This series just keeps getting better with each new book! These steamy bachelors fall for family, relationships and parenthood with absolutely no hesitation! Their stories are both HOT and swoony at the same time. I just can't get enough of the Beckett Construction Crew!!!!!

Mark and Dawn just sort of fit. They just started hanging out together right from their first meeting, and just drifted together. There was no talking about it, no discussing it. It just was. And now Dawn is starting to have feelings that she isn't sure are returned. How can she know what he's feeling? But then her life sort of goes off the rails, and everything that she counted on isn't there anymore. But Mark is. Shouldn't that count for something?

This book was .....everything. I absolutely adore Mark. He is everything a man should be, and so much more! I was absolutely swooning throughout this whole book. He and Dawn are perfect together, even when everything is so up in the air. His unwavering support was enough to bring tears to my eyes and warm feelings to my heart! It was absolutely beautiful!

I’ve read a lot of books in my lifetime. I’ve claimed a handful of favorite book boyfriends. No one has touched that list in awhile. And I’ll tell you, Ridge and Evan have always been my favorite Kaylee Ryan heroes..... and trust me, I still love them. But Mark, he’s stolen my heart one hundred percent. And moved into top book boyfriends ever spot. One of my all time book boyfriends! I love each book on the Unexpected series, don’t get me wrong. Ridge is how I found Kaylee. But that being said, Unexpected Fall blew me away. This book, just wow! I already loved Dawn and Mark. But when you read this book you won’t want it to end. My love for these two is just so much. Life is Unexpected. They roll with the punches no questions asked. I just, I’m not doing a good job explaining at all. You’ll have to read and you’ll know why Mark is my ultimate book boyfriend. Dawn is my favorite girlfriend. And this book is one of my top reads ever. Plus, we get more of every other single character we love. I can’t wait for more of these incredible characters!!

It is not the first time that I read a book from a series that was supposed to be standalone and it wasn’t!!!

This was the story of Mark and Dawn. It was very well written, full of emotions and drama.

BUT!! I had no idea how their relationship started! Shouldn’t there be an introduction? Something to let the reader know who they were and how they got together?
Then there were all of their friends (from the previous books) parading throughout the story that it became frustrating.
And Dawn endured so many hardships, and all this drama was not for me.

So, NO, this was not a standalone story. If you plan to read this one, read the previous two first if you want to enjoy the Unexpected Fall.

Racing heart. Warm tears. Butterflies. This book is EVERYTHING. I felt every word down in my soul. Marcus Adams is what every woman dreams of. Dawn Miller is the heroine we strive to be. The loyalty in this group of friends is palpable. You will feel the love long after you finish Unexpected Fall. We don’t deserve Kaylee Ryan. Each book is better than the last.

I was so nervous going into this book. I was obsessed with the first one, but the last one just missed the mark for me. And I know if i like it the chances are I will end up ugly crying while my husband looks at me like I'm crazy for a second before he wanders off to get me a cup of tea or glass of wine before hiding so I can't try to explain the whole story to him.

But it's Kendall Ryan so I had to read it and I am so glad I did. From the first page I was so involved in the story. Mark and Dawn were so gorgeous together and both were in so deep but both were looking for the right moment to have "The Chat". But of course life happened and that became the least of their problems, while leaving them both unsure exactly where they were standing with the other.

So much happened in such a short period of time to throw them both on their heads. And for a while I thought Dawn was going to be monumentally stupid. But Mark was so strong and understanding and made me feel guilty for thinking badly of (and wanting to slap) Dawn.

Catching up with the crew is always great. And I am really excited for Seth's story and his mystery lady. And seeing who's going to be the next one to add to the sexy, tattooed men holding babies club. Can't Wait!!!

This is my favorite in the series, thus far! Mark had me swooning for days!!! Really loved how he stepped up without a second thought! Such a touching story with so much tragedy, but at the same time love and support! I got choked up with tears several times, as these are possible scenarios people actually have to deal with every day.

Really looking forward to Seth’s book next in the lineup!

We all know tatted construction alpha males are hot, but Kaylee Ryan creates the ultimate alpha male with her small town Tennessee Beckett Construction Crew featured in her Unexpected Arrival series. Already having released two books in this series, Ryan has already established her alpha males that are head over heels for their lucky ladies and the babies they bare. With Unexpected Fall, Ryan establishes an unbreakable bond between friends, family and lovers.

