This story sweetly captures the transformative power of found family. Plus it's sexy as hell.

I can't wait to read more from Sandy Gilchrist! This was honest, emotional, and delightful. And sexy. Did I mention sexy?
A well-written and poignant love story. This short story made me laugh, cry, & made me feel a little bit warm *eyebrow raises* (if you get my meaning). If you are looking for a heartwarming lesbian romance - look no further!
This was such a sweet story that I read overnight while my young kiddo was having a fussy night. I bet many a person goes to a cafe and hopes to meet a cute barista who also happens to be the owner. A relatable story for many on the LGBTQ spectrum with aspirational friend goals for sure.
Being forced out of your childhood house can be a very difficult time for a young woman. Leaving to have a life of her own choosing and finding someone to love and cherish her is a big bonus, it comes in handy when the mother dies and buried and Ava is not told and has a letter sent to her from a lawyer that no further contact is permitted, such! HEA . Enjoy!
It's what everyone dreams of, finding just the right person when you need her the most. This is a lovely love story and shows perseverance and overcoming hateful homophobia from parents. Trying to make you like them hateful and unkind to all. There were understand and loving people around her.itvwould be nice to have yhose kind of parents.
