Canadian author Lali A. Love makes her literary debut with HEART OF A WARRIOR, the first installment of a trilogy ‘based on the journeys of three incarnated Angels that have been brought together in the third-dimensional existence, to realize their Divine Feminine soul purpose. “Heart of a Warrior Angel” grabbed me from the first page with an all-too relatable tale of abuse and survival that spanned several continents. I really love books with interesting characters and fascinating backstories and this one had both in spades! Mira grows up in her father’s house in Tblisi, Georgia, the favorite daughter… a little too favored. She rebels and begins to date Dragon, and soon finds herself pregnant by him. In a battle between an overly domineering father and boyfriend, the women are caught in the middle and abused, and Mira, and her daughters Lilac and Jasmine are no exception. The young family moves to Jerusalem for a time, and then eventually immigrates to Canada. I loved the detail of this novel present in each setting, from the streets of Tblisi, to the saltwater seas of Israel, to the new family’s experiences opening a deli in Canada. Lilac’s painful childhood was so vividly cast for the reader, from sneaking into the movies to see Bambi, to needing to steal clothes to have something clean to wear, to an arranged marriage her father tries to set up when she was only sixteen. Lilac is fiercely protective of her three younger sisters, wanting to shelter them from her father’s abuse. Lilac is bright and determined, forging a future and career for herself and always thinking of her sisters and mother before herself, even as she's trapped with Dragon.

After Lilac and her mother and sisters are forced to confront their father one terrible day, and their lives change forever, Lilac begins the next stage of her spiritual journey. I loved seeing her strength and resilience as she undertook a path of self-discovery and peace and moved forward to live a beautiful and fulfilling life despite her father’s abuse.

A spiritual but a powerful story is this book by Lali A love I received the ARC from the author through @BookTasters. Once I started reading I could not put it down and finished it in a day reading quiet late into night as the story was riveting and enthralling.
Though I found it a little too much spiritual and still I couldn't resist giving 5 stars to the story of Lilac who overcomes horrific abuse from her father to the happy forgiving still sometimes traumatised woman. The story starts with Lilac ,in her twilight years, reflecting on her life so far, confronts her suppressed traumatic and abusive past and lays bare her soul and how she comes to terms and finds peace and happiness not only for herself but also for her mother and sisters who travelled the same path. Though in the start horrific abuse is described in detail, how the evil is manifested by generations of abuse and cruelty. But still this is not a story of losing to darkness and evil but enlightening tale of how the circle is broken to find salvation forms the crux
The quotes at the start of chapter, awesome cover all make for a great book.

If I only had a few words to describe 'Heart of a Warrior Angel' by Lali. A Love, I would use inspirational, hopeful, and emotional. Love has such an empathetic style of writing, that you will very quickly become invested and engaged with her troubled yet beautiful protagonist, Lilac Noble. She went through so much in the early stages in her life and they have been haunting her for so long, until she finds the courage to make a change.

This novel shows how powerful love and hope can be, how you can find the will and power to survive and make the world better for yourself and the ones you love. There are also some really interesting information on transmutation and metaphysics that isn't too heavy, but if you do need a little help with some of the scientific themes there is a glossary in the back to help you out...I used it a few times.

An otherworldly novel that has an interesting narrative and a great cast of characters. Certainly worth a read if you are looking for something a little different.

Story a traumatized family where girls are brutalized by their father. Horrific details of how the torture is done and why.
Like how females are able to drudge forward every day.
Do like that a few of them actually have a few good childhood memories.
Like Mafia and financial funds in the book, quite the combination.
Energy, spiritual emotions and other realms all have a part in this book. A bit above my level of understanding but a good story.
Love the glossary at the end, so resourceful and helps you really understand it all.
Others works are also cited at the end. Not really my favorite genre, felt a bit in outer space or another dimension at times.

