I can not recommend this book enough - and I felt like that after having only read 2 of the stories in it!

Wanting Winona by Maren Smith - All the stars
Oh my word this is a full length story and what a story it is. I LOVED Daddy Eric and Little Win, their relationship just felt so completely and utterly real. In many ways this is a very slow burn story, there isn't an actual sex scene, no play and a couple of punishments.

And I didn't miss it one bit because this book was all about the mind, the emotions, the thoughts and feelings of Win discovering her Little side. Maren Smith has outdone herself with Wanting Winona, it is one AMAZING read, I wouldn't change a single thing about it, can't find fault with it. Let me warn you though, you may need a stuffie and a box of tissues for that epilogue - OMG I'm still blubbering now. The most perfectly perfect of endings.

Educating Ella by Katie Douglas - 4.25 stars
This is less Daddy Dom, more school master/school girl, and one incredibly hot read to boot. The author managed to incorporate a fantastic mix of story, emotion, character development and kinky play. The two main characters, 'Ella' and 'Idris', really drew me into the story and I soon found myself rooting for them to forge a deeper connection.
I loved how the author meshed Ella's strong personality from her everyday life with her submissive side. Both elements were cleverly portrayed and she was both a likeable and very believable character.
Whilst Idris was definitely a dominant character, he didn't feel overwhelmingly alpha with it. In fact he was more like the nurturing and guiding school master he 'played' at the castle, which I found very refreshing and was totally on board with.
I have the book on pre-order and will review the remaining stories when I get chance to read them, but would recommend the book just based on this story alone.

Undoing Una by Tabitha Black - 4 stars
How this managed to be both incredibly hot and sexy yet have a heartwarming sweetness too, I will never understand. The story is absolutely wonderful with a fairly low key DD/lg element that built naturally through the story.
Landon is a fantastic Daddy dom, gently introducing Nayla to aspects of the play without making a big deal of it and whilst maintaining total consent. I particularly loved how it was Nayla who pulled up her big girl pants and went all out to get the guy, showing that little girl subs are still strong women.

Daring Daisy by Rayanna Jamison & Alyssa Hart - 4.25 stars
This was a great read. Daisy felt so very real, her struggles with submission and her emotional battles were honestly and realistically portrayed. I didn't feel quite such a connection with Rett, though he is one warm, caring and respectful Daddy Dom. I found him incredibly likeable and the perfect foil to Daisy's character.
Despite there being very little 'sexual' content, and not a huge amount of play, this was still a hot and full of feels read. It totally engaged me, holding my attention throughout and is a great addition to the anthology.

Restoring Rylee by Pepper North - 4.5 stars
Well despite not being a huge fan of either instalove or "very little" age play, I have to say I AM a big fan of this story. I totally loved both Rylee and Dallas, Pepper North utterly captured my heart with this pair and she very readily convinced me of the depth of their connection. The story just flowed from the page, drawing me into it's current and carrying me along to the very end. I definitely need to read more work by this author.

Addi’s Adventure by Delia Grace - 4 stars
I loved that this was a peak into an established dynamic, rather than a 'falling in love quickly' story. Whilst I've enjoyed all the books in this anthology, it was nice to have a story with a different feel and focus. Addi is very much a little, living with her Daddy and Mummy, and the story focuses on her mind set, desires and experiences.
There are some hot scenes but for me this story drew me in with its excellent writing and its portrayal of the kink. It felt almost like a learning experience, beautifully wrapped in a great story and is a wonderful addition to the anthology.

Leading Luciana by Adaline Raine - 3.75 stars
Two things that really stood out for me in this story were its excellent message on the individuality of kink, and the HFN/hopeful ending. The story is set over a weekend, so I loved the realism of Lucky and her Daddy Gabriel enjoying their time together with the hope of meeting up in future.

Izzy’s Indulgence by Lesley Clark - 4 stars
A wonderful story to complete the anthology. Isabella and Max are already a couple, busy with their lives and planning a wedding. Max realised he and Izzy need to reconnect, and what better place for a Dom and his sub to do that than the Castle?
At one point I suspected Max was one of those overbearing alpha males who rode roughshod over the heroines preferences/desires because "he knew best". However he acknowledge not only deliberately pushing her boundaries in a way he knew she wouldn't enjoy, but his reasoning for doing so did feel valid. Izzy is normally a 'teen' in her age play, but Max helped her let go by pushing her into a much younger mind set, whilst still honouring her hard limits. It's a great story, quite gentle but also pretty steamy at the same time.

Ella is a journalist that has moved from China and is a war reporter for the New York Times. Not watching where she is going, talking to her overbearing mother, Ella departs a bus and runs into, who we find is our hero, Idris. Staring into this gorgeous (and she finds our British) man’s eyes does all kinds of funny things to Ella. But her main goal is to let lose of her responsibilities, and embark upon The Castle and all it has to offer.

The Castle is a BDSM haven that people of any and all types of walks of life can go and achieve anything they wish. Ella, being an “older little” runs into, yet again, Idris. New to this type of scene, Idris is intrigued by the dark hair beauty and wants to know more, and quickly.

Through no fault of either character (although neither minded or complained) Ella is placed into Idris’ care and tutelage. Finding that each is exactly what the other needs, in every yummy facet of their lives, and watching the battle of life occur, made me want more than anything for these to work out.

This is a collection of daddy dom stories set at a lifestyle resort, The Castle. I count eight stories (not just the six mentioned in the blurb), each of which features a different couple, but all of which involve BDSM, generally of the Little variety, but even that has variations and flavors. The stories are also all written by different authors, so you get quite a bit of variety there as well.

Some things that are consistent throughout are that all of the stories are well written, populated by interesting and well developed characters, and are very steamy. I found some familiar authors in the collection, as well as some new ones for me, but I was not disappointed in any of the stories I read. Overall, this collection provided a lot of reading entertainment.

Highly recommended.

Wanting Winona by Maren Smith
THE WHOLE DADDY DOM PACKAGE

Welcome back to the Castle—it’s been months since the bombing, while the Castle has been reconstructed, it is full of issues throughout—electrical, plumbing, shoddy work, expenses over the budget, and now it is time to open. When the hired contractors fail to do their job and leave it unfinished, the Masters decide they must bring in others. Winona “Win” Mallaber was trained by her late father, and now she is going to be hired to help get the Castle up and running.

“Mallabers, as her father used to say, stood for done one, done fast, and done right!”

The story is a wonderful addition to the Master of the Castle tales, and this one will bring in a “Jill-of-all-trades” Win Mallaber, the only female hired to help repair, replace, and get various things working at the Castle. She will be assigned to Master Eric Novak, a Daddy Dom in the Nursery. Part of the contract agreement is that all the contractors will be under a Master in Charge, and Eric specifically asks Marshall for Win. Eric sees the “little” in Win, and his Daddy Dom persona wants to protect her, care for her, and punish her when needed—and he does.

“She wasn’t his Little. But he wanted her to be. He really, really wanted her to be, and that was at once the most terrifying, appalling, gut-ripping revelation he thought he’d ever had after knowing someone for this short a time.”

The story will have plenty of angst, shock, experiences, and awakening desire as Win is hired as a contractor to work at the Castle, and under the watchful eye of Daddy Eric. She will surprise everyone with her work ethics, but when it comes to listening to rules, her naughty side comes out, and Daddy Eric has to punish this little girl many times. What is it about her that he just feels the need to take control? This has never happened to him before, but he isn’t going to let this chance get away. Will Win and Eric find a chance for more? Will she find a place to settle and a Daddy to care for her? Has she found her “spot” with Eric and the Castle?

