Hawk is such an amazing read you won’t want to put the book down. It’s sizzling hot and sexy. He is an alpha male, one of the Masters in the Castle Sin along with his cousins. He’s very observant, powerful, caring, and supportive.
Savannah arrives and there is an attraction between the two of them. But until she can open herself up and reveal her secrets and release the demons that are holding her back he doesn’t know if there is a future for them. It takes Hawk to use his powers of persuasion to convince Savannah he will protect her as he encourages her to trust in him. He wants her to be his submissive and she agrees and wears his collar.
This story is one of heartbreak and betrayal, but it’s heartwarming and emotional, full of romance and love. The author draws you into her story from the very beginning and holds you in her hand as she takes you through each chapter till the end. You will fall in love with the characters and feel so many of the emotions, because it is so intense. It is absolutely amazing. I love this authors writing and I am sure you will too. ❤️❤️

I am loving these Castle Sin stories.
Hawk and Savannah feel the pull off attraction, but both have demons and past circumstances that keep them at a distance.
Savannah's secrets are brutal and she feels ashamed of what was done to her. Can she overcome those fears and face them head on?
Hawk's history prevents him from committing to someone, he fears disappointment.
Linzi, this series is absolutely wonderful to read! And that wax scene, oh my, I think I was actually panting.

I loved the first book of the series and have sworn that Stone would remain my favourite character from Linzi in all of her books. BUT... I can admit when she delivers a Dom just as fascinating, broken inside and yet, with the caring-protecting and presence just as strong as Stone was, which makes it a tie for me. Tbh, this story was full of emotion and heartbreaking, all sewed in prose and the incredible, unique pen Linzi has. The chemistry, the connection between Savvy and Hawk was almost pouring from the page and the journey was intense, as it is always the case with Linzi. This series is amazing so far, strong and will probably be my favourite from Linzi so far. Steamy, yet emotional. The bonds and connections between ALL characters is fantastic and again, I can say that Linzi had made go through an array of emotions. She can make me go from pissed off (never said her Doms were easy because they are definitely not) and in a nano second, bring the emotions to a level I can feel it in my throat. Honestly, this one in particular, had gotten to me more than any of her other books. Because... well, Savvy. I wont say more but that character is special for me. Her baggage and past (when we finally get answers) hit home solidly for me.
Again a perfect score for Linzi. Those five stars are well earned. This book might be my favourite from this series and I loved Stone a lot. That says a lot.

In book two, we have Master Hawk, one of the strongest of the seven Masters and Savannah, a woman with many complicated, heart breaking stories behind her mysterious past. Can Savvy find the strength to reveal her past to Hawk so he can help her break through the secrets and start to heal? Savvy is being threatened but she has integrity even though her guilt is making her hide her shame from those that could help her through the many complications that keep her silent. I loved Hawk, he was understanding and usually patient, but he has memories that torture him too. The path to understanding is a rough one but I think they have what it takes to work things out. Another winning addition to the Castle Sin series of Masters at the Castle and I can't wait to meet the next Master and his sub.

If you think the first book in the series was great, get strapped in for an even more emotional and suspenseful ride. This book brought me to my knees with the tension, and to tears with the strength of the emotional connection between Hawk and Savvy. So many ups and downs, from the highs of love and sizzling chemistry to the lows of despair where it doesn’t seem there is a way out. This author expertly draws the reader into a tale that captivates all the senses, and I’m left gasping for breath and sitting on the edge of my seat to see where she takes us next.

