Don Both, aka Bethy Zimmermann is 30 years old. Her parents are from Prague in the Czech Republic. At the age of 12, her class held a short story contest where she discovered her true great love -- writing. During her schooling and vocational training as a nanny, she wrote throughout the day and drew comics at the same time. At first, she created animal stories, family stories, fantasy stories ... As she grew older, her novels and male protagonists became hotter and hotter and she discovered her other great love: eroticism.
In 2010, she took the big step and went public with her novels. Through her cheeky, provocative, and extraordinary writing style, she quickly gained an enthusiastic fan base. At the time, the young woman won several competitions and prizes -- for example, "Best Fanfiction Author" and "Best Erotic Story".
At the time, her husband's health was declining and the company where she worked as a baker's assistant went bankrupt. Practically overnight, the small family became Hartz 4 recipients (Welfare, unemployment program). In dire straits, the desperate mother discovered Amazon Self-publishing and with their last money published "The unholy Book of Tristan Wrangler". It was a smash hit. What every author dreams about. It has become a bestseller that has since grown into one of the most widely read eBooks on the German market.
Since then, she and her two best friends founded A.P.P. Verlag (publisher), which includes more than 30 successful authors. In the meantime, she became acquainted with the media. Several newspapers wrote articles and she was on television.
Privately, the curvy dynamic woman is committed to animal welfare and the fight against body shaming, while trying every day to do something good. She loves yoga and resides with her cats, her super sweet German Shepherd dog, husband, and son in a small Bavarian town.

Siehe ,,After“ von Anna Todd.

Keaton and Olivia
Mason and Emilia
Caden and Carter
Ava

Mason and Emilia’s story was just the tip of the iceberg, but now the Rush family as we know are just as dark, twisted, depraved and more so dangerous than before.

Caden and Carter, there story was on point! There is no doubt that they are there father to a T.

Caden and Carter play this sick and twisted game where they set there sights on a woman who takes there fancy, they learn everything they can about her, they then insert themselves into her life, reel her in, rules applied, they share there conquests in the most sexual and primal of ways, they exude control in all things, from manipulation, to drugs, to psychological mind f@#$ing.

One of there rules: to not fall in love, doing so, forces them to cut ties, moving forward to another helpless victim, only Alayna admits to Caden that she loves him, and he reciprocates. This sets them on a path of self destruction, and when Carter hooks up with Melissa, one of there previous conquest, it goes from bad to worse.

Self sabotaging each other was evident, they hurt each other like no other, the secrets, the lies, the betrayals all lead to the inevitable, the truth, but the truth is not as all as it seems and as one they find themselves entwined with the mafia, wanting things that are forbidden to them, but making those all important sacrifices to keep those in there family, those they love safe from harm. Putting there father and grandfather in a stressful yet untenable position.

The dark themes and triggers will have you saying what the f@#$, the way it is interwoven in the story is raw, real and powerful but yet confronting. The different points of view told a telling story, these authors clearly know how to write. Such a roller coaster of emotions, a page turner, fast paced you literally will not be able to put it down. Readers will be ensnared from the get go and it will have you coming back for more. And if you thought these authors were done, they are not, so hold on as we anticipate what book two will bring us!

And those s€x scenes in and out of the bedroom were downright erotic, the language and dirty talk was filthy and such a turn on, dark, provocative, naughty, twisted, forbidden, emotional , wrong, intense, captivating, deliciously wicked, dirty, hot, steamy, passionate, possessive, powerful, wet, dominating and ferociously wild.

Man will sofort weiterlesen. Zum Glück kann ich direkt weiterlesen. Ich liebe die Reihe jetzt schon. Was für Emotionen.

3.5 ✨What i liked:

Caden and Carter’s relationship and their bond.
Carter
The narration.
The writing style.

What i didn’t like:
Having multiple plots. It felt like i read 4 books in one.
Deviation from the main storyline.
Caden relationship with his Ada. What was his role as a brother ?!?
And Mason ?! What have you became?? I expected so much more from you. Not being able to stop his kids and to prevent their actions… Didn’t you learn anything from your father?
And Keaton, WTF man?! You said don’t worry but everything got fucked up.

Honestly I would prefer if the story would stick to the way it started, with that one plot in mind. Caden, alayna, carter. Thats it. Maybe even Isabelle, but not included in all that storm.

Du bekommst richtig was für dein Geld!

Was auch nicht so häufig vorkommt: Das „break up to save him / her“-Trope hat mich in diesem Kontext sehr überzeugt.

An intense and dark mind screw of a story!

