies and deceit. A world that is as beautiful as it is deadly.

I am honestly not gonna say much cause I’ve got the next book to read but I gotta say, this series is definitely one of my favourites this year and I would highly recommend it!

I mean, I guess I still enjoyed this extreme-sex, at least partly... But I dunno whole these apparent bruises, swollen parts, blue lips... Shortly this super violent sex perception - I don't find it attractive, I love hard sex, but this is violence, no? In the book, it might sound sexy and hot, but in reality. Auch! It already hurts!

How strange that I reached the same percentage point as Deliver and giving up for the same purpose. Although I might go back to this one eventually considering how invested I am and that I own the whole series. Again nothing against Pepper Winters, she’s an amazing writer. The captivity trope just isn’t for me.
Here’s my review for what I finished:
Anyone else not feel bad that Sully’s basically got road rash on his dick? Just me? Well I did admit that I’m a vengeful little creature.
Three books in and almost 600 pages I think I finally understand Sullivan Sinclair. Don’t get me wrong, I still think he’s an asshole but he’s also broken. And broken I can work with because broken is fixable.
I can’t be the only one who considers Jealousy as Eleanor’s Jiminy Cricket.
“I care because he cares. And…if he learns to care for someone, perhaps he’ll care for all of us.” She shrugged, looking much younger than her previous conversation suggested. “If you can give Sully his freedom, then maybe…we can have ours in return.”-Holy Shit, talk about an epiphany. He really did take away his own freedom because his degradation towards humanity also reflected on himself. If you just keep digging, I think eventually we’ll find a decent human being.
There’s this horse named Monotonous and Sully likes to beat it. He just keeps beating it but what he doesn’t realize is the horse is fucking dead! 🤦🏼♀️

The 3rd book is about lust, love, trust, loyalty, revenge, admitting your true feelings, fear and personal demons.Eleanor and Sully went thru a lot to get to this point, she has demands , he tries to agree to them , they both try to be on the same page, they finally accepted that they belong to eachother, but is love enough to keep Sully's past demons away?
"I’d gambled with fate and lost. I’d asked for something I could never survive. And she’d been delivered straight from my fantasies and directly into my nightmares."
I am giving this 4 stars because I was unsatisfied with the end- it is a cliff- but that's not what annoyed me, Sully's character was built for 3 books to be ruthless and cunning, to be in control and two steps ahead of everyone, so when the end came I felt like he wasn't using his brain at all, and just went with the threats. Maybe it will change in the next book.

What. Did I. Just read?! The amount of flipflopping of emotions left me with whiplash. I love him. I hate him. I love her. I can't trust her. It was an emotional rollercoaster and I knew something had to give. The tension was swelling and this couple were about to burst!
Sully's examples of love all ended with deceit and betrayal. His parents lied to his face. His brother was two-faced and played up the adoration in public and the horrendous abuse in private. Animals were special. They didn't lie or cheat or try to be anything but the primal beings they were. They could be trusted. Their affection could be trusted. Eleanor's love... not so much.
And yet, when he finally let his walls fall down... when he finally sees the truth after putting Eleanor through one of the strangest tests of love... it was frighteningly beautiful. Here was this man who was turned into a monster, who did monstrous things, who fought monstrous urges, and he found love. The kind of love that spoke through time, distance and denial. It was a living, breathing thing. It was volatile, destructive, wild, toxic and all-encompassing. Now that Sully has had a taste of what happiness is, there's no way he's letting Eleanor go.
However, happiness isn't guaranteed and this is far from the end. I love how Pepper Winters has thoroughly messed with me. I was ready to bask in the glow of the twisted love Sully had discovered with Eleanor, but true danger is on the horizon and I have no idea where this story is going next. Lucky for me, I've already got book four prepped and ready to read!