Undoing Una by Tabitha Black
GUESS EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON

Una Greaves is an accountant in a large firm and rarely gets away from her high-stressed, long-hours job but is scheduled to meet her occasional hook-up, Dr. Kurt Carlson, at the Castle. They try to get together every few months—a no-commitment relationship that works well for both of them. But what happens when she arrives, and he isn’t there? And then learns he backed out and didn’t bother to let her know? Master Marshall will step in and assign the newest Master, Landon, to be with her for her week's stay. Master Landon is a Daddy Dom in the Nursery, but he also has a sadistic side to him—just what Nayla (her Castle name) needs to help her fulfill what her painslut side craves.

“This girl had serious problems with letting go; he’d realized that almost immediately. He wondered why, and whether he’d be able to make any progress on that front in the short time they had together.”

The plot will have Nayla stood up by Kurt and Master Marshall, assigning Master Landon to be with her during her stay. Nayla resists at first but capitulates to Marshall and Landon. She will discover things about herself—needs and desires she never embraced—all because Landon sees a Little buried deep inside her. Making rules about eating, and refusing to allow her access to her phone or laptop is a strain, but what she needs—but it will come at a high price. And Landon’s words about the reality of being replaceable are a wake-up call when she returns home to her job.

“I have a stack of resumes in my drawer from people who are hungry for your job. I want you to remember that, and remember how precarious your position is right now.”

Leaving the Castle, not saying goodbye to Landon, and returning to work leaves her empty. She tries to remember the things Landon tried to get her to embrace—even if she isn’t a Little, they help her cope—but she needs more. How is Landon doing back at the Castle? Do these two have a chance at more? Landon is right, her work doesn’t define her, and she needs more in her life—is there a second chance for happiness? Was the chemistry between them only because she was a guest, or could there be more?

“I go to the Castle for some R&R, and my whole life gets turned upside down.”

Daring Daisy by Rayanna Jamison and Allysa Hart
I DARE YOU

The writing duo of Rayanna Jamison and Allysa Hart has spun another great tale of a couple, Daisy Grace and Everett “Rett” Novak, brother to Master Emerson. Rett and Daisy will meet on a forum and chat for over a year when he asks her to come to join him at the Castle to see if what they have online will work in person. Has this Daddy Dom found his little girl?

The story will bring two people together, and from the beginning the chemistry is strong. Rett never pushes, allowing Daisy to test the waters and eventually decide that yes, she wants to experience a Daddy Dom--little girl weekend. It isn’t easy for Daisy to capitulate to Daddy, knowing she will be receiving a spanking and giving up control, but her little is screaming to be let out. Even under acquisition, Daisy has a safeword, and Rett is constantly aware of her, her emotions, and her reactions. The story will have the ups and downs as they experience the dynamics of their relationship, misunderstandings, and new beginnings.

“Blessing in disguise. He was the world’s most perfect man, and she was refusing to let him in. How dumb was that? He was so much a Daddy, even when he was trying not to be. She needed to let him fly his Daddy flag, and she needed to fly her Little flag. Who knew when she would get another chance?”

“Good girl. I appreciate your trust, little one, I promise to cherish it and protect it with all that I am. Part of being my little girl means giving yourself over to me. Fully and completely. Mind, soul, and body. I want you, all of you.”

The story will have issues of doubt, self-imaging, and fear of being used. It will have a man who does his best to help his little one see beyond the mirror and show her she is beautiful, inside and out. It will involve trust and faith in another person—and when that is broken, it will involve correction and forgiveness.

“We came here to immerse ourselves in our roles as Daddy and Little in a safe and neutral place where we didn’t have to fear judgment. I will not judge you, Daisy, but it means you have to trust me. You have to give yourself over to me, and you have to obey. You hurt Daddy’s heart, and I have the perfect implement to mend it.”

Restoring Rylee by Pepper North
DADDY WAS IN CHARGE

OMG, Ms. Pepper North, got me in my “feels” with her story of Rylee Edwards and Dallas Kennedy. I was crying happy tears before the end of the story. The story is packed full of emotions, fears, dreams, desires, and happiness.

It was Karma that these two come to the Castle on the same bus. Rylee works as an assistant librarian in a small town, and her secret of being a Little must be guarded to prevent being ostracized. Dallas is a body-builder and now trains others. One is a Little, and the other is a Daddy—and the Castle is where the magic happens.

A dream come true for Little Rylee, who saved for two years for eight days to live out her fantasy, to allow her inner child to shine. Body-builder Dallas Kennedy knows from the moment he spots Rylee on the bus that she is a Little, and when she goes into a panic when they arrive at the Castle, he is the one to calm her down, take control, and from that, he is her Daddy. IT IS FATE!

“You need a Daddy, little one. Will you let me show you how a Daddy takes care of his little girl?”

The chemistry of Rylee/Ruby/Princess and Dallas/Axel/Daddy is instantaneous and so right. They click immediately, and it is exactly what each of them wants and desires. Rylee will acquiesce to Dallas, and while not easy, she will accept his rules, his proclivities, his punishments, and his passion as he helps her into her “little space.” Daddy knows what his little Princess needs before she does, and shows her that he is the best Daddy for her.

“I will do my best, Daddy. Will you help me to be brave?”

As their week progresses, both know that the ‘real world’ is going to be calling, but what if, just what if there could be a place for them permanently at the Castle? Do they each have something to offer professionally, that will allow Daddy and his Princess to stay together? Sometimes, dreams do come true, and little girls find their happily ever after with a Daddy.

Educating Ella by Katie Douglas
LEARNING HER LESSONS

Having had the privilege of meeting Ms. Katie Douglas at RomCon 2018, this story just fit her personality, and I could just picture her in the role of Ella. If you aren’t aware, Katie is proper British and lived in China. She is animated as she speaks, and such a bubbly individual.

I liked the Ella knew what she wanted, what she needed, and to what extent she would go to fulfill her needs. Recently divorced, determined to continue her career while trying to be respectful of her family, she is caught between her family culture and her chosen profession. She needs downtime, and that is why she submits at the Castle.

Idris is a self-made man, a stern taskmaster, and has come on the same bus as Ella to the Castle. Both will be in the ageplay program and watching Ella; he ascertains that she has been here before and knows what she is after. Seeing her in her schoolgirl uniform is a plus, and he will ask Mr. Collins, the Castle’s school teacher if he can sit in on class. It doesn’t take long for Ella to act up and be called into the office and Idris is there to witness her caning.

Idris and Ella will be paired together, and he will become in charge of her, and his lessons aren’t always with discipline. While they keep their real lives secret, they mesh well with one another. They will surprise one another with their banter of Shakespearean quotes that will only add to their formal evening. But an offer made by Idris will have Ella shutting down—and it will be something he must breakthrough. What will happen to these two after their time at the Castle when the world calls them back? Two people who are in tune with each other during play and out of it. Will their lives offer a chance for happiness?

Addi’s Adventure by Delia Grace
DADDY, MOMMY, AND PENNY

Another twist on a Little relationship will have Addi/Penny and her Daddy/Antonio showing up at the Castle, but Daddy isn’t happy with Mommy/Natalie because she did not meet them as she was supposed to. Daddy and Penny will have to start their adventure at the Castle without her. Penny will dress as a schoolgirl and attend a class where she will meet Cindy and Damien. But little Penny’s mind is wandering rather than paying attention to the teacher, and she will find herself in trouble. Wanting to experience this, and it happening are two different things.

The dynamics of Addi’s family has been in place for nearly a year, with Addi as a little to a married couple, Natalie and Antonio. He will top both of the girls, and that includes punishing both of them.

The story has Addi wandering off on her own to the stables and meeting a couple who are scening. She will learn that it is rude to interrupt and be publically punished. She will also learn what it is like in school, having friends, and going on a date. All of these are exciting and confusing—how will Mommy and Daddy feel? The story explores many dynamics at play at the Castle and how each kink is to be respected. Little Penny will make several new friends during her visit.