Dawn Miller has been through the ringer with her druggie sister. Her parents have spent endless hours, time and money on trying to get her clean until the unthinkable happens causing Dawn to lean directly on Mark, her unexpected fall. Mark is that unexpected hero you didn’t see coming. Besides the fact that he is already in love with Dawn, all the heartache doesn’t deter him from being present, a rock through all the storms she faces. Mark is an exceptional book boyfriend in the way he cares, loves and fights for Dawn each step of the way. Making him, yet another one of the undeniable heros that work for Beckett Construction.

Ryan delivers a heartfelt message regarding family in this one. It’s a moving, emotional story that will resonate with readers long after they’ve read the last few pages. This crew embedded itself a little deeper in my heart with this one. I can’t wait to see what else Ryan has in store for readers with the remaining construction crew and their childhood friend Amelia. All I can say is hot, tatted, alpha men swooning over babies, beauties and love is a hard combination to resist, which is why you should just go ahead and one click this amazing series.

Unexpected Fall is the third book in the Unexpected Arrivals Series by Kaylee Ryan and it’s Mark and Dawn’s turn for their happily ever after. They’ve been friend and most recently lovers and watching all of their friends find love. Recently they’ve started hooking up and while Dawn is sure her feelings are more for Mark she’s not sure Mark feels the same.

Dawn can’t seem to catch a break, she’s had one hard fall after another and nothing seems to be going right. Mark seems to know what he wants which is  Dawn and is determined to make her see just how amazing they can be together. Mark is determined to be Dawns rock through it all and maybe they’ll just make it through the storm.

I loved getting to catch up with all of our old favorite couples from the series, and just get your tissues ready for this one because trust me you’re going to need it. Unexpected Fall was full of twists and turns, swoon worth moments, steamy scenes and some that yes will totally make you cry! I can’t wait to see who’s next to find love in the Unexpected Series!

5 Stars!

Kaylee Ryan is killing it with her Unexpected Arrival series and y'all, this one (the third standalone) might just be the BEST in this series to date. Sexy, swoony, sweet, emotional, beautiful, unputdownable... it checked off every little thing I've come to know, love, and adore when it comes to a Kaylee Ryan book.

Unexpected Fall fiercely stole my heart.... pretty early on in fact and had me racing through the pages and needing a tissue or twenty along the way. Mark and Dawn were everything I needed, everything each other needed, and their journey was perfectly penned (Kaylee is a master with her words!). These two, *GAH*, made my heart bleed and soar so many times.

I don't want to spoil a moment of them or their story in any way.... just know that every moment and every feeling was soooooo worth it.

I can't wait for the next in this amazing series and I just know that I'll be rereading again in the near future.

I highly recommend this book.

I didn't know how much I would love Dawn & Mark's story, but it turned out to be A LOT!! Other than a SOB (seemingly obligatory breakup) which annoyed me - but they always do. I DID like the timing of it, tho - if we have to have one, I want to be able to enjoy the couple for a while after they get back together, and this story does that. It made the SOB feel like what it's supposed to be - a blip in the relationship, not the whole story. Idk if that makes sense to anyone but me!

Anyway, we get LOTS of couple together time AND family (Ridge & Kendall, Tyler & Reagan, Seth, Kent, Amelia, and the kiddos (and parents). It's just such a cohesive, loving, amazing group, I love reading about them all together. I love that they make time for each other even w/ all the craziness of parenthood & drama that goes on in everyone's lives.

Dawn & Mark's love story is sweet, sexy, intense & enjoyable. I loved this story LOTS, I say again! And as ever w/ this series - looking forward to the next story (I think it's Seth's). <3

Unexpected Fall by Kaylee Ryan
“Steady as a rock, 5 stars”

Ugh, Unexpected Fall made my heart hurt! Dawn couldn’t catch a break; it was one hit after another but through it all Mark stood by her. He knew when to take charge and when to let Dawn call the shots. Then you have all secondary characters who we’ve slowly fell in love with over time who just add to the story. If you take a shot on Unexpected Fall (which I think you should) be prepared for the heartache. But Ryan pieces you back together by the last page so it’s worth it. I’m not going to say much else about Unexpected Fall because I don’t want to give anything away. Just one-click it for yourself.