Hello there and welcome to the Goddess Isles. We’ve been pretty busy over here, slaying the readers and all, but come, take a look. Don’t be shy! You’re going to like it, I promise. After book two left me with mixed feelings about this strange couple, book three twisted and turned everything around. It was like Goddess Queen Winters listened to my prayers and delivered us with the GOODS. There was back and forth in this page-turner. I devoured this read THE MOMENT IT HIT MY KINDLE. Steam was ever-present. The cunning twists were everything I needed. Eloquent conversations by seemingly educated individuals graced the pages. Cute animals stole the show and made me want more. Ellie, one of my favorite Winters heroines, has a spot at ‘girl u cool’ table. She handed out slaps after slaps (not physical ones, unfortunately, LOL – I’m in no way promoting violence in real life. Just in this book.). She snapped multiple times. She showed her values and beliefs and I melted away. BABY GIRL, STAY STRONG, WE GOT YOU!
Sully (whose name I’ve grown to love) has a special place in my dark room. He served all the angst we didn’t know we needed. I won’t say much about his shenanigans in Third A Kiss, but I’ll reveal that I understood him more at the end of this. There was a tiny part from approx. 60% to 75% where I wanted to slap the hell out of him, more than usual, but other than that, he was good in his bad ways.
As always with our dark romance community, I plead not to let the social justice warriors hear of this, BUT let the Anonymous For The Voiceless community get a glimpse. I’m sure they’ll love the heck out of Goddess Isles. Lord knows, these guys need something to cheer them up! I’m forever in awe for Pepper Winters and what she’s done with Sully and the entire ideology he has. I never expected this sort of thing to be so elaborately treated in a romance novel. I love every single second of it and I’ll miss it when it’s over.
Pepper Winters has created a universe in these three published books that is so wholesome, heartbreaking, fascinating and, well, steamy, too, if you roll that way. The sneaky author has tricks up her sleeve and I feel them coming! She's not done yet, y'all. Every book unveils another layer of the characters and of the universe in itself. You think you know these characters? THINK AGAIN. I’m anticipating book four! I can’t wait for this continuation. By far, the best series in total so far of 2020 and I’m sure the final two books will cement that sentiment!
I recommend this to all fellow animal lovers/vegetarians/vegans (WE’RE GETTING A SEAT AT THE TABLE, Y’ALL! High school bully, who?), complex heroines with big hearts admirers and lovers of tortured trust-issues leading men with big… islands amongst other things.

Oh wow!! I am totally hooked on this series now! The reveals in this instalment were huge, and the new things that happened had me on the edge of my seat! If you are a reader who loves an exciting dark read, this series is for you! It is definitely not to be missed!!!
I am moving on right away to the fourth book and I am dying to know what is going to happen next!
I am very glad the whole series is out now, because the cliffhangers in each tale has been drastic!!! I literally haven’t been able to wait to read the next book!! I have had to jump in right away.

There is no amount of "OMG" that can prepare you for this book. I read the first two and was floored with how much it consumed me. I always love her books but these are just...WOW. Sully really owns a piece of my heart right now after this book in particular. I lost my shit at page one of this book and messaged Pepper to tell her she ruined me for any sleep I was expecting to get that night - and it did not let up after that. There are so many layers to this story, some are amazing, and some just gutted me, but either way it is nothing short of incredible from beginning to end.
This series is breathtaking, and so heart-stoppingly incredible, I just can't wait for everyone to read it.

