About the author

Amir Tsarfati was born in Israel and has lived there most of his life. Since fulfilling his mandatory service in the Israeli Defense Force, he has continued as a major in the IDF Reserve. Amir has been a tour guide in Israel for the last twenty years, and served as chief tour guide of Sar El Tours and CEO of Sar El Tours and Conferences. In 2001, he became founder and president of Behold Israel – a non-profit organization which provides worldwide real-time access to reliable sources of news and information about Israel from within the powerful context of Bible history and prophecy.

Amir is married to Miriam, and together they have four children. His home overlooks the valley of Megiddo (Armageddon) which is a constant reminder of the call that the Lord has placed on him to teach from the Bible what God’s plans are for the end of times.

I've been doing a lot of studying on end time events and this book looked interesting, especially since it was just published in 2020. The world is changing so fast that a book on seeing prophecy unfolding in front of us needs to be very recent. The author had many interesting and helpful things to say - and all backed up by scripture from the Bible. Tsarfati is a wonderful Jewish Christian and is very active in serving God in Israel. Being Jewish, it was interesting to read some of the end time prophecy from his perspective, and things about feast days that were insightful. This book also spoke more about the upcoming 1,000 year millennium than any book I've previously read. I felt like I learned some things that are helpful. I agreed with all his beliefs and evidence from scripture. It's pretty evident from the world we're living in today that we are indeed in the last days and the Rapture of the church is very near at hand. As Amir pointed out, we need to be busy about the Lord's work since our time is short.

Amir Tsarfati is a true Israeli and true disciple of Jesus solidly and explicitly walks the reader through scripture without convoluted interpretations, conjecture or sensationalism about end times. His writing is easy to read for new and seasoned believers alike and is so refreshing! Tsarfati gives a faithful, clear, detailed and hopeful exegesis of what Old and New Testament scriptures plainly teach about the arc of redemptive history, it's meaning and its implications for understanding current events in the end-times passages of Revelations, Thessalonians, Matthew, Peter and Corinthians. You'll finish this book feeling better equipped to understand biblical passages about the Millenium, the Second Coming of Christ, the seven Feasts of Israel, and above all, the love of Christ and his provision for salvation to anyone who calls on his name. I have a Bible college and graduate degree -- and wonder why, after all my life in the church, I've never heard the scriptures explained so plainly as Tsarfati has done. I am recommending to anyone who sincerely wants to understand the scriptures about end times from a Biblical and Israeli understanding. As soon as I finished this book, I began reading The Last Hour.

This was an easy-to-follow interpretation of the end times using real-time world events that line up with and point back to Old Testament prophecies. The author included plenty of info (ie Jewish customs) to help readers establish some context. I would say a reader needs to have some background knowledge of Revelation or needs to read Amir’s other book before reading this one. The point is that Jesus is coming back, so be ready!

Good presentation of the gospel. Amir has a uniquely Jewish view of the life and message of Jesus which is a very fascinating perspective for me coming from the west. And I ran across what is now one of my favorite quotes.

The question we need to ask is not, “can I lose my salvation?,” But “am I saved to begin with?”

Excellent observation, and a great response to that age-old question that all serious minded Christians have asked at in point or another.

Excellent explanation of God’s plan and the day fast approaching. Are you ready to stand before God? Are you trusting in the right thing? Would you jump out of an airplane without first putting on the parachute? It does you no good sitting in the seat beside you.

This book, like all that are written by Amir, was easy to read and simple to follow. I love the front cover, "An Israeli's message of warning and hope for the last days". God has clearly laid out His truth in the Bible and given men and women, like Amir Tsarfati, to lay it out for those of us who struggle sometimes putting the Bible all together. This is an excellent book that does speak of warning as well as hope for the future. We must be about our Father's business, because the time is short and the day is approaching!

In the past, I read many books about prophecy and the coming of our Lord Jesus. I’ve never come across one that seemed to be as well written as this one. The author, Amir Tsarfati, was born in Israel and lived there most of his life. The book explores in depth the Jewish festivals and how they they coincide with past, present and future events. I truly appreciated how carefully he explained these details because I got so much out of this book from his careful writing. The book was very easy to follow.

There was one thing I noticed that was different from the Bible I read. In the author’s retelling of the Parable of the Talents, Amir said that the servants each received the same amount of money. In the parable I read, each servant received a different amount according to their ability.

I don’t typically read books like this anymore, but I am very happy that I picked this one up, and I very highly recommend it. Upon researching the author, I see that he also wrote a book called The Last Hour that I plan to buy.

This is an excellent book and expository on scripture related to end-times prophecy. It was detailed in explaining all the various prophecies related to the days we live in and the coming days and years ahead, and yet it was also easy reading and not overwhelming — as to the size of the book. This is a book that I could easily recommend to friends and family who are interested in end-times prophecy but who might be overwhelmed with some other books I have read and considered. There is something especially poignant about this book being written by an Israeli who is himself a believer in Yeshua as Messiah. I have heard Amir speak in person at my church some years ago and was blessed. I highly recommend this book as well as the audiobook version of it.

Excellent book about The Day Approaching

I would highly recommend this book for you. If you are really and truly interested in where you will spend eternity this book by Amir Tsarfati! Please read it if this subjects interests you. This subject should matter to us and to everyone whom we know and love. This should shake us to our very foundation. Amir's Tsarfati's book is very Biblically based. I love the fact that Amir uses a lot of Bible references! This shows how authentic this book is based.

Reminder or warning.

Great book for both believer & nonbelievers. To the believer it's a great reminder of the joy we will share when Christ returns for his church. For the nonbelievers it's a great reminder that Jesus is the way the truth and the life and no-one can come to Father except through Him. Many will go through a time like no other unless they repent and turn to Christ for salvation. We are fast approaching a day that only the Father knows but the warning is there. Highly recommend this book!

I really enjoy this author's humorous and conversational style of writing. This book covers a lot of ground, but in a very approachable way intended for the average person (like me) and not necessarily a Bible scholar. Not everyone is going to agree with his conclusions about the meanings of various biblical passages (honestly, on some things regarding eschatology, i hold pretty loosely to the interpretation that makes the most sense, because I'm not sure anyone really knows), but I like his approach that looks at each passage with the entirety of scripture in mind.

Easy to read and understand

A very clear presentation of end times events. Amir is in a unique position to view events in the Middle East, events that we seldom hear about from our news sources. For example; I have heard neither CNN or Fox News talk about the oil and gas discoveries in Israel or the underwater pipeline to Italy.

I was both captured by Amir’s insight, and his reliable reasons for his insight, and to be honest, just a little scared! I fear we are approaching the end times, and his biblical reasoning, backed by scripture, makes a very compelling read! He’s an Israeli Jewish Christian and a pastor who lives in Jerusalem so his view of what’s going on in the world today, is very much current!

I enjoyed Amir's narration but the book was not what I expected. It wasn't a bad book but I thought it was a little elementary. It was definitely evangelistic which I thought was good since it speaks of end times. I'll probably try another book by Amir since he is a favorite teacher of mine.

Ugh. It’s pretty much the Left Behind series crammed into two hundred pages. Same theology, same phrasing, same standard “float away into the clouds” nineties-era reading of select passages. Weakly structured arguments and very little deep textual diving.
