"Just the place I want to take a vacation."

Becca was on a colony ship headed to a new world full of promise and possibilities... crashing on the wrong planet, with no way off is the monkey wrench her plan didn't need, and it might have impacted her attitude.

Ronan is an incredible pilot, confined to the atmosphere of a small planet, having to beg flight time in a primitive boxy bucket of bolts... but when he catches a hint of a signal, an unknown signal, it offers a glimmer of hope for returning to the stars, and true flight.

Both characters felt trapped/confined in the wrong place for interesting and different reasons, reminding of the line about how a person's attitude can alter whether a place is heaven or he'll. During the course of this story these characters shifted their focus from everything they'd lost, everything that had been taken away, to actually seeing what was around them, embracing opportunities, and looking for ways to use their skills. I loved watching that natural evolution in this characters as their adventure unfolded.

This done in one Kindle Unlimited quick read takes place, partially, in the same vicinity as the first story in the series, and while it vaguely alludes to the second, it really stands solidly on its own.

This is my favorite book in this series. The chemistry between Becca and Ronan is off the charts although Becca was fighting the attraction. Becca and Ronan were selected for a special mission. Ronan is a pilot and Becca knows many languages but doesn't like flying. When Ronan meets Becca for the first time, he knows immediately that she is his khara but he told himself he would have to take it slow. This is a story that is hard to put down and has lots of action and danger which they overcome together.

Khara

Becca and Ronan had quite an adventure. Ronan’s tenacity to protect his Khara and to get her to their destination was admirable. He’ll give her the universe if he can. And the love that developed between them is just amazing. They can be happy anywhere in the universe as long as their khara is there with them.

Ronan

He loves to fly and no one will keep him on the planet until he meets his Khana, Becca. Becca dislikes being on this planet but really is afraid of flying. They both end up on a mission to the opposite side of the planet where they found another species. Now they must survive the return home. Highly recommend this book and series

Becca is a multi language genius and is requested to fly over to a communication anomaly with Ronan. Ronan finds out she is his mate and Becca is less assured and between hostile and their fated attraction the battles ensue.

Ronan was a fighter pilot who had been stranded on Crashland after a crash. Now his role reduced him to a cargo pilot, and he longed to get back into space. But at least he was still flying! The human fliers he had to use were clumsy, slow, and cumbersome, like flying a brick. But as he started to descend, a flicker on the long-range sensors caught his attention, a faint advanced and distant signal, almost undetectable. His brother, Marak, had already warned him he was flying higher than the humans felt was safe; but he had to investigate this new signal. The flier couldn’t handle it though, and something popped, the air pressure leaving the cabin, and he had to quickly descend. Smoke filled the air as he brought it around to land. This could mean an escape from the Crashland!

His leader, Auric, was furious that the flier had been destroyed after their hard work convincing the humans that the Silver Band pilots were far better at it than humans. He told them what he found, but now wanted another flier to investigate! Auric and his human khara (mate) argued over that since he had destroyed a flier already! But he would not accept being grounded and allow another to take the glory of discovering exactly what is out there. His joy at being allowed to fly drained away as Auric told him his khara would be sending a human to accompany him!

Becca had no time for the blue-skinned aliens sharing the Joint Colony of Crashland with humans. It had been these prytheen who had shot them down, stranded them on this awful planet without hope of rescue, and now lived with them. She hated their arrogant attitude. Becca used her language skills to tell them what she thought of them, too! It surprised them that a human could curse and snarl at them in their own language!

Because Becca is the only one who speaks and understands many languages, and they don’t know what they will find, she is chosen by Captain Tamara Joyce to go along with Ronan to the other side of the planet to investigate the source of the signals he discovered. Though they do not like the idea of working together, it turns out that Becca is Ronan's soulmate! Will she get over her intense dislike of the prytheen and accept that she is Ronan’s khara? Or will she walk away?

