Like any love story things always start off great, but in this story, things turn bad pretty damn fast!
I must say that, I’m physically & emotionally drained from this story. I loved how Blade was so caring & understanding with Lola’s wants & needs…. Omg I loved Diablo to pieces!
I think that I truly love this new Chapter SBMC, cuz all the members seem like mix bag! They all have strong personalities…… I smile, I cried, I laugh, but most of all I really enjoy this read… I can honestly say that Erin 🔨 it

I don’t know what I read but it sure as hell wasn’t an MC.
It was a college hangout. Not a clubhouse.
Our president “hero” was either an angry drunk who likes his blade or a total mush of a boy. Not even got the sexy alpha man vibe once.
And after seeing all the other amazing reviews saying what an alpha he was, I was shook when this is what we get.
Our heroine was an abused woman with the most horrid attitude. She was either crying or mouthing off in a way that did not feel like she had fire. And her back story didn’t add up. She didn’t grow. And after what she went through she just lets the hero have her? I didn’t buy their connection or the pace their romance was set. Jesus they don’t know anything about each other. Like what was Blade’s real name?
Also you don’t say church business openly in the club with hang-arounds present.
You don’t go to lunch when someone stole a shipment & first call church the day after. That’s your MC reputation that’s at stake. And it just got hit. Badly.
And when you attack someone don’t you check you have the right one?
I just felt like this was such a joke.

All the yummy goodness of Blade in the new series of the Soulless Bastards Daytona chapter.
What a ride with this book. Erin Trego has done it again with this series. I read the whole book in one sitting and now past my bedtime but I couldn't put it down. You know one of those books that you start and you don't even realize what is going on around you or what time it is because you are so engrossed in the story... Yeah it was one of those for me. If you are like me and you love MC books then don't miss this one.
As always for her MC books it's for adults only!?

Blade is book one in the ‘’soulless bastards mc, Daytona chapter’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and action packed. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline gripping. Blade is the president of the Daytona chapter of the soulless bastards MC. He is a bit lost in life and suffers from PTSD from his navy career. When he finds a young woman beaten and dumped on the side of the road, he is determined to help her. Lola never expects to end up in the situation she did. Although Blade and the MC are helping her, she is wary of them. When feelings grow between Blade and Lola, will she finally confess her secret? Will Lola ever be safe from her ex?
The chemistry between Lola and Blade is clear to see and I liked them as a couple.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an entertaining read. I cannot wait to read more books from this series.

Outstanding read! This story is full of excitement, intrigue, alpha badasses and one man who is needing something more in his life, but isn't sure what that is. One young woman, so broken inside that it causes his blood to boil and his bloodlust to spike. The characters are so very well written and quite well defined and a bit complex.
Blade is the president of the Soulless Bastards MC and has worked hard to get his club where it is today. They all work day jobs, but it's the sideline work that has them walking the edge of good and bad. Blade owns a construction company and has a couple of his brothers working with him. It is while on their current job when they hear tires squeal and head outside to see a woman lying on the ground.
Lola has been beaten again by Ryan (her boyfriend), only this time he's done so in order to kill the baby she has growing inside of her and her as well. Only he didn't do such a good job and Blade and his brothers bring her back to the clubhouse and nurse her back to health. Little did they know, but Lola bites! Her mouth, her sass and her saying exactly what's on her mind has Blade chomping at the bit! He wants her; badly! And when these two finally come together, it's explosive and sweet and final. But there is trouble with club business and when Lola misunderstands something she overhears, her ignoring Blade has him even more on edge than before. She has him all twisted up inside and when Ryan come after her again, Blade is ready to detonate!
I absolutely loved Blade and Lola's story and cannot recommend this book, this series highly enough.

This was an awesome start to a new series. I haven't read much books from this author but I loved this one.