This is my first read by this duo and I am standing at the crossroads with it. Going in, I knew it was gonna be dark…I thrive for dark reads that make me question my morals. This one definitely had me questioning things, but not about myself - they were all about the cold, calculating and somewhat heartless twins named Carter and Caden Rush. This is one of the most insane mindscrews I have read in a hot minute and I wanted to love it, tried to love it but it didn’t hit all my marks. I felt as the plot was a drawn out - the authors could’ve shortened it a little and I feel if they did, the story would’ve grasped my attention a little better.
First off, it seems that the entire Rush family is a little short of a the standard twelve pack - you know, their elevators don’t go all the way to the top. That drew me in though - I wanted to dive further into their psyche. But as the story progressed, I found myself getting bored because it got a little repetitive and I could predict what was going to happen. Poor Alayna, this girl goes thru Hell - all thanks to the twins - and in the end I was rooting for her to keep the backbone she grew.
Carter and Caden really don’t have any redeeming qualities, I think that’s what killing my vibe with this book. I love the mystery and the suspense of the plot though - that’s what is keeping me toeing the line at snatching the next installment when it is released. I want to know what happens…to everyone. There are subplot questions galore that I have and I am wanting the answers to.
There are tons of triggers in the book for the more sensitive readers - manipulation, basic psychological mind screwing, cheating, violence, and more. So if you are a sensitive reader, please tread lightly.

Both Carter and Caden like playing with other people. Caden, in particular, enjoys playing with people's minds, even that of his twin brother, who comes to rely entirely on him. Both of them cultivate a monster that, as they make decisions and walk through a wholly dark and inaccessible environment, devours them and emerges to reveal their true nature. The one cannot exist without the other; the heart cannot exist without the head. Never expect true love here that is real and pure. One can expect manipulation, mental tricks, and a tonne of toxicity.
The Garden of Sins by Don Both and Maria O'Hara is a dark romance read. Every twist and turn in the tale keeps it moving along quickly, there are no dull scenes, and each moment of shock value is completely justified without leaving you feeling unsatisfied. The Italian-style mafia realm, where the plot strands are moving, is not romanticised in the least.  The characters are playing the role of the evil and they are aware of it. They don't feel guilty about it. Some of them are sadists, while others aren't. It is impossible to not love the character development inside the plot because cause each character is so unique and complex. You can entirely enter their heads and understand what or, in some cases, who is driving them to take certain actions. These authors certainly have writing skills because the various points of view told a compelling story. You won't be able to put it down because it's such a page-turner and emotional roller coaster. I adore how mysterious and suspenseful the story is. It's a really special kind of book to read, but not for the storyline or the story; rather, it's for the characters' psyches.

As an avid reader of romance books I always search for exciting and gripping romance tales that are passionate, and page turners. Maria O'Hara and Don Both have gifted romance readers a great story with 'Garden of Sins' that ticks all the above criterias. Sipped in passionate emotions, the book gripps the reader from the very first page. The story shocks the reader with unexpected twists and turns. The suspense and tension of what is going to happen pumps the adrenaline in each page. toxic psychological Manipulation and craziness drives the reader guessing all the time. The dark story centres around two heartless twin brothers named Carter and Caden rush who manipulates people to crush their life for mere enjoyment. They don't have any mercy and guilt for their actions. At the end of the novel you will feel for the characters who gets devastated in the hands of these two saddists.

I loved the engrossing narrative technique that makes the reader to read every page with nail biting anticipation and excitement. The world full of lies and toxicity is fantastic to savour the engulfing action that follows. I loved to see the results of manipulation and also some counter actions. One have to admit it takes some amazing skill to portray such violence with twisting crazyness. The characters are so realistic that you are bound to love or hate. After just starting to read I quickly get immersed in the writing so much that the characters' pain seemed to be mine and this feeling was terrific. Actually I loved this book and it's characters from heart, and that's why I am going to recommend this one to any romance fan.

Dark romance books are not just any book genre, it has the power to engulf one very quickly to transfer in a very passionate world where love mixes with thrones in each second to make you guess what's happening and I personally love that suspenseful anticipation. The racing pulse with hot ambience makes me squirm to read faster and faster. So you can understand when I say any book of that genre good, it's more than just good and 'Garden of Sins' by Maria O'Hara and Don Both is one of that kind. It's full of suspense and mystery along with passionate romance and toxic psychological manipulation to make it sizzling hot. From the very first page the reader explores a world full of deceit and lust that makes the reader's mind crazy with twisted predictions.

I appreciate the author's capabilities to sketch such a dark but passionate world that immerse the reader with passionate emotions. The characters with their unique emotions and feelings are fantastic to watch. Their actions and consequences of those actions are worth my reading time. The prose quality is fantastic with gorgeously elegant language that makes every scene vibrant. I was so engrossed in the reading that I finished the book in just one sitting and shocked by every twists and turns I was stunned by the amazing ending. I shall remember this book for long and am going to recommend to my friends who love such gripping reads.

The author's writing style is amazing to support the setting. The character sketching is great. Each of them is very realistic and their actions have some motive behind them. It's just to see the consequences of each of the ploys. I was amazed to see how the author created such an environment that vibes with toxicity and passion at the same time. The language is prosaic and easy to grasp. I was quickly absorbed in the story and soon shocked by the twists and turns. I think this book is great and I want to recommend this one to every romance reader who loves dark twists.