This was an interesting story. Both main characters are opinionated and hostile to others not of their own race, so the reader won’t quickly accept them as the “good guys”. But they come across as believable and there is hope that they will find their HEA – if they don’t kill each other first! This is a story of compromise and building a relationship of understanding. It’s an overall good book. Ronan is a flier who is stranded on a planet and Becca is a human that is also stranded on the same planet due to the Prytheens shooting them down while trying to get to another planet. Ronan catches a signal coming from another part of the planet that his species as well as the humans crashed on. He wants to fly over there to see if it is someone who can help get them off the planet and home. Becca is the only person who can speak and understand many languages. So, she is forced to go along with Ronan to the other side of the planet to see who or what is sending these signals. Neither are happy with this arrangement. Both main characters are opinionated and hostile to others not of their own race, so the reader won’t quickly accept them as the “good guys”. But they come across as believable and there is hope that they will find their HEA – if they don’t kill each other first! Ronan knows instantly Becca is his Khara and will have her to himself. Ronan will do what is necessary to protect Becca. Once stuck together Becca gives into their bond of her being his mate and forms a trust in him from the rest of his kind. Becca and Ronan are not the couple you expect but they really work well together. He realizes quickly that she is the one for him, but she takes some convincing. The author does a good job of developing the characters and the relationship. It doesn't feel rushed. I really liked how supportive Ronan is of her and his desire to protect her and keep her safe. He doesn't want to take over but wants to make her feel more secure. The journey ends up being far more dangerous than expected so they must work together to survive. After many trials and tribulations, they reach their HEA.

This is the third book in the series and I very much enjoyed this one, Becca’s not a fan of the Prytheen Aliens that made them Crashland on this planet all because they wanted the supplies that they carried and the females. So now they all try and work together to make it a home till they can get of the newly named planet Crashland. Ronan is the best pilot and skilled warrior the prytheen have there a few but not as good. While test flying the humans space craft he stumbles upon a hyperspace signal and is now sent on a mission to find it but the humans want one of there own to go with him, someone who can speak many different languages that my help but Ronan doesn’t need anyone’s help until he meets Becca and straight away he knows she is his Khara or fated mate and now there are bigger problems now he must keep her safe above all else. Becca wants nothing to do with the aliens that ruined her life but Auric and his khara Captain Tamara need her on this mission and so she agrees but reluctantly. With the heat between reaching break point they become one together but there happiness is short lived with some weird aliens coming to kill them with the help from some rogue Prytheens that has killed the local Zrin people that tried too stand up against them, will the survive and make it back to there settlement in one piece. Want to know more get this book you will love it.

Ronan is a flyer and always has been. It is his love. Now he belongs to the clan of Auric and his human klara. He is out on a mission for the colony when he picks up something strange. He heads higher so he can figure out what it is. When he returns the flyer he;s in is damaged. But his news to his leaders spear a move to investigate what the signal is. To accompany him Becca, a linguist, is chosen to go with him. When he sees her for the first time, he recognizes her as his klara. Off on the mission they go where he discovers she is terrified to fly. When they get near the site, they are attacked by another of his kind. He sets the autopilot and goes out the back to grab onto the other ship and try to take it out. Meanwhile Becca has managed to land and is terrified. She spends one night alone in the ship then heads out the next day to find out who and what the buildings she;s landed among and why the signal is located here. When she is attacked by a tenger she is rescued by Ronan. From this point on life is full of more life threatening danger as well as puzzles to solve.
Another fantastic story in this series that will have you holding your breathe as you read to the end.

3 1/2 stars This story is about 2 species who crashed on a planet. Humans and Prytheen. The Prytheen were responsible for the crashes because they attacked the humans in hopes of getting desperately needed supplies. When they passed the planet some force took away power and caused both species to crash. The escape pods from both ships landed scattered across the planet. In one area the two species came together and formed a settlement. The H Ronan is an alien and the h Becca is human. His species has fated mates and the moment he sees Becca he knows it's her. On the other hand Becca hates that they crashed instead of being on the planet they were to settle and hates the aliens for it. He's given advice to go slowly so he does. Then they are given a mission together hoping to find a way off the planet. It ends up being far more dangerous than expected so they have to work together to survive. After many trials and tribulations they reach their HEA. This is a nice light read and enjoyable. There is plenty of sex, a little too much for me. However there is plenty of plot and there is plenty of adventure. Some editing issues but not bad. Overall I recommend this book.