Enthralling from beginning to end.
What a marvelous & truly enjoyable book this was for this reader.
Why?
Because Ms Basset is one of the truly best writers (IMO) out there. I know every time I read one of her books I am going to be smoothly, completely, effortlessly immersed in the plot, the locale & most importantly: her characters. For me (& I am a lifelong reader who has read literally thousands & thousands of books), I find myself almost immediately so drawn into her story I am no longer aware of words on a page. I am perfectly surrounded by her story, feeling the emotions of characters I CARE about, characters that intrigue me, ones I am seriously INVESTED in. That I root for, that I want to have a HEA, together, if at all possible.
That for me is the wonder & magic of an excellent writer, one who takes you out of your reality & into their written universe.
And, once again, Ms. Basset does this in HAWK for her readers.
There are secrets, traumas (past & present), triggers, betrayal, heartache, danger & intrigue. But there is also sizzling steam, loyalty, bravery, intense heartwarming romance & love. Two people damaged by their pasts & afraid of their potential future, trying to override their hearts with logic & reason. Trying to sort truth from secrets & overcome misunderstanding & misconceptions.
There are a plethora of Alpha Masters in Castle Sin but Master Hawk is the focus of this book, & he is a wonder: intuitive, intensely observant, decisive, powerful & intimidating, but caring, supportive & nurturing. My heart ached for his past that caused shields to limit his potential for happiness & healing in his present & future.
And Savannah is the submissive that Hawk is focused on like the spirit animal that is his Dom name. She is beautiful, traumatized beyond even her knowledge, ready to shatter but for the peace, comfort & safety she feels within the structure of Castle Sin & the training of the Masters therein, especially Master Hawk.
For the reader who wants to be immersed, swirled into, become a part of a superbly written story, look no further than this one. I loved it & look forward to the next book by Ms. Basset with GREAT anticipation & excitement.

After reading Stone and meeting Hawk, I hoped his story would be next, and it was and it is phenomenal! Hawk has had some tragedy in his past and isn't looking for love. He is a Master and is only looking for pleasure. Until Savannah enters the picture. While he is enthralled with her, he is very wary. She has done some things he is not happy about and isn't sure she could be someone he would share his life with. But would his mind change once he finds out about her past?? Savannah is a strong woman with demons in her past that she keeps locked inside her mind, afraid and ashamed. When she meets Hawk, can he be the one to free her from her own mind? Can these two people build on a relationship? What I love about this series is that it isn't just about lust and love, it has intrigue and mystery and just keeps you riveted to the pages. This author has truly outdone herself with his second book in the series and I can't wait to read the next one. She makes you fall in love with these characters, feel their emotions deep in your soul and you won't want to put the book down until the very last word. It is just that incredible!

OMG! FREAKING AMAZING!
WOW! Hawk was so amazingly good. His story is packed full with action, suspense, intrigue and a whole lot of very hot panty melting moments. Hawk's story will definitely take you on an emotional rollercoaster ride. Be ready for him to pull on your heartstrings. Just like Stone, Hawk is intense and sexy. These Sinclair men are so very delicious and irresistible.
Hawk's story is not one filled with happiness. He has a very heartbreaking past and has a hard time giving his heart to anyone else. Savannah may just be what he needs to repair his broken heart. But she also has a heartbreaking past and many secrets that are hard to let go of. Savannah is a very strong woman but her demons could potentially be her downfall. Hawk is definitely the answer to getting rid of her demons and mending her soul. Together these two are incredible and have the potential to be powerful and extremely explosive in every way!
This story will hook you from the beginning and keep you fully enthralled right to the end. Hold on to your panty's ladies because there are sure to be more Sinclair books to come!!!

Savannah has much in her background that she has kept concealed. She has survived a humiliating, terrifying experience that she is not yet ready to reveal. She also has a vital part of her life that she can no longer keep hidden, because she so desperately needs help. Will she eventually be able to reveal her demons to Hawk? Perhaps he can skillfully coax her to trust him with her secrets.

Absolutely amazing story of two people who have both been hurt in their past but lucky enough find the one who completes them. Hawk is such a complicated man who is a hard Master but with a gentle, caring heart. Savannah is the woman who has so many secrets in her past that need to come to light but tries to keep them hidden.
Will she be able to open up to Hawk and keep him or will Hawk realize he’s right and this relationship will never work?
Linzi is a fabulous writer who keeps us enthralled and on the knives edge waiting and praying for everyone to have a HEA. This is a definitely a book you want to pick up and read.