Leading Luciana by Adaline Raine
NEW KINK: DADDY DOCTOR GABRIEL AND LUCKY

For Luci/Lucky, this visit to the Castle is difficult and almost enough for her to want to turn around and just go home. As a Little, she has struggled, especially when others wanted to define what was acceptable or unacceptable for her as a Little. Then her partner for the weekend visit was deployed, and here she is, all alone.

Luci will get dizzy at the Castle’s wardrobe, and emergency help will be contacted. She will be carried to the medical area, and then Doctor Gabriel will attend her. What a shock when things are rearranged, and now Doctor Gabriel will be with her for the weekend, allowing her to have her Daddy-little weekend, plus.

“With Doc as my Dom and my Daddy for the weekend, I couldn’t wait to experience everything the Castle had to offer—and more.”

What a great story to reiterated that kink is not a “one size fits all” or that what works for one should be defined by another. Lucky is a person with many different facets and needs, she has her Little side that needs to come out, be naughty and playful, but she has her big girl side that loves to explore and enjoys rougher sex. The two can meddle and allow for pleasure, and Doctor/Daddy Gabriel helps her explore both sides of her needs.

“The ball is in your court, sweetheart. Tread carefully.”

For Luci/Lucky, she adds some new kinks, loves the orgasms with medical play, and discovers that she can be a little and a big girl with just the right person. No more allowing someone to dictate what works best for her or place her inside a box.

Izzy’s Indulgence by Lesley Clark
YOU NEED TO TRUST YOUR DADDY

There was a brief mention of Max and Izzy, short for Isabella, in Daring Daisy, where they meet at orientation. And this will be the story of Max and Izzy and their time at the Castle. They are nearing their wedding date around Christmas, and Isabella is stressing to the point she is snapping. She even tells Max that he isn’t taking care of her, being her Daddy. It will be a wake-up call that his little girl needs help from her Daddy. A spanking and bed and then he places a call to his friend Marshall and makes arrangements for a surprise Daddy-little weekend.

Max will lay down rules when they arrive that inside their room unless he tells her different, she is a big girl, but outside the room, she is little. His goal is to keep her in a little headspace to give her a break from work and planning and to focus back on them and the dynamics of their relationship. Many times, he will push her comfort zone, taking her to a smaller little status than she normally is in, but feels regression is the key to their happiness.

“I want to take care of you today, the way a Daddy takes care of his very little girl, and for some of that to happen, I need you Little before we leave the room.”

The weekend is just what Izzy and Max need to center them again. While the stress of the upcoming wedding is still there, for a few days, Max will see to Izzy’s care, her mindset, and for her to lean on him more.

While I appreciated that this book used safewords, was generally well-edited and adequately written (for my caveat to this, see below), and featured some ethnic ("Educating Ella") and kink diversity (within the realm of the umbrella kink, Age Play), this was my least favorite book in this series -- and I've read them all. My reservations about it have to do with its overall disjointed structure, the brevity of the individual stories, and the emotional coercion/blackmail present in nearly every relationship -- while the book technically contained consent, I didn't think that it did on a deeper psychological level. Because of these reservations, there were some stories I didn't finish.

To be more specific:

1) Overall Structure: As a few other reviewers noted, I don't understand why these authors released two different versions of this book; one without two stories. Because Maren Smith's story -- which, I gather, provided the most information about the Castle -- was absent from the version I read, my entire reading experience was disjointed since little explanation was offered for what happened to the Castle (I only know this because I've read the previous books), why it was reopening specifically on Halloween, and why the reopening progress was so fraught. Most anthologies include an introductory story to "set the scene" (the Black Light Roulette books, for example); without one, I never felt anchored to this world.

2) The Brevity of the Individual Stories (you may not want to read this section if spoilers are a problem): So, yes, these are shorter stories within an anthology; I get that. But I've read a lot of anthologies, and never have I felt that they were as unfinished or abrupt as the ones here. Almost none of them, for example, contained transitions between scenes, so I often didn't know where the characters were and how much time had elapsed between chapters (In "Izzy's Indulgence," for example, Max drops Izzy off at the nursery, but we're never told that he just leaves her and walks away, so I was very confused when we went from his holding her hand to -- very suddenly -- the Nanny holding her hand). "Educating Ella" ends probably half a page after the H and h revealed to each other who they really were so the ramifications regarding that information aren't explored. And the ending to "Addie's Adventure" is so open that I can't tell you what Addie's relationship will be with ANY of the people in her life going forward.

3) Emotional Blackmail/Coercion: Yes, there was discussion of safewords; yes, some characters used theirs; yes, at no time did the dominants not stop when they were uttered -- BUT, there were so many arm-twisting, it's-my-way-or-the-highway moments that I did not label this as "consensual." A few cases in point: Una is not a little; thus, to make her story fit the overall theme of the book, Landon forces her to experience a kink she had not signed up for. This worked out only because of the author's artificial manipulation of the plot; in actuality, Una had every right to feel that as a paying guest she was not getting what she registered for. At one point, Dallas threatens Rylee with leaving when she -- understandably -- exhibits nervousness regarding a kink she's never tried:
“You are here to live as a Little. This has been your dream. I will take your diaper off if you wish. They had arranged another Daddy for you. Would you like me to make an appointment for you with Master Marshall so you can request a change?” Dallas’ tone sounded distant and unemotional to her unhappy ears.
“What? No!” She threw herself into his arms. “I want you to be my Daddy. Please?” she begged, dropping down to her knees to wrap her arms around his waist and press her cheek against his warm thigh.
To her relief, his arms wrapped around her, pulling her tight against his hard body.
Any dom (or anyone) who engages in the "do it my way or leave" strategy is emotionally abusive. How does Rylee know he won't attempt this manipulation over and over again in their relationship? Finally, in "Izzy's Indulgence," Max betrays Isabella's trust so often -- leaving her in the nursery alone when he knows she doesn't like to play in public, unilaterally changing agreed-upon rules -- that after a while his constant refrain of telling her to trust him rang hollow and in her position I wouldn't have.

A few thoughts about individual stories:

1) "Undoing Una:" Despite the reservations I mention above, this was my favorite in this anthology for three reasons. First, the two had some conversations as adults and we got both their point of views so I felt that I got to know them more than I did any of the characters; thus, I was invested in their relationship. Secondly, Landon (unlike most of the H's) admitted when he was wrong and apologized. Finally, this was one of the few stories with any real tension since the couple faces a seemingly near-insurmountable obstacle. Because of that, I found this story more interesting than any of the others: most went just too smoothly to really hold my attention.

2) "Restoring Rylee:" The two main characters NEVER had an adult conversation. Because of this and the reservation I list above, I found this particular story very unsettling. Note: I also want to warn readers who prefer lighter Age Play that this one contains diapers.

3) "Educating Ella:" Although I appreciated the ethnic characters, the Shakespeare references, and Ella's maturity, accomplishments, and professionalism as an adult (and that Idris appreciated them), I was pretty much done once Idris caned Ella's hand (truthfully, there were so many punishments in this story that they ultimately became a turn-off). I also really didn't appreciate the author's cattiness in depicting the other female littles. I really hate when books in this genre do this -- and they do that far too often.

4) "Addi's Adventure:" For entirely personal, subjective reasons, this story wasn't my favorite since menage isn't my kink (though, again, I appreciated the kink diversity). I also didn't understand why Addi's "daddy" didn't tell her where he was going when he left -- her subsequent behavior was on him, not her. Since double-standards in this genre are my pet peeve, I really didn't like this entry.

5) "Leading Luciana:" Had nice humor, a kink I hadn't heard of ("sounding"), and sympathetic characters (though I agree with at least one other reviewer that Gabe seemed more interested in Stasia), but the back-and-forth "Lucky" experienced over her kinks got too repetitious (as often happens with this author's books).

6) "Izzy's Indulgence:" While it was clear that Max loved his wife, I couldn't get over his emotional manipulation (see above). I didn't appreciate either his forcing his wife into a Little headspace she clearly wasn't comfortable with or his unilaterally changing their agreed-upon rules in the middle of their game. In addition, this story needed editing: one moment we're told that Max had seen Marshall; another, we're told that they hadn't. And their friendship was never explained.

