I have no idea how I came across this children's book and it seems it has never been translated into English, at least as far as I can find. The book has been translated into Spanish, as you can see, and the German TV program also aired in a version dubbed in Spanish so little Pumuky was somewhat well-known here in Spain. Reading this was a nice, easy break after plowing through the dense El Año del Diluvio last week.
I already knew almost all of the words on the list below, or I had looked them up before. I wasn't 100% certain about the translation or I wanted to examine the root of the word was why I wrote them all down. By the way, Gumuky is kind of a little stinker and needs to spend a few years at a military academy.