Oh my goodness! This book came out swinging with beautiful quotes that really spoke to me. “Lilac strongly believed in good and evil, the existence of a higher power, a divine energy source that surrounded all beings-a form of radiant light emanating from the goodness of human souls.” This is basically what I believe so it was awesome to see it written this way. This story pulled me in from the very beginning and I truly could not stop reading. Lilac was born in the country of Georgia to a loving mother and a terrifyingly sick and abusive father. The descriptions of the abuse he inflicts on his wife and her daughters was almost too much to read. It was described with such detail and so realistically that I couldn’t help but wonder about any truth behind these stories. It was absolutely chilling at times. I immediately fell in love with Lilac, who was born with a gift for intuition and a deep sense of protectiveness over her mother and sisters. It was amazing the lengths she went to in order to save them from abuse. As the author states, “Lilac’s fierce love for her family was resolute.” She proves this time and again and it had me in awe. Meanwhile, she’s also building a successful business. I was truly in awe of this character. So inspiring.
This story is at times beyond heart-wrenching and difficult to read but then there is so much beauty that courses throughout. The writing was honest, raw, genuine and beautiful. I would love to devour another story by Lali A. Love. Her background is so intriguing and the work she does is so interesting. I would love to read anything else she writes. This story truly made me want to continue working on healing my own pain and becoming the strongest warrior I can be. Thank you Lali A. Love!!

I could not put this book down. Lilac Noble’s story of harrowing childhood abuse caused by generations of deep social conditioning and fear is gripping and real. The reader is transported into the protagonist’s mind as she re-lives her past to uncover her family’s dark truth. But this is not a tale of despair. In an age where so many are struggling with trauma, weak mental health and a lack of connection to their inner spirit, Lilac’s story is a reminder of the resilience of family and the human heart. She finds the courage to use the intuition she had suppressed for so long and to seek her own truth—her Soul purpose.

This book is for anyone who has struggled to find meaning in their darkest moments. The main character in this story, Lilac, is an inspiration. From early childhood, Lilac has an incredibly difficult upbringing, both in and out of her family home. At a time faced by an oppression of women, her family are forced to endure a man who is dangerous, violent and degrades them. However, it is this abuse that transitions Lilac on a journey toward the light, and she finds a path enabling her to rise above her horrific past to better herself, and make a new life for her family. I absolutely loved the themes of female empowerment, of love, and of finding inner-peace that resonate throughout. I thought Lali A Love did a wonderful job of raising me up as I was reading with her well-placed and poignant quotes, and promoting a healthy dose of self-belief through her gentle spiritual guidance, and ideas on how to heal. I would recommend this book to anyone trying to overcome a difficult time, or looking for some positive advice through self-help and spiritual healing.

Heart of Warrior is a literary debut novel of Lali A. Love. The cover drew me in right away and after reading the blurb I knew I had to give this a whirl. The action is fast-paced, there’s a great plot even though much of the content can be difficult to read it is a tribute to those who have suffered and manage to struggle onward. As a debut Lali has written a great novel and from the beginning the story captured my heart. Heart of Warrior is not typical fantasy story about supernatural events and heroes, fight good with evil. It’s more than that. It’s about finding our own power and strength, the courage to discover we are stronger than we thought. Lilac is not perfect heroine but because of this she seems more real, more like one of us. Fantastic, metaphysical thriller.

I would recommend this fantasy thriller to teenagers, because it is entertaining, it has supernatural events but it contains wise messages, too. I just simply loved the sentences from people like Deepak Chopra and Dalai Lama. This novel is quite inspiring. It tells about the life of a woman, called Lilac Noble, right from her childhood. She has suffered many dramatic experiences, and has to walk through the hard road of transformation and healing. She shows resilience and strength.
Also, I think that the pictures and drawings along the book make it artistically richer. The image of the cover and the narrative style are very suitable to develop the plot. It is full of spiritual aspects, so I believe that it is an enjoyable novel.

Heart of a Warrior Angel radiates the passion and positive energy of the author Lali Love. It’s message of female empowerment and the power of goodness to defeat evil shines through.
I did feel slightly distanced from the characters - probably because of the way the story was narrated with no direct speech. However, this did make the more disturbing passages of violence and abuse easier to read.
An excellent debut novel.