As always, I want to reiterate that the above is my opinion. YMMV.

1. WANTING WINONA by MAREN SMITH
OMG! Since this is my first trip to The Castle, the introduction to me was almost as chaotic as the first chapter … hahaha. I was trying to keep track of who was who and what their jobs were but as I read further along, it became apparent to me that Maren Smith, in her usual style, had laid things out so well I didn't have to keep track. It just flowed like a movie in my head and I was thoroughly introduced to the players in a family-style way. The chemistry between Winona and Eric was just absolutely relatable with her wide-eyed wonder and his reluctance to admit his deeper feelings. It was sexy, beautiful, and heart-melting. At the same time, since this is my introduction to The Castle, there was a bit of mystery that seemed to be playing out which had me intrigued. I know I'm going to have to backtrack and read "Masters of the Castle" now that my interest and curiosity have been peaked. What a great introduction to this Anthology!

2. UNDOING UNA by TABITHA BLACK
Nyla was a senior accountant with all the tendencies of a work-acholic. She had previously booked time at The Castle every few months just to take a break so she didn't burn herself out. Her play partner was one she had met on-line and, although they weren't really compatible personally, they had a fantastic chemistry when it came to their kink. That was until he pulled a no-call no-show for their return to The Castle this time. That left her and her masochistic needs abandoned when she needed it most. Enter Landon. A former fire fighter who had a knee injury that would not allow him on the force. He's Sam's brother, The Castle's resident sadist with a formidable reputation. He's also a Daddy Dom with sadistic tendencies of his own. When Marshall appoints him as Nyla's partner for the week will either of them enjoy their time together? This was such an outstanding story that brought forth all the emotions of abandonment, control, trust, and acknowledging their inner self.

3. EDUCATING ELLA by KATIE DOUGLAS ***** Oct 29, 2019
Mary, aka Ella, was of Chinese descent, with parents who had lived and staunchly enforced their Chinese values from thirty or so years ago. She had recently gone through a divorce and was a war journalist for a paper in NYC. She's gone through numerous changes since the last time she's been to The Castle, and she desperately needs to decompress. This was such a delightful read about a Dom and a little in a school setting. I always enjoy Katie Douglas' books so it didn't surprise me that I was over the moon for this one. A wonderful happy for now ending.

4. RESTORING RYLEE by PEPPER NORTH
What a beautiful, heart-felt, magical, erotic, fate induced storyline. And those adjectives are just a few I could use to describe this story. Although the depth of this kink is not mine, it was presented in such a way that it was probably one of the most beautiful narratives I've read. I'm gushing over Dallas and Rylee but when you read this one, you'll understand why.

5. ADDIE'S ADVENTURES by DELIA GRACE
Addie, aka Penny Lane, was a full-time little to a married couple. Going to The Castle was to be a "family" vacation that had been planned for some time. They were going to be the quintessential 50's style family. Addie's fantasy on this vacation was to include being enrolled in the school program as a pre-teen. Will this turn out the way they were hoping or is this going to be a total disappointment? Delia Grace is a new author for me and what a delight the story turned out to be. I'll definitely be watching for more of her stories.

6. IZZY'S INDULGENCY by LESLEY CLARK
I'm not sure where to begin with Izzy's story. When she becomes so stressed over working a full-time job plus making and planning the wedding, Izzy just had a huge melt-down. When that happened, Max didn't know how they got to where they were, but realized he hadn't been paying close enough attention to her. That's when he called his friend Marshall at The Castle to see if they had room for the following week-end. When the answer was yes, Max had the surprise all setup but is what he has planned to put them back on track going to work or is it going to cause more problems than what are brewing now? I loved the logic but not real sure I could accommodate the request. Well, maybe. You'll have to read it and decide for yourself.

7. DARING DAISY by ALLYSA HART and RAYANNA JAMISON
Such a relatable story with all the feels and emotions that go with that! Daisy had met Rett, aka Everette, online. They've been talking back and forth for nearly a year now and had been honest about a lot of things, including Daisy's inclination to never turn down a dare. That's how Rett was able to get her to meet him for the first time at The Castle. But Daisy has a secret she's been keeping. Her medication has added weight and she no longer has the slim figure she had in the picture. Will Rett still want her once he meets her? Will she be able to fully let go and enjoy the few days they have together without feeling self-conscience about the added weight? You don't want to miss this one for sure.

8. LEADING LUCIANA by ADALINE RAINE
This story just resonated with me. Luciana, aka Lucky, had "Little" tendencies but she also had adult kinks. She had been told over and over the two did not coincide, so she probably just wasn't a true little. She'd gotten herself worked up and by the time she arrived at The Castle was dizzy, light-headed and had to go to the medical ward to make sure she was alright. Doctor Gabriel, on staff at The Castle, was the one asked to check on her. Between the chemistry between these two relatable characters and the eye opening revelations surrounding the personalization of kinks, Adaline Raine has brought a wonderful happy for now story to light. What a remarkable lesson learned.

This is my first trip to The Castle so you can imagine how pleased I was to be introduced. My review is on Katie Douglas' book "Educating Ella" and as I read more of them, I will certainly update as I go along. Katie is one of my one-click authors so I know I'll enjoy what she writes. This one was a titillating experience for me. I felt like I was the new student at school keeping my eyes peeled for everything new and exciting and I wasn't disappointed. If this is the caliber of what's being offered in this anthology, I can hardly wait for more.

This is an amazing collection! Some were by my favorite authors but I found a few more that I wanted to start reading more of. I loved all the stories. Each story was hot and steamy. Educating Ella and Wanting Winona were two of my favorite stories. These were awesome Daddy and Little stories. I didn’t want to put it down once I started reading.

The Castle is finally opening back up after a year of repairs well almost. The contractor has left before finishing the job. There are a lot of problems that they need to fix but can’t wait. In Wanting Winona, Daddy Eric and Winona work though some construction repairs in the Littles area during the reopening. They also discover a connection. Winona is here as part of the group of contractors hired to get the place ready. She has always been a nomad going from job to job. She longs to settle down. Will Daddy Eric help her realize her dreams?

In Educating Ella, Ella and Idris meet at the Castle when he takes over her discipline after an incident. They connect while they are in the Castle bubble. He keeps her in line as she needs it. This is the time where Ella can leave her adult worries behind and let her Little out. Will they continue after the weekend is over?

Wanting Winona by Maren Smith: 5 Stars
This was a story about a Daddy Dom and a newbie, Winona, a cute mix of independant woman and secret little. I loved how Eric was with his Little. He was understanding but stern, loving, protective and smoking freakin hot. All I can say is Win was a lucky little girl :) * Will definitely be checking out this author!

Undoing Una by Tabitha Black: 3 stars
Una is a regular of the Castle (into BDSM) but when she gets stood up by her partner for the weekend, she gets paired with a Daddy Dom instead. Although age play is not her kink at the start, Una and Daddy Landon hit it off and she is exposed to the right kind of care only a Daddy can give. This was another really good written story that had me falling over Landon :) Una/Nayla was a bit harder to warm up too but I especially loved the ending.

Daring Daisy by Rayanna Jamison and Allysa Hart: 5 Stars
This was tied for favorite of the bunch with Wanting Winona. Daisy is a little who has been chatting and emailing her Daddy Rett for the last year and never able to turn down a dare, Daisy is finally taking the plunge and meeting her Daddy in person. Face to Face. I most connected with this Little, tbh and I loved her from her insecurities to her straight up sinful fantasies. Then there's Daddy Rett.. He was just amazing. Sexy, sweet and sinfully stern, this Daddy hit all my buttons, lol! Loved this story from start to finish. Will be hunting down these ladies' past work *fingers crossed* there's more of this yummy DDlg bliss to read!

