I adore Yuko's art style, especially with these travel comics. Having all of them back-to-back really helped me appreciate the small details, like seeing a ceramic pot Yuko made as a kid at the family grave and seeing it again 3 vacations later. I'm so glad I could snatch up a physical copy of these.

Gorgeous travelogue with masterful black and white artwork that not only gives you a feel for the places they went, but also who they are as people. You really feel like you're along for the trips with them, while it lasts.

When I saw the Kickstarter for this book I just had to help out. A book? Goodies? Sign me up! I just love Yuko and Ananth's comics/art so having a chance to have this book on my shelves so I can always read it even when I have no internet, yes please! This book tells of several travels that either Yuko did alone/with her dad or that Yuko and Ananth did together. From Japan travels to Hawaii. I just loved reading them, and I could definitely relate to Yuko and how things were just too much at times. I would love to visit the places Yuko and Ananth have visited, especially Japan is big on my list (but oh so expensive). There are also photographs (often with a drawing of Yuko/Ananth on it) which I just loved. I love how people can combine two mediums (if that is the right word).
Yes, I loved this book and I would highly recommend it to all.

Cute and fun! I kickstarted this what feels like six minutes ago so props to one of the most quickly fulfilled kicks I've ever started. Their experiences with culture shock are funny and well explained for those of us who aren't as capable of/in need of wandering. Just wish it were a doorstopper like the last one.

Every year I go to SPX and I get a book from them. This year it’s a sweet travelogue. I remember seeing parts of the older pieces in other books.

It’s very cute.

I wish the photos were in color though.

There's something very calming and gentle about every auto-bio comic Yuko Ota and Ananth Hirsh make. Their books are the ultimate comfort reads.

Such a fun and cute little book. Makes me want to go to Japan and to start doing journal comics again.

Wonderful little slices of life/travel. Reading Wander actually has the same feel as a eating a bento box lunch. I loved it!