A Great Start to a New Series
Well, what can you say when you start the first book in its series and it turns out to be a book that gave me everything I could want in a MC genre.
Blade is a sexy bad*ss biker who happens to be the Prez of the club who has been looking for more in his life. He does get that in the form of a woman who has just been dropped off at his jobsite beaten and near death. Lola has been through so much with the controlling monster she's been with and this time she thought for sure Ryan was going to kill her.
This book was intense and moved at a fast pace keeping me reading it non-stop. It brought love and romance, hope and despair, MC business and perseverance all the while hoping this couple would get their HEA. A great start to this new series and leaves me wanting for more.

Erin Trejo gave us another story filled with action and suspense. Blade is tough, cocky and pure alpha. Being Prez of the Soulless Bastards MC, Daytona Chapter is finding himself unsatisfied and seeking more out of life. When Lola is dropped into the middle of his life things become quite interesting.
The push and pull between the two is heartbreaking and heartwarming. “I don’t know what you’re doin’ to me. I don’t know why I like havin’ you so close to me, but I do. I don’t know that I can let you go when you decide to walk away from me. “

I really loved Blade , he’s all man but gentler towards woman then the So Cal boys . He’s the pres of the Daytona chapter and he’s boys know where they stand with him. Lola is sarcastic and tough on the outside but inside she’s still a broken little girl desperate to be loved and looking for it in all the wrong places which is why she ends up in a relationship with an abusive boyfriend. Erin brings to life another great series with some interesting characters I look forward to getting to know

Intense, emotional, painful, heart aching and beautiful, Blade and Lola's story will send your emotions on an epic roller coaster ride. I enjoyed the dynamic between these two and I thought their chemistry was steamy. I found the storyline gripping and it held my attention well. This was a excellent read and an exciting start to this new series. Of my own accord I am posting a sincere review.

I received an ARC from the author and so glad I was able to get to read it early. I really enjoyed the story of Blade and Lola. Just like Erin's other books this one is full of action, suspense and a great love story. This was a great start to the new series and can't wait to read whats next.

Holy hotness overload in this read! Lola has a smart mouth and takes no shit, and Blade is the perfect man to try and tame her. These two found each other when they needed someone the most, and nope it wasn't perfect at first but holy they set my e-reader on fire.

Erin has become a queen of MC books, since I first started reading her books her writing has become better and better. One of my biggest problems with Erin's books was the editing, with typos and spelling and in the main this has been sorted (one or two typos but hey).
This is a great start to this latest chapter of Soulless Bastards and I loved the main characters whilst getting to meet other members of the MC. It never pays to be complacent with Erin though, there is no guarantee that you are going to get the HEA you were hoping for, so I have learnt (the hard way) to never anticipate and keep tissues handy. There are some tough issues that are addressed in many of Erin's books and this is no exception, domestic abuse and rape feature in this story and so if these are triggers proceed with caution.
Really enjoyed this first book in the series, it's rough and hard with a side order of romance and sexy bikers with big hearts ❤