Restoring Rylee by Pepper North: 4 Stars
Rylee has come to the Castle to finally live out her Little fantasies but being shy and overly self conscious about her inner little is hard on her. Her opening scene is her having a mini breakdown on the bus when she finally arrives to the Castle. She's overwhelmed with nerves and stressed emotions not knowing what to expect when her Daddy shows up to save the day! Daisy is saved by Daddy Dallas. He's been waiting for his own special Little and he falls for shy Little Daisy right from first sight. (Full Disclosure: this one has diapering, diaper wetting and anal play)

Leading Luciana by Adaline Raine: Rating 4 Stars
Luci is a confused Little. Her mixed bag of kinks makes her feel like she might never find her own special Daddy since many have told her that she isn't really a Little but rather pretending to be one because of her different wants and needs. When the Daddy she was originally paired with gets deployed the weekend of her stay at the Castle, Luci is instead paired with Master Gabriel. I liked this one too, it was hot. There was mention of medical play (which I confess was new to me!) and although I liked the chemistry between Gabe and Luci aka Lucky, I didn't really like the impression I got of Gabe wanting to pawn Lucky off on someone else so he could play with Stasia instead because "There were plenty who would play with her, but something about our interactions stayed with her long after we stopped." stole some of that "special" from his real leading lady, Luci. The fact that its just a HFN ending (left opened ended "I hoped it was Master Gabriel, but even if he wasn't supposed to be my forever Daddy, we could still build on our time spent this weekend, as well as the next time ...")

Izzy's Indulgence by Lesley Clark: 4 stars
A Daddy and his Little fiance take a desperately needed break from the stress of wedding planning to get back to the basics. This was a fun and cute little read. Not as long as the others but still pretty sweet. Max plans the perfect weekend for his Little and its a cute look into a happyly committed couple.

If you had the opportunity to go spend time at a top of the line, all expenses paid resort that fulfilled your lifelong fantasies, wouldn't you want to go? The six young ladies involved in the stories of Daddies of the Castle do exactly that.

I was so excited to read this book and while I enjoyed the entire thing, I'm going to share a few tidbits from my favorite tales. Before we go any further, I want to be sure you understand that this is not a Daddy book as in guys who technically become Daddys when they get the girl next door or their employee or etc. pregnant. This is an exciting and unique subset of a Dom/sub relationship known as age-play. Only adults are involved, no actual children but some subs have an inner Little that needs a Daddy (or Mommy or both) to care for them. Thus, Daddies of the Castle.

Littles can range in ages and in EDUCATING ELLA by Katie Douglass, Ella was more of a Middle Grade Little. She met Idris there at The Castle and when her roommate situation didn't workout, Idris became not only part of her school day but her roommate/Daddy too. My favorite scene was the two of them getting to know each other better and discovering how well they both could quote Shakespeare. It was quite humorous.

Another of the stories I especially loved was DARING DAISY by Rayanna Jamison and Allysa Hart. Daisy and Everett or Rett as he was known, had been having an online, long distance relationship for about a year. Meeting at the Castle was their opportunity to actually meet face to face. While they knew tons about each other, Daisy had not shared with Rett that she had gained some weight since he'd last seen a picture of her and her self-esteem due to the weight gain was really very poor. They only had a long weekend together at the Castle so neither wanted to waste time in their adult dynamic. Daisy, however, just could not get in the right headspace at first. Rett was as patient as he could be. I loved how he called her 'Flower'. Eventually he realized he'd have to push her. My favorite thing was how he handled her when she finally submitted. Her theraputic spanking was THE best. If only I'd been able to come to believe my husband and how he feels about me in a weekend. It's a great story.

My very favorite story of all, RESTORING RYLEE, was unsurprisingly written by one of my favorite authors of all time, Pepper North. Rylee was an assistant librarian in a small town who lived a sad little life. When she finally saved up the vacation time and money to go to the Castle alone, she almost didn't get off the bus, she was so emotional and terrified. Luckily she was rescued by Dallas, a big, burly Dom who had also come alone. He cuddle and protected her and immediately knew she was his Little. The Castle accomodated them both and made arrangements for them to be Daddy and Little together. Dallas (or Axel as he was known while at the Castle) did everything for his Little (known as Ruby while at the Castle) from carring her to, diapering her to doling out consequences when needed to any regression therapy she needed. When he needed to work out in the gym, she colored in the Little's Nursery where she met Karma, an adorable black kitten and her friend Cecily. As the week went on, neither could view going back to being without the other. It was all so precious and really touched my heart. I adored the HEA/HFN at the end of the story.

So if any of the above appeals to you, pick up this book and give it a read. And remember, sometimes, the only right response is, "Yes Daddy."

Awesome steamy collection of intertwined Daddy stories!

Maren Smith - Wanting Winona – When more issues are discovered as opening day of the Castle draws near and their construction company walks off the job, the owners hire outside crews to repair the issues. Win is a jack of all trades handyman and gets paired with Eric to work in the Little hall. Eric senses the little in Win and persuades her to try being a little. But Win is used to being on her own and wants her own spot in the world, so will she let Eric in?

Tabitha Black - Undoing Una – Una was to meet Kurt at the Castle to burn off the stress of her job, when she is stood up. Landon appreciates working at the Castle when he had to give up his job as a firefighter. Things seem to go well when the two get paired, until Landon issues an ultimatum to Una to not be on call 24/7 for her job. Will Una figure out what she needs most in her life?

Allysa Hart and Rayanna Jamison - Daring Daisy – Daisy and Rett have been online chatting for a year, until Rett dares Daisy to meet at the Castle. Rett lets Daisy settle into being his little, but will an overzealous little kissing Rett destroy their newfound relationship?

Pepper North - Restoring Rylee – Rylee is fearful to even get off the bus to begin her vacation at the Castle. When Dallas notices Rylee on the bus, he knows she is his little. As they spend time together, each doesn’t want their time to end, and their skillsets may miraculously provide a future for them at the Castle.

Katie Douglas - Educating Ella – Ella, a bratty, mischief maker gets paired with Idris, and together they quote Shakespeare. In the past, Ella’s war reporter job doesn’t make it easy for finding a relationship, but coincidentally Idris happens to be the owner of her media company. Can they have a happily ever after?

Delia Grace - Addi’s Adventure – Addi (Penny) is a little for Antonio and Natalie who seems to have a bad day at school until she learns her lesson. But how will the trio react to Addi being asked to go to the dance with Damien? Their dynamic is something I haven’t read ever, so enjoyed the story.

Adaline Raine - Leading Luciana – Lucky arrives at the Castle without her partner who was deployed last minute. When she gets dizzy in Wardrobe, she lands in an exam room with Doctor Gabriel checking her over. When Gabriel brings her fantasies to light, they end up being paired for the weekend. But how they feel about each other after the weekend, is what counts!

Lesley Clark - Izzy’s Indulgence – When Isabella feels neglected doing all their wedding planning, Max plans to spend a weekend at the Castle to prove he can take care of his little Izzy. Izzy struggles with her little side, but Max works her into it, such that they thoroughly enjoy their getaway weekend!

This is a collection of stories about the Castle. Yay!

Wanting Winona by Maren Smith
The castle is not done! Master Marshall calls in contractors to finish up and Winona is one of them. She is a Jane of all trades. Master Daddy Eric is entranced by her and there starts a beautiful relationship. This was a great story!

Undoing Una by Tabitha Black
Loved this story of a workaholic who comes to the Castle to unwind. She normally meets her partner there for D/s games, but he stands her up. She is assigned Master Landon, who is normally a daddy dom, by Master Marshall. Landon does a Little caretaking of her by teaching her ways to relax. There is a HEA and it's a wonderful story.