I LOVE to infinity how Pepper wraps me up in a story. Layer upon deliciously decadent layer that teases all the senses and sends characters careening down so many wild and ingenious paths. A kiss. “This kiss had no boundaries or confines. This kiss was just teeth and tongue and spit.” A kiss can soften the hardest of broken hearts, bend the strongest of untrusting wills, and bond a powerful destiny that won’t be denied. “How could my heart welcome him as if he was coming home? As if he belonged to me?” Ah. But, a kiss can also lead to unforeseen destruction. So many barriers are broken in this visceral story, yet so many other steely obstacles are erected in this couple’s path. “I fell for the monster. Wwwooowww! Pepper Winters is the 👑Queen of Dark Romance👑. These characters are everything right now. Angsty, romance, and brutality all swirled into one relationship. We are so far from where we started.
Pika and Skittles can they just be real and be mine. Pika kills me with Sully... hanging upside down on his head. I think they really run the island. They just let Sully think he does. 😉
When I started reading Third a Kiss, it was apparent one of my theories was right. My thoughts were, OMG!!! I KNEW IT! I knew it. (I can’t tell you what I know... but I knew it!) This blew my mind, because I’d almost given up on the thought it.
This book took us deeper inside their relationship. It was more about that than what the island’s purpose is. They both have such great empathy. I think that’s what draws them together. I found myself in love and in hate with every moment I spend inside Sully’s head. He has major trust issues (DUH). Every step forward he takes four steps back. One of my favorite passages was from Eleanor “No matter your technology and masks, Sully, our chemistry will override everything.”
Just when I think I know where their story is going, the author flips everything. She wrings emotions out of me.😭 It leaves me exhausted in the best way. Now, I can’t wait to see what everyone else thinks. Oh yea, and I waiting for May. I need the next book.

We’re back in Paradise with Jinx and Sully and just wait until you read this one! This begins where the jaw dropping cliffhanger left us and be prepared for an EYE OPENING start!! I don’t know how Pepper tops herself but with each book I’m transported into this world she created! New revelations are revealed, New enemies unleashed and New feelings will all be introduced. Their connection flies right off the pages it’s so intense. Passion...Mystery...Action...this has it ALL!! Eleanor Grace and Sullivan Sinclair are what Dreams are made of! I’m so glad to see my predictions from the other books came true! Are you ready for another rollercoaster of emotions in the Goddess Isles? I don’t know if you are. Told in dual POV and as always yet another climatic cliffhanger and prepare for what awaits you in Fourth a Lie coming next.

Ho-ly ISH! This book! I almost don't even know where/how to start.
Once a Myth and Twice a Wish were absolutely amazing...but Third a Kiss?? Absolutely Amazing doesn't even begin to cover it! Legit I am having to pause and think about this review because I cannot find the words to do it justice. Words like perfection, stunning, and HOT even pale in comparison to what this story truly is.
We pick up right where Pepper left us at the end of Twice a Wish and...OMG OMG OMG OMG, no joke...as soon as I finished reading Chapter ONE (seriously just chapter one), I was messaging her with fire and shocked face emojis. So frickin' HOT! And it doesn't stop there! That fire between Sully and Eleanor is nothing short of a full blown inferno.
Sully is a character that you really don't want to like. Given what he's done to Eleanor, and the other Goddesses, and the fact that he simply does not give a $#!+ about that...it doesn't exactly make him to be a like-able man. But...with Pepper's writing...you can't help but fall hopelessly, deliriously, completely in love with him. He makes some choices in this book that made me want to cry...sad, angry, and happy tears. He makes some choices that make me want to jump into the story, cut off his little (okay, most likely, not little) man parts and shove them down his throat. But he also makes me want to jump in the story and do exactly what Eleanor did to him at the end of Twice a Wish and experience that for myself! He is, without a doubt, one of the most sexy, alpha, possessive characters I've ever read...and I am thoroughly in love with him.
Now Eleanor...she is the EVERYTHING! I LOVE Eleanor!! She is nothing short of perfection to me. She is exactly what Sully needs. Probably one of the best female leads I have ever read!
So many things are said, done, and revealed in Third a Kiss. I wanted to cry, I wanted to laugh, I wanted to jump up and down for joy, I wanted to throw my kindle across the room in anger and frustration, I wanted to swoon...I WANTED to be Eleanor!

I was super lucky to get an early copy of Third a Kiss (Goddess Isles #3) by Pepper Winters. Eleanor and Sully's feelings are put to the test in more ways than one. Sully continues to battle his inner demons and trust issues. Eleanor comes to terms with falling for Sully, a monster with a heart of gold. But does a relationship with Sully mean a life sentence of agony and ecstasy with a man she is desperate to understand?
Pepper serves up love, lust, lies, and revenge with a kiss of suspense that will blow your mind and melt your Kindle screen. This series is beyond addictive. It's 110% Kindle Crack. I can see this dark romance series being tapped for a Netflix "after dark" type of show. Once again, I'm blown away by Pepper's masterful storytelling abilities.