Lali A Love has written a book that oozes magic on every page. The reader empathizes with Lilac very much. Despite what Lilac endures, I think this book is ultimately an uplifting tale. People often need to go through adversity to truly know their strength and ability to shine, and the women in this book are no different. The characters' struggles are real and vividly conveyed in this novel. I recommend for anyone with a mystical side.

A story of hope and belief. Light up the darkness.

This book was selected by the Writing community chat show podcast in a competition. Lali is a fan of the show and as a reward I agreed to read and review this book. The first thing to note is that I’m not much of a fantasy reader. For no other reason than I’m into horror and thriller type genres. Regardless, this story was all about believing in hope and love during dark desperate time’s. Overcoming oppression and anger for many many years and still not giving in and letting the darkness consume you. It’s a positive message for all. It was a dark read. Lots of domestic abuse. I would like to have had more dialogue from the characters yet that did not take away from the relationship I built with them.

"Heart of a Warrior Angel: From Darkness to Light" is the most recent book that I have read penned by the author Lali A Love.

The main character of the story is Lilac Nobolashvili. She had always avoided talking about her childhood memories. But now Lilac's daughters have grown up so she thought that her daughters would be able to understand her past.

Lilac is a daughter of Mira and Dragan. Dragan's family was surrounded by dark and negative energy. When Dragan met Mira, he saw it as an opportunity to start a fresh life. Soon, they got married and when Mira was sixteen, Lilac was born. Dragan abandoned her family and returned to them after 2 years. Dragan physically harmed Lilac. It is heartbreaking to read about Dragan's temper and outbursts.

If you enjoy reading supernatural thrillers then don't miss to get your hands on this amazing book. Lali's storytelling skills are amazing. The story is gripping and it teaches readers about self-love, self-discovery, self-healing, etc. Cover photo of the book is well designed. I loved every bit of this book. I like to strongly recommend it to my fellow readers.

Impressive read in the genre of Fantasy, Familial and Angels. The book drew me in from the artistic book cover to the very last page. There are many additional inclusions in this twelve chapter book that was a wise decision on the part of the Author, Lali A. Love. Combinations are of Art and poems all with significant meaning of the fiction plot.

An Angel is born with divine powers and the zest to know how the world, her world operates, none such world created before and the transformations of life and death, light and darkness are the most important key elements.

I appreciate when an Author develops my thoughts beyond the words on the page. I’ve become curious with the realms of spirituality and metaphysicality. Written to entertain me, the words jump off the page without pausing until completed. Still, some spiritual concepts, cause my self exploration into Kabbalah, Judaism and Buddhism. Unintentional benefit I suppose. Beyond the age of time, Angels have served as leaders to be emotional, spiritual, guide behaviors and heal. Nothing more pure than that.

What makes you “you”? How can you change and overcome?

“Heart of a Warrior Angel” by Lali A. Love is a well-written journey of discovery and transformation. It is emotional, spiritual, metaphysical, and philosophical. It’s also just good fiction, with a very poetic writing style. And even if you don’t follow the author’s spirituality or understanding of the world, you can certainly benefit from the thought-provoking questions the characters in her book present and the artistry with which she tells her story.

It’s also a very different kind of novel because it relies solely on narrative instead of dialog. It’s as if the author is telling you a story rather than letting you watch the story unfold. In most cases, that approach doesn’t work well, but in this book, for this theme, it’s a fitting change from other novels you might read.

If you enjoy character-driven stories and ruminating on the deep things of life as you read, “Heart of a Warrior Angel” will delight you.

Heart of a Warrior Angel was an inspiring read full of hope, inspiration, and the power of love.

Told from them POV of Lilac who is coming to terms with her abusive upbringing and trying to find peace after so so much suffering, this story showed that even in the darkest places light can still prevail.

Love writes a compelling story that gripped me from page one. I was fully invested in Lilac and her life. She was such a strong main character and her determination to protect her siblings from her father was so admirable.

Although at times this story did info dump a lot, I still really enjoyed it and I felt empowered after finishing it.

