I’ve read a few stories from Victoria. I wasn’t sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. This is a captivating office romance that end with her becoming pregnant. She keeps this information to herself and he’s always let her know he didn’t want a relationship and always wanted to stay single. Four years later they meet again. Quite enjoyable

Overall I liked this book. Nico and Harper work together. Then right before she quits they sleep together. Then she ends up pregnant. So when she runs into him a few years later it complicates things. Especially because she refused to tell him for so long that he had a kid. Luckily it all works out in the end and they are happy.

Harper works for Nico and even though she turns down his offer, sparks fly between them. Harper leaves pregnant and now it is 4 years later Harper is moving back. Nico was happy to tell her never planned on settling down before, will he still feel that way now? Fast-paced read with loads of drama, great characters and an entertaining read. I liked it.

Breaking His Rules is the story of Harper Willow and Nico Ulrich. Harper is Nico's assistant and the sparks are flying between then. His family is determined that he should settle down and have a wife and family even though he is not interested. But he does have an idea to get them off his back......get married. Well really it is fake married and he proposes to Harper which she laughs off and says no. But to say things are awkward is the understatement so Harper ends up quitting which leads to them having a momentary very hot and sizzling affair in his office. But things don't quite go as planned. Well really it is the unplanned event that throws Harper into a tail spin which ends up with her disappearing and Nico never knowing. No fast forward 4 years and she is back on the city for an assignment, which includes Nico. They still have a majorly explosive spark that ends up bringing them together over and over again. Harper is still keeping her little sweet secret from Nico so what will happen when he finds out?
This is a secret baby story that carries the secret far into the story. I thought that the book was interesting or at least it kept my interest as I kept waiting for Harper to tell Nico or him to find out about his child. In the meantime Harper was a character that as the story went on longer, even after they kept sleeping together, I found myself having a harder time to keep liking. Really what I wanted to do was kick her in the butt and have her tell Nico. But in the end there is a HEA and all is tied up in a sweet little red bow.

Harper is Nico's personal assistant and when his family is pushing him to settle down he looks towards Harper. He orders Harper to pretend to be his fiancé and when she quits he gets a gleam in his eyes. He grabs her and does something he has wanted to do for awhile he kisses her and soon they give into temptation. Afterwards Harper is upset that she slept with him and rushes off. Nico doesn't believe she won't be back which surprises him when she doesn't come back. Now years later Harper is returning to New York for a job and is hoping the city is big enough that she won't run into Nico. However that is not the case her first day she runs into him when she goes for lunch. When she won't agree to see him Nico is upset but not going to back down from seeing her. At her new job Harper is assigned the job of interviewing Nico for a story they are going to run. Nico agrees to be interviewed because he knows she works there. Will he get his second chance with Harper? Will the secret she's kept from him tear the apart before they can get back together?
This is an amazing story once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review
In this book we meet Harper Willow and Nico Ulrich. Willow has gotten to the point she can't stand the sound of her bosses voice. She has even put a call into a head hunter to see if he can find her another job. That same day Nico proposes something she never though she would hear from him "be my fake wife to get my parents off my back". She quits on the spot quits. With that simple statement she opens the lust filled floodgates between them. Nico couldn't believe what happened that night and hasn't been able to forget it almost 4 years later. There are things Nico doesn't know but when he sees his former assistant again he knows he has to do anything within his power to get her to at least talk to him. What will happen when the secrets from that very night come out? Will there be a chance at a HEA or will this be the thing that will put the final nail in their coffin?
This is a supper hot supper amazing story by this author. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will have you wanting more and more of these characters. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

This is a romance story about one tough boss, Nico and his assistant, Harper. When Nico’s parents let him know they are coming for a visit from Russia they expect him to join them and so Nico gets an idea to ask Harper to be his fake wife and Harper has had her limit of Nico being bossy so she quits and they have one hot and heavy moment. Harper ends up pregnant and heads back to Boston to raise her baby with no word to Nico. Four years later Harper is on her feet and heads back to NY for a job and ends up working in a building around the corner from Nico’s building. Harper believes NY is big enough that she’ll never see Nico again but on her 1st day at lunch Nico sees her and he lets her know he wants only her. Harper has her reasons to keep her daughter a secret and tries to ignore Nico and his advances so when she is forced to write an article on Nico things get interesting. Harper ends up letting sharing with Nico she has a daughter and he is the father. The way Nico responds makes this one special story! Second chance to happiness. This is about Nico, Harper and Ada. Nico is your HOT Russian wealthy boss that Harper is working with but as his family is wealthy hates it when they get in their mind that he needs to settle down. He comes up with a bright idea and asks Harper, who by this time is one step closer to looking for another, to be his fake wife. She immediately thinks he is joking, but ends up quitting when she refuses as he states that it will be difficult working with him if she says no. Well one thing leads to another and they hook up in his office. She walks away and leaves for good. Time goes by and now four years later, she is back in NYC. He sees her and the story takes off. They see each other more than she would like as her new assignment involves him. He knows he has feelings for her, but could he forgive her for the secret she holds? This was a great book, love when Ada gets her happy family at the end.

I love it! The story flows well and the characters are well developed. Lots and lots of chemistry. Nico is Harper's boss. He is rude and obnoxious but there is something about him that Harper likes. When Nico asks Harper to be his fake wife for the weekend, Harper tells him no and she quits. Nico grabs her and kisses her. They end up on Nico's desk. After they are finished, Harper gets dressed and walks out.

