Truth Proof 3 is not only about my work as a researcher, it is about everyone who has shared their experiences with me - experiences that are often deeply personal and sometimes disturbing. I uncovered the latest of these amazing stories in 2018...and together they read like some disjointed 'carnival of the strange'. There were lights under the sea, mutilated animal carcasses, visits from men in black and even more intelligent lightforms seen over land and sea - and as yet, I knew very little about the body found in November 2017 or what kind of animal had been watching us in the darkness at Bempton Cliffs... All these things had been going on throughout the last few years; but such is the secrecy of the people involved, that no one would say a word. All I could do was gather information and watch the stories develop as events began to unfold. I knew that if I wanted to discover what was behind all this, I would be heading into a nameless 'outer nowhere', where exotic phenomena hovers on the fringes of our reality - but I had to find out for myself...
Another Truth Proof book finished in just a couple of days. Paul has a great writing style whuch seems to represent his personality; approachable, factual and inquistive.
The stories he relays are both personal and often bizarre. And yet dispite their 'high strangeness' you feel the thread of truth running through them that Paul cleverly exposes.
But the real strength of the Truth Proof books and Paul's approach to these genuine mysteries is that he attempts to pull them together into some form of narrative.
Paul never overstep the mark by 'explaining' what currently cannot be explained, but he carefully attempts, like a current day Sherlock Holmes, to tie the clues together to build a bigger picture. He doesn't see these situations and encounters as just interesting but ultimately individual encounters with no meaning outside of their having happened. No, he looks around and shows possible links. His main argument is that these 'exotic' situations and encounters, from werewolves or strange animals to UFOs to lost time to people disappearing or even dying in mysterious circumstances all take place in a relatively small geographic area. This seems to point to them being connected in a way as yet not understood.
Paul has spent many, many hours in the cold, dark and wet searching and exploring. As well as speaking to many people to bring these mysterious events to our attention. He has done this in thoughtful and meticulous way that deserves the praise this book and the others in the series have been garnering.
This latest Truth Proof 3 presents the most disturbing & multi-faceted events that just never seem to end on this Flamborough Heritage Coast and surrounding area and documents blow by blow ,unfolding events throughout 2017, 2018 until Mid 2019. Combine this with the new DVD 'Bringing Down The Light' produced by Yorkshire Researcher Paul Sinclair & Film Maker Christopher Turner and you have the most illuminating collection of REAL EXPERIENCES ever written about and filmed in the UK. Without Doubt This Book Deserves To Continue to Be Number 1 in its field and the growing international acclaim from experts in the field and those collecting this series is so well deserved. My Advice Is To Make Sure You get your Copies of both Truth Proof 3 and 'Bringing Down The Light- YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED - BUT YOU WILL BE AMAZED.......
Excellent, informative and fascinating this book brings so many unexplained and often unknown phenomena to light. The author has gone the extra mile with his painstakingly thorough documenting and investigating of the events and it highlights just how little we really know about the world around us. This is not tall tales about Little Green men it is a factual document detailing first hand events as they unfold. The author has come as close as anybody ever has to making sense of something that makes no sense at all and cemented himself as one of the worlds best researchers of this subject.
I have read all three of Paul Sinclair's Truth-Proof books, and they all contain well-written true stories of the strange. They really make you think. I like the author's writing style, he is so easy to read, and I like the fact that he joins the dots when he can, but doesn't pretend to have all the answers.
I love a good book and am now following this author to make sure I don't miss out on any future books. Highly recommended.
Another very well researched and amazing read on reports of UFO sightings, dogmen, big cats, glowing light forms and many other odd events on the Yorkshire coast from author Paul Sinclair.
I really like how the author reports the incidents of high strangeness that he researches without making any judgements or assumptions.
Once again, the stories in this book may read like the script for a horror movie, but to those who have experienced them personally, it felt very real.
Paul seems to have a great knack of making the unbelievably, believable - his writing style and investigations are there to question the reality of the unexplainable - great read great fun - will it be life changing for me - no I still have to go to work but it’s all very questionable- what do the authorities really know??
Excellent read it you have an interest in the unknown
Have read the first 3 books in this series and have purchased the 4th. We holiday every year in the areas written about in the books. I find the accounts fascinating and Paul's style of investigation and writing appealing and enjoyable.
The third in this excellent series about events of high strangeness in North Yorkshire. These books are well written and engrossing and the author has a real ability to make contact with witnesses and get them to tell their stories. Highly recommended.
My only complaint would be how the stories have been organised, early into the book he covers a detailed email discussion with a university doctor in relation to animal killings and mentioned several times about contacting them previously about wallabies. However, the events pertaining the Wallabies does not get covered until near the end of the book.