I loved listening to this book. It made me feel compassion for the girls because of the crap their dad did to them. I wanted to beat Dragon for the way he was. The story is well written and brings emotions out like you wouldn’t believe. The girls went through pretty much hell growing up and when they were adults after the death of their abusive father, they grew into their own. The girls and their mom got on with their lives and enjoyed it until the brother they didn't know they had showed up and was going to kill everyone because of what his abusive grandparents did to him. In the end, the brother and Lilac's love of her life lose their lives but the family goes on.

Amazing read and tears at your emotions and you go on a roller coaster. It's worth the read.

This is an intense, heartbreaking tale. Be warned.

I want to start by saying I’ve never read a book like this before, not from this genre or this storyline. Once I got into the characters I was unable to put the book down. As hard as it was to read some of the violence and abuse, I needed to know where it was going. The main character is very inspirational as she perseveres through the unthinkable.

I saw one review say they didn’t like the book because it was more telling than showing. I don’t think that was bad writing on the author’s part. I think it was purposeful. I agree to tell a good story you have to show, however, I think this book was designed for more than entertainment. Since the author didn’t leave much for the audience to infer about the characters, they are instead left to take a look at themselves and what they have and can overcome if they view things differently and search for strength within.

Toward the end of the book when there was more explaining of the spiritual awakening the character experienced I was a bit slowed down, not because I was bored, but because it was a lot to digest since I was unfamiliar with the topic.

This is an amazing and powerful read that does definitely make you think about your own self in very deep and profound ways.

Lilac our main protagonist is on a journey to overcome her past. This is not a story that glosses over hardship, traumatic events, abuse and loss. This ripped my heart from my chest, stomped on it and whilst being placed back punched me in the stomach until I felt sick. So be warned, if you are predisposed to any of the above this is not for you. 

That being said, you need to be exposed to the harsh reality of her youth in order to appreciate how she evolves and embraces her metaphysical being in order to overcome and accept that which had happened not only to herself but also her loved ones.

Now, I am going to be honest with you, again, because that is what I’m about. I have never dabbled, read or discussed the metaphysical before. Lali’s passion and knowledge for this clearly shone throughout. It was insightful and interesting to say the least. Whilst I wont deny that in places it was a bit too heavy spiritually for me personally, it becomes clear that this is essential to the story.

This was truly a heart wrenching an gripping read as described in the synopsis. Speckled with inspirational quotes and a mere hint of the paranormal. You will find yourself shocked, horrified, shouting not only in anger and frustration but also for joy.

This was a pure raw emotional read!

Heart of a Warrior Angel is a story that hooked my attention from the first page itself. Lilac is a strong female protagonist of this story. She was born in Georgia which is also the birthplace of her parents Mira and Dragan.

Dragan wasn't liked by his father-in-law Davit. When Mira was pregnant with Lilac, Dragan abandoned her. Davit was furious to know that his daughter had been abandoned by Dragan. When Lilac was born, she liked Davit. Dragan re-entered Mira's life. But Lilac didn't like her father. Whenever he tried to hold her, Lilac started crying. This made Dragan angry and he started harming his family. Later, Lilac was blessed with her sister Josephine and Violet. But her mother was worried about bringing another daughters into an abusive environment.

Read this story as Lilac undergoes the process of spiritual enlightenment to lift the darkness and shame that has obscured her youth. Plot of the story is interesting. Pace of the story is fast and I wasn't bored anytime while reading it. World building is brilliant. Lilac's character is an inspiration to others. A must read novel by fantasy lovers.

Heart of a Warrior Angel by Lali A Love is a page turner. I was intrigued to read this book after reading its title. Lilac didn't have a loving childhood. Her mother, sister and herself suffered because of her abusive father. All this abuse by her father left them with a post traumatic experience. Now, Lilac has two daughters who have grown up well. Lilac could share about her traumatic past with them now. Read this story to know will Lilac feel free of her past.

The way the characters are written made this an enjoyable read. Lilac is a character that one couldn't forget.

Fantasy fiction lovers will be delighted to read this story. It involves domestic abuse and therefore is a sensitive read. The story is well constructed. It is a story of courage, hope, love for family, determination, etc. The length of the book is appropriate. It's a worthy read. I highly appreciate the author's vast knowledge in different areas. It is well reflected in her story. Even if you are not a fan of fantasy stories, give this book a try. I am sure you would love this story.