Hold on to your tissues folks because you’re going to be ugly crying as much as you swoon reading this one! Dawn and Mark have such a beautiful story, but with that beauty comes A LOT of heartbreak. Kaylee Ryan had me going from a happy sighing puddle of love to sobbing my eyes out and then right back to that puddle of love with these two!
It’s clear even from the beginning the love runs deep for them, even when neither of them has admitted that fact their actions speak volumes. Especially with Mark. When life deals blows that could push people apart they just seem to pull together even more. Their emotional journey leads to one of the most beautiful HEAs I have ever read.

What a fantastic read that had me crying nearly immediately, angry at the two characters for not addressing the elephant in the room and then just in awe. I love all these characters and this story was packed full of the angst, a little heat, some heartbreak and pull it all together for an easy read that has my full attention.

Unexpected Fall is the third book in Kaylee Ryan's Unexpected Arrivals series. This book is based on Dawn and Mark's romance.

Dawn and Mark's story revolves around love, heartbreak, and learning to live again after loss. There is no denying Unexpected Fall is an emotional roller coaster and I wanted to love the hell out of this novel, but sadly it was just okay for me compared to the first two books in the series.

Mark was the main key to why I kept reading this one. I loved not only his swoony vibes but also the fact that this man truly cares. He's the type of man to wear his heart on his sleeve, not afraid to show his soft side, and not afraid to protect what's his.

Dawn, she was the reasoning for why I almost set this book to the side. I was put off by her wishy washy vibes and her insecurities. I felt as if she had a personality swap somewhere through this series. I loved her character in the first two books..... and I was betting on loving her in this one. Sadly that didn't happen.

I loved when Mark was the shoulder for Dawn to lean on, but I hated how Dawn kept pushing him away and in a way belittling him. He was her rock and even though she pushed him away, he remained standing strong and being there for her, even through distance.

Overall, this novel definitely had the emotion factor that I love, but compared to the first two books in the series it was just okay. I wanted and needed a bit more from Dawn for me to really love and connect with her character.

Mark had no problem making sure there's no arguement with his wkmn when he states something, “You’ll be with me.” His tone of voice tells me that there’s no sense in telling him otherwise... "

Mark doesn't appreciate when his woman rushes him, “don’t rush this. I’m making a memory.” His gaze roams over me... " I liked this book, I liked Mark.

Lubię wracać do tych książek, bo są leciutkie i krótkie, w sam raz na jedno popołudnie. Ale kurde, to jest tak przesłodzone i nierealne, że szok. Plus za to, że jednak miała kilka wzruszających momentów :)

I can’t get enough of this series!!! I’ve been excited to see what was going on with these two and this book did not disappoint.

I have to be honest, there was a point where the “are we, aren’t we” internal questioning grew tiresome but it was so easy to overlook that with all of the action taking place throughout the story. I was completely wrapped up in the heartbreak, the love, the shocks...all of it had me tearing through the pages. This book really put me through an emotional ringer.

These characters were fabulous. We get to see strength, resiliency, dedication, love, and so much more. I love the feeling of family you get from this series. These people may not be related by blood but they are family by choice. I can’t wait for more.

Unexpected Fall by Kaylee Ryan is book Three in the Unexpected Arrivals Series. This is the story of Marcus Adams and Dawn Miller. I have read (and Loved) the other books which these characters to mix in previous books along with this book, so it does add to your enjoyment if you too read those. But with that said you could make this a standalone book if you wish to do so. Marcus and Dawn are friends which turn into lovers. Marcus is a very good example of a book boyfriend with some alpha male characteristics. I have really enjoyed this series and hope to read more from this author.

So close to a 5-star read and I think if I didn't read book #4 Unexpected Bond which is my read of the year so far this would be a 5-star read.

Mark and Dawn's story is emotional. The start off at FWB but soon those lines are blurred and when Dawn's life implodes over and over again Mark steps up finally realizing that Dawn isn't a FWB she is the one, the one you spend a lifetime with. While Dawn wants the same, her life is a mess and since neither has admitted the depth of their own feelings that risk any chance for a HEA

Will they fight through the struggles or will they succumb? Will life destroy any chance of a HEA?

Ms Ryan I have discovered writes from the heart, giving us all the feels. I am for sure a fan.