Daring Daisy by Allysa Hart and Rayanna Jamison
Daisy is a Little that has massive self esteem issues. She has been corresponding with Rett for a year and they are finally going to meet at the Castle. Rett needs to show Daisy that he will love her and be her Daddy. There is a HEA.

Restoring Rylee by Pepper North
Rylee has saved up for this vacation for a long time. She knows that she is a Little and wants to experience Little life. Dallas has been searching for his Little. When he sees Rylee, he knows she is his. This is a sweet story with a HEA.

Educating Ella by Katie Douglas
This is a Middle adventure. Ella comes to the Castle for relaxation. She likes to play tricks and that gets her canned by Master Collins. He decides that dhd needs individual attention and turns her over to Master Idris. They get along well and they have a HFN.

Addi's Adventure by Delia Grace
Addi is a Little with a Mommy and a Daddy. She wants to try being a Little in school and her parents want to be the 50's version. There is some tension, but it's a cute story of a husband and wife with a Little.

Leading Luciana by Adaline Raine
Wow! Very intense. Lucky plays with Master Gabriel who is a doctor. They have both Daddy/Little girl scenes but also medical play. There isn't a HEA for this couple, but a HFN.

Izzy's Indulgence by Lesley Clark
This one is a little different. Max and Isabella are getting married and Isabella is more than a little stressed. Max decides to go to the Castle for the three day weekend and regress Isabella to Izzy. They have their moments, but it is a great time for them both.

I’m always uber excited to ride the bus back to the Castle, even if it is still in need of a few repairs. I could not wait to get through the doors, sit through Miss Hardwick’s orientation, and get to wardrobe.... I mean an entire week, err book, of Daddies!!
UNDOING UNA BY TABITHA BLACK- Una thinks she is coming to the Castle for her regular R&R (albeit kinky R&R), and she is really looking forward to it. Little does she know plans are going to change. In his vast wisdom, Master Marshall matches new Master, Landon, to unsuspecting Una. To say she is not happy, is to understate it. But the sparks fly from the moment they meet and prove that connections can develop in the most unlikely ways and times. LOVED THIS ❤️
EDUCATING ELLA BY KATIE DOUGLAS- I really have appreciated that Ms. Douglas is an author who explores main characters of various races, ethnicities, and backgrounds. I loved the family touches, and learning about Ella and Idris’ characters. The way they got together and their dynamics are fun to watch. Idris is definitely one hot daddy!
RESTORING RYLEE BY PEPPER NORTH - This story is so sweet. Rylee is like the vulnerable girl everyone roots for. Dallas is super protective and once he sees Rylee, he sets his eyes on her and is determined never to let her go. *Sigh*
ADDI’S ADVENTURE BY DELIA GRACE - Unlike in the other stories, Addi appears immersed in her Little role more 24\7. It’s fun to see her so carefree and her daddy, Antonio is firm and caring. This story has a mommy and a daddy. Mommy/little stories are not as much my thing, but Ms. Grace did an excellent job. Definitely recommended.
IZZY’S INDULGENCE BY LESLEY GRACE - Izzy and Max are one of the only other established couples. Max brings Izzy to the Castle both to de-stress Izzy and to re-establish the power dynamics in their relationship. The story is fun, sweet, and sexy!!
LEADING LUCIANA BY ADALINE RAINE - Luciana/Lucky is at loose ends. The Dom she was supposed to meet at the Castle couldn’t make it. Now she is anxious and feels sick. In the infirmary, she meets hunky doc Gabriel. Lucky can NOT stop pushing Dr. Gabriel’s buttons, and that includes his Daddy buttons. Reading all the delightful ways Lucky gets herself into trouble is so much fun!

The book being sold is NOT the ARC I received. Two stories are missing!
I am really quite torn about reviewing this book, because the ARC I received to review is NOT the book which is currently being sold.
I've read a lot of reviews where people have reviewed the two books which are no longer included in the Anthology and others where people are saying they feel like they've read a different book from those described in the reviews, because they're not aware that if you are reading it later, then the books 'Wanting Winona' by Maren Smith and 'Daring Daisy' by Rayanna Jamison and Allysa Hart, which pop up in a lot of the original reviews have been withdrawn.
My understanding is that is that if you purchased this anthology by pre-order, or read the ARC copy, then you got the original book, where these two were included, which is where all this confusion comes from.
That aside, I do have an issue with the fact that I have read every single one of the Masters of the Castle series, a world created by Maren Smith, and I really don't know how you can have an anthology without the creator of that world in it.
Also the missing Maren Smith story, is the one which details what happens with the castle after the explosion in the previous anthology, so the fact that it isn't there leaves a lot of unanswered questions and also a certain amount of disparity, since some of the other stories make reference to issues within a story that is no longer there.
The other thing that really irks me is the swapping of the POV's. Some books are written in the first person, some in third person and I find that very poor and lacking in cohesion for an anthology with a common thread.
That aside, many of the remaining stories were well written and entertaining, but with the omitted stories, it does feel like something is missing and that gives it a bit of an unprofessional 'thrown together' vibe.

I totally enjoyed this anthology of entertaining reads filled with Daddy Doms and their littles. With a great cast of amazing characters, engaging stories, sizzling chemistry and steamy scenes, there is just so much to love about this terrific collection of reads. One of my favorites was Wanting Winona by Maren Smith. I loved Eric and Win. She was such a strong, capable woman that had overcome so much and I really liked that Eric could appreciate every facet of her. His love and care had me swooning. I also particularly enjoyed Educating Ella by Katie Douglas which was actually a middle story. This was something I had not come across before and I found it quite fresh and appealing. That being said, there are no bad stories here, so if you are a fan of heat and kink, this is a book you'll want to be sure to grab. This is my sincere, voluntary review.

Review for Maren Smith book

A new book in the Master of the Castle series and it is such a wonderful and amazing addition to the series. It has it all. Familiar faces, the castle and a new couple. It is a book that gives joy and will make you feel happy. When I read this book I was feeling really down, but reading put a smile on my face and made me forget my troubles for a while.

I just loved Winona. I loved how able and determined she was. A hard worker, but she didn’t always look after herself. Then Erik comes into her life. He spots her from the beginning and the moment he sees her dressed s a little he is gone.

Their interactions were so much fun, sweet, tender and full of sexual tension. They belonged together.

The only bad thing about the book was that it ended to soon. I wanted more.

This is a fun book to read, not quite Masters of the Castl but enjoyable nonetheless. Each relationship has a different dynamic and that not only makes for interest but also gives insight into the lifestyle. While not my thing I do enjoy reading DD/lg and I particularly liked Winona and Eric’s story. Win had overcome so much and it was nice to see someone taking care of her and allowing her to flourish. Lucky and Gabriel’s story Also spoke to me and the idea of being both a
Little and an adult in the same relationship was intriguing and not one I had read before. All in all, if you are looking for a fun, lighthearted HEA then this book is for you.

3.5/5

The story I am reviewing is Educating Ella by Katie Douglas. It was a novella in the Daddies of the Castle anthology. Ella and Idris were a good couple. Ella went to the Castle to get away for a short time from her troubles that plaguing her life right now. She has a bit of a mischievous side that will cause her to get caned and sent to Idris for personal attention. Since the story is short there is only one sex scene. I was hoping for a little more to see their relationship blossom but right now they get a HFN.

Not every one

As anthologies go, you take the good with the not so good. I loved most of the books, but one. I didn't like the ending because they went their separate ways at the end. The last book, she spent most of the book over his lap. Plus, he manipulated her to control her to comply. But I love HEAs, even with a kinky imagination! I recommend these books and authors to the kinky and the naughty. Have fun reading!

Fantastic story! Characters that will steal your heart. A storyline that keeps you on the edge of your seat and glued to your kindle! For me it was a love- hate deal as the characters face their demons. You will feel their emotions and struggles. A definite must read.