Becca was one of the lucky ones who won the lottery to leave the dying earth and to start a new colony on Arcadia but on the way there they were attacked by blue aliens called the Prytheens who also crash landed on the planet it’s called Crashland. A truce was finally made between the humans and the Prytheens but Becca blames them for everything, she knew how to speak some of their language and acted as their translator. Now Becca was called in by her captain who says that they had found a signal and because Becca could speak a lot of alien languages so she is to go with a Prytheen to find out where and who is sending it but Becca said no way send someone else because she is petrified of flying but she had no choice. The Prytheen that they were sending with her is their best flier and it is Ronan. Ronan never wanted a Khara but when he saw the redhead human he knew that she was his mate fate must be playing a bad joke on him because his mate was human. That’s all I’m going to give you guys but this is such a fantastic story I loved it and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

This was my first time reading a book by Leslie Chase and I thoroughly enjoyed the book!!! It's the story of Ronan a Prytheen and Becca a human. Both of them are stranded on another planet with their groups after the prytheen's attacked the humans for supplies they needed. Both species come together to form a settlement. They are both going to another part of the planet on a mission to find a way off the planet. When they meet he know she is his Khara, his fated mate or soulmate. On their mission there's lots of hot and steamy romance. There are many dangers, trials and tribulations and their mission is more dangerous than they planed. I LOVED this book and you need to grab a copy to see, do they make it off the planet, do they get their HEA!!! I highly recommend this book if you love hot alpha male alien romance books!!!!

Ronan and Becca fight to survive!

Ronan and Becca are members of a Joint Colony formed after they crash landed on a inhospitable planet. Ronan was an alien while Becca was a member of a human colony ship that Ronan's people had attacked. Though they were once enemies now they were reluctant comrades trying to survive. When Ronan first met Becca he knew immediately that he had found his fated mate but it took some time for Becca to accept him as her mate. Sent on a mission together, they have to rely on one and other as hostile inhabitants of the planet attack them. This was a story full of danger and suspense as they fight to survive the rigors of a journey that saw them crash land near an ancient abandoned village. An entertaining read with a happy ending.

This was a creative, steamy, alien adventure. Not that plausibility is ever not an issue in scifi, but I thought it was a little more of an issue than normal in this book, both regarding personalities and logistics; however, that didn’t detract from the entertainment factor of the tale. Both Ronan and Becca seemed unnaturally and unnecessarily abrasive, but thankfully they got over that fairly quickly. Trust, courage, friendship, sacrifice, hope, and love were some of the underlying themes in this story. This seems like a good series, and I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next.

Ronan a highly expensived pilot doesn’t want a companion to go on a recon assignment. Until he finds out that we’re linguistics specialist is his khara. His mate. Becca is only one thing, surviving the flight. For someone who is afraid of flying, recon will not be easy. This story is action packed with alien monsters, all rivals and the weather. To make things even worse there are another species of aliens who might still be alive on the planet. How there’s a love connection without is going on is beyond me HEA, no cliffhangers and great characters.

In the third chapter of the Crashland saga, a signal has been discovered and needs to be investigated. Travel is hard, though, even with a flier because of hostile terrain, wildlife and other settlements. Ronan and Becca are chosen to go because of his superior flying skills and her abilities with languages. It's a treacherous journey, and Becca is terrified of flying. She and Ronan begin to bond after his careful handling of her fear, but then Things Happen!

This is a fast-paced, exciting story, and I can't wait for the next chapter of the Crashland Saga!

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Becca is investigating the mysterious signals that's when she seen him tall strong gorgeous alien. Ronan is a fighter pilot he hates where he is trapped, until he sees her. The chemistry between them is intense, Ronan has to have her.

An action filled alien romance. She hates flying and hates the aliens responsible for their ship crashing on the alien planet. He loves flying and so wants to be back in the stars. Not sure if it was luck or bad luck that puts them together on a mission. Both characters definitely have their issues. But when faced with danger even enemies can become more. Expect lots of flying adventure and some dangerous fighting.

Book three in the Crashland Colony Romance series a well written story that held my interest until the end. I hope there is more to come in this series.