I absolutely enjoyed this book. The storyline was very well written and all the characters were enjoyable. Nico and Harper had chemistry that was off the charts from the very first time they crossed that line. Harper left after that first time and now 4 years later she returns to New York with the hopes of proving she could be a single mom and survive, what she wasn’t expecting was running into Nico again. When they meet up again and are thrown together because of work what will happen? Will it just be about the sex, or will Harper come clean about the secret she has kept hidden from Nico for the past 4 years? Will Nico break his bachelor forever rule when he finds out about the secret Harper has been keeping.
Victoria has once again suckered me from page one with this steamy second chance romance and I feel like it’s definitely worth 5 stars.

Nico is Harper's boss and when he asks her to pretend to be his girlfriend, in an attempt to get his parent's off his back, she gets offended and words are exchanged. I personally felt they both said the things they did so that they could be together (he had and stuck to a strict rule about not being with his staff). After their activities in his office, she leaves town and finds out she is pregnant.
Fours years later, neither one has forgotten about the other, and she moves back to town. My issue with Harper is that she keeps his daughter from him for way to long, especially after they reconnect. I also felt like he forgave her too easily. Overall, their chemistry and relationship was good and I felt like they had what it took to make it. The little girl was adorable. I wouldn't mind reading a little bit more about this couple.

I thoroughly enjoyed that book. Part of the story of Harper and Nico is probably one that happened to more people than we think, except for the H being a billionaire. Nico is being pressured by his Russian family to get married and have heirs but his motto being "love them then leave them", well you get the story. His assistant, Harper is just a regular woman trying to make it in New York. The story is well written and the characters' thoughts and emotions beautifully developed by the author. The reason that I'm only giving 4 1/2 stars is that the title is misleading; so if you're looking for a dark romance, this isn't it even though some scenes are steamy, it isn't really kinky.

Harper has felt a great twist when her boss at the time ask her to be his fake fiance for his parents after the wild encore that they had in his office. Nico has always been independent even though his Russian up bringing,but the hot assistant Harper has never left his thoughts with in the three years that she has left his office. Harper might have left New York for the three years to be with her father ,and to hide a little secert from nico time will come when she will have let nico know what she has been hidding for so long. This book is a great book it has some funny part one being that Harper's brother name is toppper ,and also hot parts that you see with nico and Harper time might just be running out for Harper and that little secret she has been holding onto for three years.

I really enjoyed this story. The characters were well developed and interesting. Although I'm not a huge fan of the secret baby trope, I'm glad I read this one as I felt like I could relate to Harper's fears. Ada was so cute and I loved the way her Pop-pop and Uncle Topher were there for both her and Harper. Nico figuring out that he wanted Harper for more than what they had was interesting to watch. The reveal was a little hilarious in my opinion. I could totally see myself doing something like that. The epilogue we got was nice but I do wish there was another further down the road. Their happy ever after made me smile. I definitely recommend reading this book!

This romance story starts off with a self-centered Russian, Nico, being the boss from hell. He is verbally aggressive and hostile to his very efficient and focused personal assistant Harper. After one too many flair ups, Harper quits and the heat between these two ignites into a sexy "unprotected" encounter??? Workaholic Nico keeps chasing away staff while Harper moves home to bring their "daughter" into the world. Three years later Harper and her little girl move back and through Harper's new job she runs into Nico again. Both of them feel the spark is still there and when Nico finds out he is a father he actually becomes a better person. The story has a happy ending. Worth the read. Linda

Definitely Break the Rules
Harper and Nico definitely had this magnetic pull to each other and it was like they gravitated together. This book was very light with very few conflicts and no dramatic climax but it was hot and steamy. I loved the chemistry the characters had...sizzling!!
Though, I thought the story was good and thought it deserved a four star rating; I was disappointed with how the story unfolded! I did not like the fact that Harper only reveals her daughter to Nico in a moment of panic and not by simply telling him of her own accord. Despite my personal opinion the story was well written and easy to get into.

Little bit of spoiler maybe ..
I didn’t mind this book and was enjoying it except for 2 things when nico found out it seemed, that it went too easy considering how nico is it seems a too tamed of a reaction for his character and basically that’s it everything is all good ? After all the hype in why she didn’t want to say anything and why she held if for so long and then blah nothing happened . The other thing I didn’t like it when she called herself his little sl@t — something like that - I hate that word so prob just me :) otherwise I did enjoy the read

Oh Nico Ulrich, when will you ever learn. You run your business Ulrich Sports successfully but treating your assistants...badly. Working with Harper is just perfect...if only he realised that. Pressure from his family to marry is one thing but to propose a fake relationship with Harper is another.....now she has left but with an added bonus...a baby. Now Nico has to undo all his wrongdoing and change his lifestyle. A truly great read I enjoyed . From all points of view and a cute little girl , Ada, too

Another beautiful, emotional, hot story from Victoria Snow between Nico, Russian, strong and former boss of Harper, and Harper, a strong, independent woman who struggles with her life and what to do about her daughter. I really liked this story and every character in it. Would definitely recommend to anyone who likes Victoria Snow.

A very heart warming story! Characters are well written and interesting. Loved how Nico's parents are portrayed. I have read a few stories with a similar storyline but this is one that has some different concepts. The heat level is off the charts. The chemistry between Nico and Harper is instant and they can't be in the same room without lust in their eyes. A must read, you won't be disappointed.

Breaking His Rules by author Victoria Snow. Whirlwind start then bam it’s four years later and you won’t believe the secrets!! The chemistry is off the charts (cold shower anyone?), to hot to deny. Storyline is intriguing and engaging, being in love has never been sweeter.

Omg this was the cutest story ever. Bachelor Nico Ulrich had found the one woman who could change his life forever. He’s a dominating man, but that’s what Harper loves about him. I loved every bit of this story. A wonderful HEA!!

He was ready to settle down with the right person. He viewed her as that person. She didnt argue with him or disappoint him on the job. She actually did her job. He broke his rules for her as soon as she said the magic words. He liked her too much to not do anything.