Kaylee does it again, her books never fail to pull you in from the beginning and keep you hooked till the end! This series just keeps getting better, this is Mark and Dawns story, they are together but without the label, they are happy to just be. Dawns feelings for Mark have grown into something more but she keeps putting off having a conversation about where their relationship is going as she’s scared Incase Mark doesn’t feel or want the same things as her. Soon life throws a spanner in the works and Dawns life is changed forever, Mark is beside her when hit after hit is thrown her way, could he want the same as her??

I was hooked from the beginning and read it in one sitting, I didn’t want it to end! I loved both main characters but at times I was frustrated with Dawn and her refusal to talk to Mark about what she wanted. The hits she took, I don’t know how she was still standing at the end of the book! I loved Mark, he was so swoon worthy and adored Dawn, I don’t know how she didn’t see it. I loved catching up with the previous couples, they help to enhance the story. This was another fabulous read from this author, can’t wait to see what the author comes up with next!

Ah Mark and Dawn. The third book in this series so frustratingly sweet, heartbreaking, swoony and so much happiness for a couple who deserves it.

Mark and Dawn are seeing each other but unofficially. The unsureness between the two of them, the tip tapping of what their relationship is when everything changes for one of them. I love these two and love seeing the other guys take care of anyone in their famfriends circle. This book will probably make you tear up, make you hope, make you sad, make you happy, make you giddy for all the things. Wish so badly they would get their happily ever after ASAP. I can't wait for the rest of the guys books!!

This series deserves so much more than 5 stars. The first book left me with a sense that love can conquer over tragedy. The second book had me wiping quiet tears from my cheeks with a heart warming tale of overcoming obstacles. Than this third book in the series had me needing an entire box of Kleenex - I am talking UGLY crying, hiccups and sobs. What Dawn had to go through and the way Mark picked her up time after time was so beautifully written. Love can be devastating and love can be heartwarming and with each turn of the page the emotional roller coaster the reader travels on is a journey worth taking. I love, love, loved this book!!

I was privileged enough to receive an advanced reader copy of this book from the author for a voluntary and honest review.
Kaylee is one of my most favorite authors. Once you start a book she wrote you can't put it down. Her stories are so good that I'll wait for the next one while going back and re-reading the old ones. From the very beginning you fall in love with the characters and their story. I love how relatable the characters are and that you get to see them grow as individuals and together! It’s definitely a must read.

One breath.
One second.
One minute.
One hour, I learned to live with this UNEXPECTED FALL.

As I sit here and think more and more on Mark and Dawn's unexpected Fall, the more my heart rapidly beats, the more I fall in love with each and every word that this talented author wrote. Ryan took their world and turned it into this amazingly- profound, yet remarkable love story that beats all other love stories. Unexpected Love, gahhhh honest to goodness took me through every emotion known to mankind. I really don't think I can express enough how profound this one is. I am literally struck speechless. Ryan hit so close to home with Mark and Dawn's story, so maybe that's why it is hitting me so hard, I would prefer her endings to mine though. So here I sit with literal tears pouring down my face.

Ya know's funny, I tell my 9 year old son almost daily how books can change your life, how reading can make you empathetic and kind, how one book can make you see this crazy world in a totally different light. Most importantly, I tell him that he can live more than one life in more than one place, and Unexpected Fall just proved me right, and sometimes I forget that. I am saying right here, right now with all these emotions rolling through me, that Unexpected Fall showed me what I sometimes forget. Kaylee Ryan is why I read, and she is why I continuously come back to her one of a kind worlds, BECAUSE even though her worlds are fiction, they truly remind me that I am living.

Mark and Dawn, I just literally have no words. There is no pair, more well equipped for each other than them. Both devoted, and dedicated, with so much kindness. Ryan gave them the most well developed story-line, than I think I could have ever imagined. The support in this story was extraordinary, truly profound. I have never wanted two people together as bad as I wanted them glued together. They were made for each other. Their chemistry was out of this world both in the bedroom and out. #couplegoals I could seriously rave on and one about this. If it is not apparent yet, this is by far my favorite book this author has ever wrote, and even better - ONE OF MY TOP READS OF 2019. Okay, you're not going to get anything else out of me because if I keep going I will totally be a kill-joy and that is not who I am. I do have one suggestion though, BRING THE TISSUES!

*I RECOMMEND THIS STORY
