This book is too cute! 😁 It is perfect for all the people in your life that love their dogs more than people! Those that pamper their pooches, dress them up, buy them furniture, and cater to their every need. I smiled most of the way through this book! I saw myself and many others in here! This is the perfect Mother's Day gift, Christmas Gift, Birthday Gift, or anytime gift! It is delightful! The art is bright and cheery and just lifts the spirits! Great job!

Dog Mom by Isabel Serna is a sweet book full of adorable pictures.
This book is packed full of cute comments about dog moms - they can be lazy, or active and meanwhile love the dogs as much as their own children. There's little icons and pictures to present the described people and their dogs, all of which are cartoon-y and fun. Their lives are portrayed from wake up to sun down, and shows the shenanigans their dogs most likely get into when these dog moms are not at home.
Dog Mom is a longer picture book, but is totally worth the read. It's sweet and silly, yet cute and adorable all at the same time. Kindergarteners and preschoolers will love the pictures and can probably relate to how much they love their puppies! They will be able to find many dog references in the pictures and maybe the older age groups can try to guess the breeds of the dogs!
I think this is a fun little book and I can hardly find a single thing wrong with it. I'd highly recommend this book for kids and parents looking for a picture book with a little more 'umph'.

Why did I relate so much to this?! Haha!
I absolutely adore this little book which is full of amazing, cute art work and style with a little bit of fun facts here and there. I simply do not have the heart to criticize such a fun read because why do I need to when it's this cute and true!
Who would have thought someone else would point out every tiny aspect of being a dogmom so accurately like this?!
Oh damn! I am already cherishing this tiny book and I am so going to reread this over and over again!

Isabel Serna’s Dog Mom: A Love Story is a fun and adorable picture book celebrating woman’s relationship with the four-legged furry love of her life. I love the cute full-colour illustrations and the funny anecdotes.
This is a fully illustrated collection of charming anecdotes exploring daily life as a dog mom. The book also features fun trivia. Did you know that people in Ancient China kept warm by putting dogs up their sleeves? Also, no two dogs’ noseprints are the same! There are also cute depictions of the different types of dog moms, certain situations before and after becoming a dog mom as well as instances of ‘you know you’re a crazy dog mom when’, and famous dog stars.
This is such a cute, heartwarming, and relatable book! Serna wonderfully captures the special relationship between a woman and her beloved pup. The art style is soft and adorable. I absolutely love the cheerfully bright and colourful full-page illustrations. I adore all the lovely little details in the pictures. There are a variety of different dog breeds whose sweet faces are crafted with distinct personalities. Other things like the depictions of the different items in dog moms’ pantry shelves as well as the doggie decals on the dog moms’ clothes are nice touches which really brings the art to life.
I also love the diversity of the dog moms. There is a range of skin-tones: light and dark-skinned dog moms as well as hijab-wearing moms. There are also several different hair types, body types, and even some dog moms sporting tattoos.
But, I’m not the biggest fan of some of the typography. Although the lettering is cute and suits the fun nature of the book, it is sometimes a little difficult to read. I really wish it was clearer.

I received this book from Netgalley in exchange of an honest review.
I don’t have a dog myself, but I do love them a lot and maybe one day would like one. So I decided this would be a nice book to try out. Plus, in these times of Corona (writing this in March) I could use some fun and humorous books to make me smile and laugh. Not to mention that cover looks so cute.
I loved all the things we saw in this book that told you if you are a dog mom. There are types of Dog Mom (which one are you, the selfie mom? The social mom? or maybe a fun combo?), signs, charts, cute illustrations that will brightening your life, petting techniques, facts, You Know You are a Dog Mom when..’s, and much much more! This book will definitely brighten any day and will have you laugh. And despite not having a dog I could agree on many of the points. Yes, why yes, I would so do that in a heartbeat. 😛
My I want a dog in my life level just went up quite a bit. Haha, this book was just too adorable, too fun, and I love how colourful and cute everything was. I would recommend it to all looking for a fun and happy book! Dog owner or not!

