Great Read

Ryan does a great job of breaking success into daily actionable events that compounded can change your life. The way he writes is very conversational making the book easy to consume. G code is alright... I did get some value from the book in the sense of focus. This seems to be more of an autobiography and sales pitch to me. The author spends a ton of time selling the G code and asking the reader to take a picture of the book and posting #Gcode. This was distracting for me... I did like that the author pushed the concept that each of us has levels of growth. Each level demands different areas of focus and also comes different responsibilities.

I did not get anything new from this book and was a distracted by the authors writing style and self promotion.

Clarity is a precious gift

Before this book i was doing well. Things were trending up and then plateaued. The Gcode helped me find what was missing. It's helped my focus and is making me great instead of good. Tired of being average? Live the Gcode. The only regret you'll have is how you lived before this.

Good content and code of how to live life. I will definitely take and remember things from this book. Prose wise, this is one of the worst books I’ve ever read. 80% of this books entire content was just telling you how great the book and the plan is. It took so long to get to the actual meat of the book I almost DNFd it. But pushed through for myself and for 75hard currently.

I got some good information and a new morning routine from this book.

He writes in a way that educates but is simple so it’s easy to comprehend.

The rhetoric about being the best of the best only if you follow this code got to be a little much near the end but I get where he was coming from.

This was pretty good. Not a ton of new information for me but I appreciated the reminders. Good marketing within the book (encourage your friends to buy it, post on social media, etc)