Holy smokes! This book was freakin amazing. Hawk and Savannah have a attraction but neither want to act on it. Hawks ex-wife did a number on him which makes it hard to trust. Savannah has a dark secret that she can’t bring herself to talk about to anyone. Will she have the courage to open up? Or will she loose her chance at happiness with the one man who has worked his way into her heart?
Linzi pulls you in and keeps you entertained until the very last page. What are you waiting for? Castle Sin and the Sinclair’s are waiting for you....

Hawk is a man who like to keep his emotions in check, however the first time he meets Savannah he finds it hard to keep his temper in check. Their first meeting does not bode well as Savannah is drunk, and is not making things easy. However the chemistry between them is amazing, Hawk though does not want commitment as he does not wish to be let down again, and Savannah has her own demons. Can she finally open up or will it be too much for her?, emerse yourself in this emotional story you won't be able to put this book down, it was just simply amazing LOVED IT.

Just when I start wanting to smack some sense into Hawk, he makes me cry - and what the hell Savannah, open up and let someone in for heaven's sake. The tug-of-war is remarkable, you get pulled in and find yourself holding your breath for the next shoe to drop...will he, will she - just do it you shout as your read. If you haven't put it on your TBR list you should - you won't be disappointed.

Hawk & Savannah's story was enchanting. Both had demons to work through from their pasts, Savannah more so than Hawk. Their story will keep you riveted and rooting for them. This story is emotional and brought tears to my eyes on more than one occasion. Another superb book in the Castle Sin series. Now, I am ready for Master Bear!

This story about Hawk and Savannah will draw you in to see what happens, who do you trust? Are they meant to be? Can two people find their one to one another? Amazing story!!
OMG!! An awesome book that will hold your mind captive the whole way through the story. Mystery, action and suspense mixed with plenty of BDSM sexy scenes. Add in some deep love between the characters and the chemistry is explosive. I definitely recommend reading this book!!

What a delicious treat!
Ms. Basset always delivers a wonderful story. Her characters are intensely created, her story lines combine action, excitement, suspense, and fabulous kink. And she is the Mistress of creating interesting and intense discipline scenes. Each book is a rich and rewarding experience. The only problem is now I have to wait for the next and :0(

I enjoyed the plot but this author and I don't click. This is supposed to be a steamy book but it just didn't sizzle for me. I didn't like the vocabulary use in this book, I felt it took away from the story. When you can read a sentence and take out a word and it makes the sentence better, I think that's a problem.

AN ADDICTIVE and emotional book which will take its readers on a rollercoaster ride😎 I've read this baby thrice and I still can't get over Hawk and his Tulip's story (btw Tulips are my favorite flowers🌷) . Linzie never fail to surprise her readers. Expect the unexpected💙

Very well written
As all the books of Linzi Basset this one is also very well written and keeps you in tension until the end.
The bdsm scenes are not too much and there is a great story line.

Hawk is book two of the Castle Sin series of interconnected standalones. This book had me hooked and on the edge of my seat from the first page! I’m learning that romantic suspense is my cup of tea!
Savannah and Hawk both have tragic pasts. Savannah is still running from hers! I loved how Hawk knew what Savannah needed and knew when to be gentle or firm with her. I also loved that even though Savannah still carried a lot of fear from her past, she stood up to Hawk when she needed to.
This book has action, suspense, drama, secrets, revenge, heartache, angst, and spice! I was intrigued with this series and am so glad that I started it. I’m invested in all of the Sinclair cousins and can’t wait to read the rest of this series!

My favorite so far. I enjoyed watching these characters grow. I initially thought that this would be more of backstory considering Savannah had been there in the island before Peyton came in the first book. I was wrong. This story actually was very detailed and very in the present.
Still some unanswered questions but I'm definitely loving this series more than any of the others.

July 27, 2022No just not up for the committed relationship that’s open. Just have issues and again you have sex with all his cousins and he has had sex with your cousin..just can move past this. Oh and he will still be the training master and still haves sex with all trainees but he loves you. Nope done with the series

Holy heat!!! Linzi just keeps turning up the spice! The first book in this series was great, so I was eager to see how the second one could hold up to it’s predecessor- whelp, not only did it hold up, but got better! From what I hear, this series does just that- gets better and better. This plot was a web of twists, turns, and surprises! Definitely a page turner!