I really enjoyed this MC story. It had definite biker action to it yet it had a lazy sexy romance feel to it as well. I felt the author gave us a storyline that many probably struggle with when your heart is in two places and you have to make a choice which is best for you. I loved the way the author handled this and gave us an outstanding read to boot.
Blade is the prez of the Soulless Bastards MC, Daytona chapter. He and his buddies formed the chapter around 10 years ago to give themselves some peace of mind after their tours in the service and to have a place to call home. But lately Blade is restless. He’s not really sure why but he starts to question the things around him. Not his MC buddies, he will always have their back and be their brother, but seemingly just things in general. Which in turn makes for a very grumpy, hard to deal with Prez.
Lola has had a rough, lonely childhood until she met Ryan at age 16. He took her in and seemed to care for her. But then he turned violent. When she tells him she’s pregnant he loses it and beats her up and dumps her on the side of the road. This just happens to be the spot Blade and his construction crew are working. Finding Lola they take her back to the clubhouse in order to help her. Lola turns out to be this sassy, no filtered woman who gives Blade and his brothers a run for their money. Her fierceness calls to Blade and his protectiveness calls to Lola. There connection is a fiery one. But what happens when trouble find the club and it links back through Lola? And what happens when Blade finds out about the baby?
2 Thumbs Up and 5 Stars for an exciting read. One I highly recommend grabbing up and getting in on the ground floor of the Daytona Chapter. You won’t regret it.
Blade is the prez of the Soulless Bastards MC, Daytona chapter. He and his buddies formed the chapter around 10 years ago to give themselves some peace of mind after their tours in the service and to have a place to call home. But lately Blade is restless. He’s not really sure why but he starts to question the things around him. Not his MC buddies, he will always have their back and be their brother, but seemingly just things in general. Which in turn makes for a very grumpy, hard to deal with Prez.
Lola has had a rough, lonely childhood until she met Ryan at age 16. He took her in and seemed to care for her. But then he turned violent. When she tells him she’s pregnant he loses it and beats her up and dumps her on the side of the road. This just happens to be the spot Blade and his construction crew are working. Finding Lola they take her back to the clubhouse in order to help her. Lola turns out to be this sassy, no filtered woman who gives Blade and his brothers a run for their money. Her fierceness calls to Blade and his protectiveness calls to Lola. There connection is a fiery one. But what happens when trouble find the club and it links back through Lola? And what happens when Blade finds out about the baby?

Abandoned by her mother with a father who didn't want her, she never felt wanted. He rescued her, gave her a roof over her head then through her away like trash. Being the president of his chapter didn't do it for him any longer, the camaraderie, brotherhood, family wasn't enough, something was missing. Left for dead on his doorstep, he takes her in and lets her heal. Somewhere along the way they become what the other needs. These Soulless B's are so much more than they seem. She sees in him what he doesn't show. He finds himself letting all his walls down just to hear her laugh, but getting her angry gets his blood to pumping. This author gives us another story of pain and anger, abuse and neglect, in the end a story of redemption and love all in one read. Her characters share their heart, soul and blood all through the pages. She makes you want better for them, the life they dreamed of, normalcy and the peace they didn't know they were chasing. Awesome emotional read.

Erin Trejo has mastered the tough as nails but soft on the inside biker character! Blade is as tough as they come but has such a big heart, so swoon worthy!
Lola is no slouch in the toughness department! She has been put through so much in her young life and she just doesn't give up. Her twisted ex boyfriend really did a number on her and no one could blame her for giving up after that, but she fought her way back. The two of these characters together have explosive chemistry! The way he takes care of her despite the sparring and bickering is so sweet.
Just as in the other books within this series, the author allows the reader to get to know more about the side characters and be pulled into their stories as well. The more I read about this group of bikers, the more I want to read! I cannot wait until the next installment!

Well, what to write? I love Erin Trejo. She has been pushing her boundaries as a writer and I find that to be so wonderful. She is known for her MC romances and this is a MC romance. Basic synopsis: Blade is the MC prez and he finds Lola near a job site beaten. He takes her to the clubhouse and eventually they fall for each other. Bottom line this was not my favorite book by this author. I seriously stopped reading multiple times and read other books before coming back to it. I just never felt a connection with the characters. I never felt the characters even had much depth or connection. I felt more connection between Lola and Diablo the dog than Lola and Blade. I felt they really didn't try to get to know each other until almost the end. There were a few action scenes but nothing major and it seems like the action and storyline just fizzled.

WOW! The Men of Soulless Bastards MC Daytona are a unique bunch that treat their women better then most clubs...

Lola told her now Ex-boyfriend that she was pregnant and he proceeded to kick the shit out of her so that she would loose the baby but Ryan makes the mistake of dropping her "dead" body on the lawn of a house...luckily for Lola some members of the Soulless Bastards were working there and they were able to help!
President Blade has nursed Lola back to health and Blade feels something for her...in the 5 mins Lola met Blade's dog Diablo she has changed him so all of Blade's training to attack to gone.
Lola is attacked again by Ryan at her new job all because is still alive! When Blade finds out about Ryan he goes in Alpha protective mode to deal with him...