The Castle is undergoing a makeover after having survived a bombing. It appears that thanks to new construction groups that came in as a last ditch effort to get the castle up to speed was a master electrician named Winona. Eric is her Master in Charge and responsible for her actions. Win just wanted to get her job going to meet deadlines but Eric has repeatably told her not to roam the grounds alone, but she seems to have a problem with that rule. She helps identify would be sabbotage construction workers and then Master Marshall steps in and makes her an offer
she can't refuse and then Master Eric does the same. Will she take one or both offers.

Una is an accountant by trade. A very stressful job and when she comes to the Castle she becomes Nayla. She has been meeting Master Kurt for play dates but he does not show up this time. Master Marshall steps in and administers punishment due to her rudeness and then assigns her Master Landon. He is a daddy dom but can also serve in the dungeon where her likes abound. Nayla finds she is given 2 offers, will she take both or only one and which one.

Daisy is meeting her daddy Rett for the first time at the castle reopening. The wait was
definitely worth it. He proves to be the daddy she needs and their chemistry is off the
chart. Where will they go and what will they do with this chemistry?

Rylee (Ruby) has been saving for a long time to experience the castle by herself. When
she arrives at the castle by herself she becomes overwhelmed and will not get off of
the bus. While 2 masters try to determine the best way to proceed. Dallas has been
watching Rylee and he has been looking for a little for quite a while. He carries her
off the bus and the rest is history. Will they stay together? Where will they live?

Ella finds herself over head in trouble and the master of the school hands her over
to Master Idris a proper british chap and he cuts Ella no slack but they grow on
each other and they find out she is a war reporter and he is a communication mogul.
They make plans to stay in touch.

Addi (Penny Lane) finds herself in trouble with Master Emerson and she is told she
can be publicly spanked or her father can be called and he can take her. The problem
is no one can reach her father unknown to Penny he has gone to pickup her mother
from the airport. Penny goes on her own to try and find her daddy but she finds herself
in trouble again. Cindy a nemesis to Penny after hearing the sad facts of Cindy's Life she
feels sorry for her and they become friends.

Luciana(lucky) was supposed to be with another Daddy but he got deployed and Lucky
wants to do edgy medical play scenes. She is hooked up with Daddy Gabriel. They have
a rewarding time together and make plans to get back together in November.

Isabella and Max are engaged to be married. Isabella is over wrought with teaching and
wedding plans. Max was busy with work and he failed to notice her heading for a meltdown
but once she addressed it with him he decided to take control again. He takes her to the castle
for a weekend and regresses her further than she usually is. Their relationship is going to be
stronger than it ever was.

This was a wonderful age-play collection with one full length story, Maren Smith's Wanting Winona, and 7 novella's. It all takes place at the wonderful Castle BDSM, well, Castle :)

Wanting Winona by Maren Smith, 5 stars – The antics, this story, well, littles always bring the fun, but watching Eric twist, flounder, and freak out, it was AWESEOME! The prophetic words at the beginning, that he is ready for a fall don’t even cover. From the moment he sees her, he is lost. The fact he doesn’t know what to do, and keeps stepping up, and up, and up, because Littles are notorious for getting into trouble, and even ones who don’t know like Winona, to get his Little out of trouble was so much fun! Even more so was watching Winona become a Little, and Eric become her Daddy, and both of them falling in love. That epilogue, happiness defined!

Undoing Una by Tabitha Black, 4 stars – Stood up, let down, angry, and frustrated, Una, aka Nayla, is not having her return visit to the Castle going as planned. Worse, the Dungeon masochist has been assigned a Daddy Dom, and she is so not a Little. Her stress-relief vacation is not going as planned. But Landon fulfils her needs, and makes her look after herself. Small bits of Little play, and she finds herself relaxing. But things come to a head before she goes home. Home shows her what she has been missing, and she realizes she needs her Daddy more than she ever thought

Daring Daisy by Rayanna Jamison and Allysa Hart, 3 stars - Daisy and Rett met on-line and have been corresponding for sometime. He knows she can’t resist a dare, so that is how he gets her to come to the Castle for their first meet up. Pretty standard story of a girl who thinks she is overweight and has been disappointed by men before

Restoring Rylee by Pepper North, 5 stars – Rylee and Dallas were perfect from the start. I don’t know if it was Dallas’ Daddy style, or the openness and honesty of their relationship from the start, or the quiet sweetness of the two of them together, but I loved them very, very, much!

Education Ella by Katie Douglas – It had some potential for me, but ended up seeming pretentious overall. Not bad, just not my thing

Addi’s Adventure by Delia Grace, 4 stars – Addi has a mommy and a daddy, and she even gets some exploratory time. This was a wonderful story about a couple who have a little, and a little who is just as curious and rambunctious as her little age would dictate

Leading Luciana by Adaline Raine, 3 stars – a good HFN story. Lucky and Gabriel are both exploring what they want and need. Not being strangers to kink, they are exploring what they have fantasized about, and match very well in those fantasies!

Izzy’s Indulgence by Lesley Clark, 4 stars – A getaway for a Daddy and his little to re-connect before their wedding, and a furry friend to take home with them. This was the perfect blend of sexy and sweet to wrap up this collection!

Maren Smith has done another great job of writing about another Master of the castle. I love Master Eric and Win’s story. I love how Win finds herself in trouble even at the most innocent of times and how Eric recognizes the little in her. Win is trying her best to figure out what is happening to her and finding out how good it can be to have a daddy.

In Nayla and Landon’s story there are some elements of AP but not a lot. That is ok because I love the dynamic between the two. Nayla needs what Landon can give to her and he cares for her really quickly. Great story.

Daisy’s story is something I think a lot of women can empathize with. Women today have body image issues that make quite a difference in how we view ourselves. I love that Everett doesn’t seem to see anything but Daisies inner beauty and he tries so hard to get her to see her beauty as well. She makes a beautiful little too.

Rylee and Dallas’s story is so sweet. This author has captured this little scenario perfectly. Ryle is so scared and Dallas recognizes her as his right from the beginning. She couldn’t ask for a more gentle and understanding daddy. I love this little story.

Ella’s story was so strict. Not that that is a bad thing. But canines, hairbrushings, and a strict teacher Dom. This was a nice spicy story.

Addi and her mommy and daddy have some reconnecting to do at the castle and I love that Addi thinks she wants to make mischief until she realizes what the consequences will be. What a cute story.

Lucky’s story was not my favorite. I guess it was because she doesn’t really know what she wants from one moment to the next and seems to give mixed signals. The relationship she has for the weekend with Master Gabriel seems strained as well. I do like that Gabe gives her plenty of time to try to figure out what she wants and to work through her feelings which is very important. This was a harder story for me to read though.

Izzy and Max’s story was so cute. What a nice way for a busy couple for reconnect and relax before they get married. Izzy makes an adorable little and her puppy is so cute. Even though she fights it sometimes this is he stress release she needs and Max is so patient and good to her. This story was a great ending to the Daddies of the the Castles book.

Ella needs some time away from her real life. Life after divorce and dealing with her mother's outdated, pretentious views on how she should be living. So a trip to the Castle is in order. There she'll get some much needed discipline and order restored in her mind. She didn't expect to meet a proper Brit, Idris, set on forging something meaningful with her. Can Ella allow herself something real when her crazy schedule isn't really conducive to a healthy relationship?

I liked Educating Ella, but it just missed the mark a little for me. It wasn't terrible or anything, but it lacked substance and just when I thought Ella and Idris were getting into something with meat, it ended. Probably because this is just a short story meant for an anthology, but it was still too short for me to feel a strong connection between the characters. I did appreciate that Ella is Chinese, and I liked that she stood up to her mother's ridiculously outdated ideas, and I liked Idris what little I got of him, but all in all, this story is too short for me to have gotten to know them well enough. Hopefully more will be coming for these two. If so, I am interested to see where the author takes them.