Omg I can’t catch my breath! This book was so phenomenal and had me on edge throughout the entire book! The whole series is genius, brilliant, unique beyond anything you could imagine. Sullivan Sinclair is alpha, sexy, he’s brilliant, he commands attention and makes no apologies for being who he is. He’s the ultimate book boyfriend and I can’t stop swooning over him.
I’m so addicted to this series. I crave every single word written and am desperate for more.

Im still speechless and flying with violent need after reading book 3 of this seductive series. Pepper definitely knows how to weave her sorcery just like her anti-hero Sully in this book but it’s Eleanor’s strength that will leave your heart pumping so much lust, want and angst into your soul .
Book 2, well that ending was the most do or die moment for Eleanor and her bravery. This story picks up just from that heart stopping ending and what transpires will leave your body wanting to jump into those pages and feel every shuttering , climatic desire that Eleanor experiences... coz you never ever RUN from Sully so the chase begins!!!!
Sully finally lets his stubborn walls and chaotic heart feel things he never though he could experience EVER!!! But nothing is fair in love and war and this is definitely a reckoning of letting go.

Whew! This book really got my adrenaline pumping! I have to say, I am loving this series. We finally get some answers in this book. And man, I have never been so glad to be right. Third a Kiss starts of with bang (hehe) and is nonstop intensity for the entire book. It’s sexy, and suspenseful, and so angsty. I loved every minute of it! If you haven’t started the series, go back and start with Once a Myth. You will definitely not want to miss out on this series!

Gobsmacked. Dumbstruck. Astonished. Amazed. Flabbergasted. Aroused. I am not sure how many other ways or words I can say that describe how I felt after finishing this book. I don't know how she does it but every time, she expands on her world-building and takes it a step higher. EVERY. TIME. I knew this book that it would be good, after all, she wrote it, but I had no idea that it would be this good. Truly sublime.
Thie book picks up where the previous one left off, and if you haven't read it, then know it left me on bated breath because where it ended was on a whopper of a cliffhanger. I was not prepared for what was going to happen when Sully got a taste of his own medicine, literally in this case. It was brutal and animalistic and it was PERFECT. I loved gaining more insight into Sully and what makes him tick. There were a few huge surprises there. However, the biggest surprise came from Elanor once again. I am amazed at how logical she is, even in times that she should be angry and or running for her life. Her empathetic nature is beautiful to see and is often one that is rarely seen in the real world let alone in fiction. There is a certain mystique and magnetism that draws me to her, almost as if she truly is a Goddess rather than a mere mortal. Sully never stood a chance against her.
Both of these characters seem to balance something in each other, almost as if the universe and fates had created them for each other. There is a part of me that felt like regardless of the circumstance and the how or why Jinx came to be part of Sully's world, that they would have met eventually because their pull was that magnetic. I take comfort in that because I cannot see this as only someone falling in love with their "captor" but rather, It was a love predestined in the stars.
After finishing this book, I again was left with a whopping book hangover and wanting to both simultaneously scream that May now seems like forever away and cry that this part of the story was over. It was beautiful, poignant, heartbreaking, raw, intense, and stunningly perfect. This cliffy stung a little (as per usual) because I know it is going to really hurt after what this book offered and that it probably won't feel better until book five because book four will be the destruction before the aftermath. That really stings because I am not sure that my heart can hurt like that for two months. I rarely can handle cliffhanger books because the wait not only kills me but because I am worried that I will forget a pivotal detail. However, with this author's series books, I never forget which makes this anguish of ending on a cliffhanger worth it as well as makes it more than a tad bittersweet. Kudos, to this author for knocking my socks off.
