"Gabe" (HC Heroes Series Book 4) by Donna Michaels is a fantastic read. I loved Gave and Lyndsey's story. This is a wonderful addition to the series. This story is packed with romance, passion, action, close friends, interesting and entertaining characters, military and law enforcement, and more. I loved catching up with everyone in Harland County again and can't wait to see what happens next with this wonderful cast of characters! Highly recommend to all fans of romance, military, law enforcement, and series.

"Gabe" is the fourth book in the HC Heroes series, and it is the story of Gabe Bryson and Lyndsey Heston. Gabe is a former Navy SEAL turned sheriff and Lyndsey is a vet tech and animal foster mom. Lyndsey doesn't always follow the law when she finds an animal in a bad situation, thus Gabe knows who she is and thinks of her as a PITA. Lyndsey thinks of him as stiff, and a stickler for rules. The two of them mix like oil and vinegar but that doesn't stop the crazy chemistry between the two. So when one night turns into something more, Gabe isn't real sure how to handle it. But when Lyndsey gets herself into trouble with people who have a dog fighting ring, Gabe realizes he will do whatever it takes to save her.
I loved this book, as always Donna Michaels makes the reader feel as if they are right there with the characters. Five "PITA" stars for this one and cannot wait on the next one in this series!

Gabe: I love that all of the men it the series are all former military of some type. They are all bonded as brothers. The woman that they all fall in love with are just as tough as they are. Gabe being the Sheriff is a special type of man besides being hot and has hot features. He cares a lot for the people of his town and doesn't want to see any of them hurt. He believes that he doesn't have time for a relationship because the job always comes first but he just doesn't realize that he has to find the right woman that cares just as much. Lyndsey loves animals and has had a lot of luck when it comes to relationships but she loves getting under Gabe's skin. They really are a match because of their work ethics and how they care so much. I loved the fire between them it was hot. Fantastic writing by Donna Michaels.

Gabe and Lyndsay two strong determine characters who will have you hanging in to each page. Donna Michaels is a Author who gives you a well written story, each character you understand, the journey is something you can relate too. I look forward to reading more.

I really enjoyed this book.
This is a perfect book that shows even two people who are completely opposite in every way can still have off the charts chemistry.
Gabe is ex military turned sheriff. He is a "by the books" type of guy. His whole life is about protecting and following the law. Which is why even though he is very attracted to Lyndsey, he finds her very frustrating.
Lyndsey is a type of woman that if she sees an animal being abused, she will do anything to help it...even break the law. She has a very one track mind when it comes to this and puts her in danger. I have to admire her and her beliefs but she seemed to care more about this dog that her own well being and I did have a hard time with that.
The two of them were fun to watch circling each other. They were both interested but yet fundamentally they were completely different.

I just finished reading Gabe, the 4th book in the Harland County Heroes series. I thoroughly enjoyed the story. There was enough suspense that I needed to keep to read just a little bit more until the book was done. Gabe and Lyndsey had great chemistry and I enjoyed their interactions throughout. It was nice to run into some of the other Harland County residents from previous books - always a plus in my estimation! Excellent read!

This is the first book in this series i have read, but I guarantee it won’t be the last. A feisty vet tech, Lyndsey, will do almost anything to help or save an animal. It might lead her to some dangerous encounters!

Just left me laughing and smiling most of the book!
A swoon-worthy love story with just the right amount of heat and sexiness. The characters where fabulous, really did connect with them on each level and they were just perfect for each other. Their back and forth banter is hilarious and their chemistry is electric. Just left me laughing and smiling most of the book. Only sad part is the dogs! Made me so mad that this is still happening out there and definitely made me cry. Author did it this perfectly! Love this series so much and can’t wait for more to come. Definitely pick a copy up today. Happy reading!!

Absolutely loved this book. Gabe has been the by the book lawman we all love to hate. He made his sister miserable for years and in this book he learns that things can't always go his way. He almost loses the woman he loves because of his attitude. Will he learn to bend? Donna Michaels keeps you guessing over and over throughout the book. Donna's style of writing always keeps you reading and waiting for the next book

Another amazing book from one of my favorite authors! Donna Michaels's style of writing with sexy men, fantastic storylines that keep me turning the pages, and humor sprinkled in is exactly what I love to read. I highly recommend all of her books.