This book will be published on 1st September and would be a fantastic gift for any dog mom you know. This was a sweet, heart warming book and gets a fur covered 5 stars from me and my furry babies! ;-)

If you have ever had a dog companion, you will relate to "Dog Mom". This book depicts the common quirks of a dog parent, with colorful and charming art that would look good on your walls or on a shirt. Made with love, and recommended for all fellow dog moms and dads. 3.5 of 5 stars.

‘Dog mom’ is zo’n boek waarvan ik meteen wist dat dit een schot in de roos zou zijn voor mij als echte dog mom. Ben je benieuwd wat ik van dit kleurrijke en vooral schattige boekje vond? Lees dan hieronder mijn recensie.
'Dog mom' van Isabel Serna schetst situaties die iedere dog mom herkent. Van hondenhaar op je kleding tot een verjaardagsfeestje voor je hond. Hartverwarmende en soms toch ook grappige situaties komen voorbij. Want echt, voor mij als dog mom klopt zo'n 95% van dit boekje. De illustraties zijn heel mooi en passen helemaal bij de situaties. Er zijn veel kleuren gebruikt, maar toch is alles een mooi geheel. Er zijn veel verschillende rassen honden getekend en de omgeving is vrolijk opgevuld. Heerlijk kleurrijke pagina’s zonder ook maar een hoekje wit.
Dit boekje maakt je vanaf begin tot eind lekker vrolijk en is heerlijk om van te genieten. Ik zal het zeker nog eens openslaan en opnieuw genieten van de mooie tekeningen en de lieve sfeer van dit boekje. Wanneer je dit boekje openslaat, ben je gegarandeerd opgevrolijkt.
Mijn favoriete pagina uit dit boek was toch die van het verjaardagsfeestje. Op deze bladzijde zie je de diversiteit aan soorten honden en de kleuren, wat toch een mooi en vooral schattig geheel maakt. (Je ziet deze pagina op onderstaande foto.)

Thus is a cute collection of illustrations on sometimes over the top dog mom moments. Would be a good gift for a dog obsessed woman or would be a perfect book for a vet clinic waiting room.

Confession: Dog Mom here! This cute little illustrated book just my heart smile, as I finished it in one sitting with my dogs beside me. The illustrations were bright, colorful and gorgeous. The book is full of fun facts and quotes too. Dog Mom will make the perfect gift for new dog moms or dog moms that have had dogs forever. I have a few friends in mind that I will be gifting this to.

This was the cutest book ever! Of course I'm a dog mom, and dogs are the cutest creatures on earth, it was impossible not love the phrases and drawings created in this book. Isabel Serna's drawing style is really cool. I absolutely loved every single page. I think this book is a cute and fun gift to give to someone that considers herself a dog mom! I will definetely buy a copy for myself.

Dog Mom, written by Isabel Serna is a beautifully illustrated how to love and care for your dog guide. Just a cute quick read for kids and adults alike! Illustrations were bang on, beautiful and put a smile on my face!

This was the cutest thing ever! I was grinning the whole time I read it. It’s definitely catered to a specific audience, but it is so great. I really enjoyed reading the blurbs on each page and looking at the illustrations. Maybe you have to be a dog mom to enjoy this book, but for me it was great. So relevant and so true. ❤️ This would make a great gift for your dog-loving friends.

I am the proud momma of a sweet little rescue pup - I knew I was going to love this book but it exceeded my expectations! It's a quick little book full of the loveliest drawings (they should be sold as prints, cards and calendars)! I can;t wait to gift this to several of my friends!

Quick cute read about a dog mom and her love for her fur baby. The colorful pages, insightful quotes and cute drawings are the perfect gift for the dog lovers in your life. I want to buy this book for myself and every other crazy dog mom out there! I loved it and found myself agreeing with every anecdote. The art is beautiful and inclusive, I really really loved this cute little book.