Recently I got my hands on Lali A Love's 'Heart of a Warrior Angel'. It is a wonderful story featuring Lilac.

Lilac's father Dragan had a paternal ancestral bloodline surrounded by darkness. When Dragan married Mira, he was in love with her but Mira wasn't aware that Dragan would beat her and her daughters with a belt in later years. Her daughters had an abusive father and a traumatic childhood. Lilac has to save her mother and sisters from her cruel, demonic father. For her healing, Lilac started focusing on mindfulness.

Lilac is a warrior. She is an inspiration to others. Her character is written very beautifully. Description is strong. I felt that I was witnessing Lilac's journey through my own eyes. Cover of the book is illustrated nicely. Writing style of Lali is amazing and always impresses me. Once you start reading this book, you can't put it down. BOOK REVIEW: Heart of a Warrior Angel

In this story, Lilac had a bitter childhood. She always refrained from talking about her childhood memories to her daughters. But now, she is forty nine years old and thinks that her daughters are ready to absorb the reality of her evil past.

Lilac's life wasn't easy. Her father Dragan had given her family a very hard time. Lilac had an abusive childhood. She was beaten with a belt by her father. Lilac involved herself in healing, self-discovery, etc. It's time for her to expose the menacing secrets that have been buried in her subconscious mind. Lilac's journey won't be an easy one but her courage and love for her family drives her. She is a true warrior.

Find out for yourself what will happen next by reading this fantasy story. Lali has done a fantastic job in this book. The vocabulary used in the book is good. Storyline is unique and intriguing. It's a riveting tale that offers a perfect escape from reality to the readers. This book inspires the readers to move towards life as darkness won't be permanent.

“Heart of a Warrior Angel: From Darkness to Light” is a novel which combines fiction and spirtuality. It is the story of an amazing protagonist who faces and defeats dark and evil forces from the past to let light enter her life. Through love, family and a strong wish to live, she is able to forget her past and change her future.
The novel is very well written and pleasant to read to the point that I didn’t realize I was finishing it until I was on the last page. At the beginning of each chapter, the author introduces a motivating phrase and some advice to follow the heart and keep readers' spirits up. It was very fulfilling for me to read this story and I feel that I can easily apply its teachings to my everyday life.

I won this book from a Goodreads giveaway. I could not put the book down and the story pulled me progressively into its depths. There were times I had to stop for a moment because I became emotional at the storyline being told. I loved this book and I am so grateful Lali wrote this story. It speaks volumes to the journey I have been on for ten years now.
There is a book mentioned towards the end of the story I will check out for my journey!
I give this book 5 stars and I look forward to reading more from this author!

Deep, resonant, and spiritual.

Involving vibrational energies, astral projections and soul contracts, this book is so very unique.

The strictly narrative style gave me pause at first. It’s recounted as memories from the main character and contains no dialogue. Some nice Georgian historical bits. A very detailed trip to the Amalfi coast. This tale of generational history propelled as an oral account is deep poignant and shows true strength. The depth of the explanations is thorough, as it connects meta-physics with Astro-physics. Nice work, cool read.

Note. The decoding of Jo is a sequel despite not being listed as such. From a cursory glance it is set in the present, isn’t told as an oral history and contains dialogue. We will get to that one soon!

Heart of a Warrior Angel is definitely a unique masterpiece. Written by Lali A. Love, this thrilling and riveting novel revolves around Liliac who has to overcome some unresolved issues from her childhood so as to find light in her life and leave the darkness that is hunting her and her family behind. It’s a story of forgiveness, acceptance and compassion that has made me reflect upon my own past fears. Lali A. Love has created an amazing inspiring story that is dramatic and emotional. What I found quite interesting is the writing style that she uses which is different and original. Every young adult should read this worthwhile book. I strongly recommend it!

This was a little out of my wheel house, but WOW am I glad I picked this up. If you want a gripping tale of heroism, then look no further. You won't be able to put it down.
