Excellent teacher
In my late seventies I am beginning to explore the worlds of selfexpression and color thru various paint media. I learn thru books and self teaching sites. I share much of this info with my 4 year old grandson. This book was a great find for us. Easily read and understood. Well organized. Explicit technique instruction. Excellent recommendations for around the house and purchased supplies. I highly recommend this book.

This is a wonderfully written beginner's guide to doing acrylic paint pouring.
I've followed the author's YouTube and Facebook channels (Mixed Media Girl) for a couple years now and learned a lot, but having the book is useful for being able to reference the ratios for the paint and additives.
I would recommend for anyone who is interested in trying acrylic paint pouring.,

I gave it a 5 because I was able to see and understand the different pour techniques very easily. The explanations were clear so I, as a beginner, am no longer to try this art modality. So much info. Great read.

I have been subscribed to her YouTube channel for a while, but didn’t make the connection that she was the author until I was done. I had already learned a lot from her videos, but I learned many more tips and tricks by reading the book.

The Paint Pouring Workshop... it is really like a workshop.
I liked the whole book. Easy to understand directions, tips on what to use and what not to use. Many examples of styles and ideas to try. Explains everything quickly and without watching and taking notes from different sources of information. It's a small price to pay for a full information and instruction book. Thank you for a really good book on Pour Painting.

I have been looking at the pour paintings people have been doing and love them. I am finally able to do this now that I have room. This is a very helpful and clear book. Lots of fun.

Perfect for a beginner!
This book was very thorough and well written. The instructions and "recipes" are solid and detailed, with excellent photos. I'm just starting acrylic painting , and now feel comfortable trying some of the great projects in the book. Thank you Marcy!

A Great Help for Beginners - The Paint Pouring Workshop
I could not put this book down until all read. It is a definite need for beginners. I have been painting with acrylics for about a year and looking forward to beginning my journey with paint pouring.