What a pleasure to be back at the Castle after the bomb that nearly destroyed it! And what a way for it to reopen – the prologue is a masterful (see what I did there!) reintroduction to the Castle Masters for those of us familiar with this world and introduction to those Masters for those new to it, showcasing Marshall and Jackson at their best. And this leads to the first of the new collection of stories.
I’m going to review my favorite stories here, rather than detailing all of them, but please realize, these are addictive and well-written, so even those that haven’t made it here are going to keep you entranced!

Wanting Winona by Maren Smith herself starts the new collection again. Winona is a contractor that comes out to fix the monumental disaster left by the Castle’s original contractor (and what a twist in the tail she adds to that issue). Allocated to Eric to supervise, she discovers her hidden Little – but not without a trip to the Master of the Masters and a few run-ins with Jackson. She is both the saving grace for the Castle and the Little Eric hadn’t realized he needed.

Another favorite is Educating Ella by Katie Douglas.

Ella is a Little who gives herself a break at the Castle, needing to decompress from her life as a journalist, working in warzones. She also has a mother that tries to micromanage her life, as does Idris, a Dom that she literally bumps into as they arrive at the Castle. Bullied by her dorm mates, she takes revenge, and her punishment for that is overseen by Idris. This. Story. Ended. Too. Soon. For. Me! It’s a fabulous Castle story; it has it all plus some, and it’s incentive all on its own to own this collection!!

There are stories from Rayanna Jamison and Alyssa Hart (such an adorable Little Daisy), from Pepper North, from Tabitha Black, from Delia Grace, from Adaline Raine, and from Lesley Clark – I defy you not to find one that captivates you if this is your kink.

Educating Ella written by Katie Douglas.

Enjoyed this book very much. Ella goes to the Castle to spend the Weekend in Age Play. She needs her discipline getting her mind restored. She has gone through a divorce and is looking for just a weekend. She is paired with Idris a Dom Daddy from England. Great story. Ended too soon. She gets in trouble right away and receives her first spanking. I'll let you find out why she got a spanking. I received this book free for an honest review.

Izzy Indulgence
Isabella is so distressed with the wedding planning that she's upset that her Daddy, Max, isn't paying any attention to her. Max decides to take Isabella to the Castle and spend the weekend being as little as her can make Isabella. She becomes his little Izzy. This is little at it's best. Sure there are some spankings and discipline but all in all Izzy has a wonderful time. Max and Isabella connect again with what is important to them. This story is part of the Daddies of the Castle: A Master of the Castle Anthology by Lesley Clark. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Daring Daisy
Daisy has such a low opinion of herself that she doesn't think anyone will ever love her. She has been in a chat room talking to Evertt Novak. They met on a kinky dating site and have been talking to each other for about a year. Evertt (Rett) wants to meet with Daisy for a weekend at The Castle. She agrees and sets out to meet him for the first time in person. Daisy has put on weight and is very self conscious. Rett is all for making Daisy feel comfortable and happy about being with her. Daisy has finally started to call Rett "Daddy" and he is thrilled. Then there are the misunderstanding the come into play. Such a good story. Loved the little and everything that goes with it. I'll let you read the story to find out what happens. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Maren Smith and 8 other Authors have done an excellent job of writing such lovely Daddy stories, and honestly after reading them all it is really hard to just pick any, so i am going to do a review of Maren Smiths story and Katie Douglas.

Maren Smith: Wanting Winona
What a delightful story this was to read, honestly i can never get enough of this ladies stories she is a master of what she writes in my opinion. In this story the castle is getting back on track, but there have been delays after delays with the electrican. Finally he just up and goes leaving Master Marshall calling anyone else to the rescue. Winona has her own van and is excited to have been asked to do this job, but on getting there she is amongst others, other men who talk behind her back, and thats not all all the workers must dress up in costume as the clients are coming in the next day. But not long after she is there, she has been brought to Marshells office, it seems she took a photo which was a no no, then posted it on social media. Eric who is a Master, has eyes on Winona, she is a little he is sure of it, he askes to be resonsible for her. But he soon finds out that Winona is not good at following orders and Winona soon finds out what happens to little girls who dont do as they are asked.
A wonderful Daddies and littles story definately a must read.

Katie Douglas: Educating Ella

Once the bus stops she collides with someone and drops the phone, bendingi down to pick up the phone she realises its not her mother on the phone but someone else.. The British mans mother....exchanging phones they go to the orienteering. Idris is a Daddy Dom and Ella is a little, a great story.

I really enjoyed the whole collection of these stories telling of the journeys these women and their men go through in most cases, starting new relationships and finding their place in the BDSM community at the Castle.

The first story "Wanting Winona" was especially entertaining. This story is the only one that is a fully length novel, it tells where a young woman who is living out of her van doing odd jobs in the building industry. When the Masters of the Castle find that the contractors they hired were doing second rate work and basically taking longer to get the job done and with opening day in two days, there are lots of things that need to be repaired and NOW!! But they have now taken off and wont return to fix up what they messed up.
So Marshall hires a bunch of tradesmen to repair and fix up what the other contractors messed up. Winona can do everything that needs to be done, electrical, building and whatever needs doing. Her Master Carer is Eric is instantly attracted to her and helps her to keep the rules and he recognises that she is Little and helps her to bring it out. Winona gets into a lot of trouble with keeping the rules, but Eric is there to guide her and help her to fulfill her responsibilities in getting the Castle ready for opening day.

The rest of the stories were all shorter in length but in no means lacking in entertainment and heat. There are a lot of emotional barriers that are addressed in these stories and are very well written and will keep the heat going and the joy flowing. If this is the type of book you enjoy, it wont disappoint you in any way, other than there not being enough to read.

This anthology starts with a novel and continues with 7 novellas, and all are Daddy Dom/Little stories. I'm coming into this series completely new, so I don't know the characters or story arc. What I do know is that the timeline for the stories is about this one weekend, the grand reopening of the Castle following a bombing. A few of my faves in this collection-

Wanting Winona, by Maren Smith
This is the novel length story. Winona is at the Castle to provide some much-needed electrical work, and is under the supervision of Master Eric. Winona is hard-working, efficient, and so very curious about what goes on in the Castle. Master Eric soon becomes Daddy Eric but Win keeps him busy in all kinds of ways. Fun read.

Undoing Una by Tabitha Black
What happens when your Dom with Benefits stands you up? Well, for workaholic accountant Una, she gets stuck with the new Dom, Landon. Landon is a Daddy Dom, and Una trades in her Roman attire for a unicorn onesie. I loved how Landon recognised that Una needed someone to care for her, and that Una finally realised her own worth. Sweet story.

Izzy's Indulgence by Lesley Clarke
Max and Izzy's wedding preparations are taking their toll on Izzy, so a trip to the Castle is in order for a reset. Fun, quick read. Also, puppies!

I'm only an occasional reader of Daddy Dom stories, but I enjoyed this collection, which is a pretty cool introduction. I think I’m going to have to visit the Castle series to find out what came before!

I received a copy of this book. My honest review is voluntarily provided.

This is another good set of stories set in the Castle – a BDSM resort catering to every kink. This set of stories is about couples who choose to play the roles of “Daddy” and “Little,” and each of the stories introduces a different couple and the different activities they enjoy. None is really extreme, and they are all light-hearted and fun to read.

The first story, Wanting Winona, by Maren Smith, is a full length novel. It sets the tone for the book and provides the scene for the other stories. In a previous story from the series, the Castle had suffered from a bomb that had destroyed part of it. In Wanting Winona, we read about the first days of its re-opening, and the pleasure that one of the contractors, Winona, gains from a “Little” experience with one of the Doms, Eric. They are both strong and directed, and the interplay between them is fun to read.

The other stories are a lot shorter, but each introduces interesting young women and the Doms they spend time with – some of them knowing the Dom from before; others meeting them for the first time at the Castle. The stories were well written – and will be enjoyed by people who like reading stories that are about the Dom-Little kink.