It seems that I just finished a marathon: I’m short of breath, my pulse or racing.. I’ve been through so much reading this book… So many ups and downs… My head is spinning…
I really didn’t think I was going to like it so much, not that I was going to hook like this, it’s like a drug.
This book deserves 10⭐️ for me. I have already marked to my TBR list all the books in this series and some more of these authors bc now that I have started I don’t know if I will be able to stop.👏👏👏👏
Warning: I recommend before you start the book to clear several hours of your day or night to finish it, it’s that addictive.
If you like dark, taboo, twisted and being mind fucked this is for you, pure gold.
The twins Carter and Caden have managed to completely tear me apart, like so many other women who have crossed their path.
Although they both find the love of their life, the one, they both lose it, albeit for different reasons.
Carter is explosive and super impulsive while Caden confuses me with his mind games and self control.
But I can’t give up on them and I need to know what will happen in the next book, now that they are fully in the lion’s den.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
I hope the following books will be translated soon, I can’t wait.

Are you hankering for a decent romantic novel to read during this rainy season? Then you are surely in right place. 'Garden of Sins' by Maria O'Hara and Don Both is a wonderful narrative that will appeal to romance readers. This sinister romantic story is filled with lust, deceit, and toxic psychological tension. Two twin brothers named Carter and Caden Rush, who enjoy manipulating people's thoughts, are the starting point of this sinister story. They have no remorse for their heinous crimes and are fully aware of them. You'll feel bad for the characters they play in the end and want to crush them.

I admired the way the author created a setting where fervent love and hatred coexist. The storyline is filled with manipulation and toxicity, which encourages you to predict the outcomes. The language is straightforward and easy to understand right away. Although the twists and turns are unexpected, they have been building all along. I adored the narrative style's realistic approach. Nothing seems improbable. The character sketches were excellent, and each of their actions was motivated in some way. Overall, I thought this book was fantastic and would suggest it to other romance readers.

Dark romance has the ability to rapidly engulf one and transport them to a passionate world where love and thrones meet in real time, leaving you guessing as to what will happen next. I personally enjoy the feeling of tension. The pounding heart and sweltering surroundings make me squirm as I read more quickly. Any work in that genre is more than merely good; one example is "Garden of Sins" by Maria O'Hara and Don Both. It is jam-packed with intrigue, mystery, passionate romance, and harmful psychological manipulation to make it blazing hot. The reader is introduced to a world filled of lies and lust from the first page, which causes the reader's imagination to spin out of control with bizarre predictions.

Amazing writing by the author supports the setting. The character sketches are excellent. Each of them is incredibly realistic, and each of their actions has a purpose, simply to observe the effects of each scheme. I was astounded to see how the author produced a setting that exudes both toxicity and passion. Pragmatic and understandable language has been used. The novel rapidly captivated me, and the unexpected turns soon surprised me. I believe this book to be fantastic, and I wish to suggest it to all romance readers who enjoy dark turns.

Being a fan of mysteries and suspenseful thrillers, I adore stories of dark romances. I have a great time reading these books, experiencing intense emotions and a surge of excitement. Don Both and Maria O'Hara's "Garden of Sins" is no exception to the rule. The book is packed with unexpected turns and searing romance. The plot centres on Carter and Caden Rush, identical twins who are ruthless and use social engineering to get what they deserve. It's absurd and heartbreaking, but they don't care how other people feel about their behaviour. They only do it for fun.

There are several unexpected turns in this gritty book. With each page, the eerie atmosphere will increase your heart rate. The characters really help the plot along and grow throughout the story. Another element of the novel that keeps you turning pages is the rationale behind each action and manipulation. The level of violence and criminal activity in this bizarre, perverse setup is mind-blowing. I was largely pleased with the author's ability to build the plot up in this way. The conversation is skillfully written, and the narration is believable. I will suggest this book to any romance reader since I thoroughly enjoyed the enigmatic suspense that persisted right to the very end.

Being a lover of mystery and suspense thriller I do love dark romance books. These books give me a fantastic time filled with adrenaline rush and passionate emotions. 'Garden of Sins' by Maria O'Hara and Don Both is no exception in that category. The book is full of shocking twists and turns and sizzling hot passion. The story turns around two twin brothers named Carter and Caden rush who are heartless and manipulate people to crush them. It's crazy and saddist but they pay no attention to what other feel for their actions. Quite the opposite they do it for mere entertainment.

I loved how the author have built the ambience where passionate love and hate resides side by side. Manipulation and toxicity is all over the story line to push you to anticipate the consequences. The language is easy and simple to grasp you from the very beginning. The twists and turns comes out of the blue but has continuous build up. I loved the realistic approach of the narrative style. Nothing seems unrealistic. The character sketching was great and their every action has some motivation behind. Overall I really loved this book and would recommend to my romance reading friends.

Alayna, she was feisty, sassy, and she had a backbone.... Until these two completely tore her apart and she definitely did not keep that backbone she had.

I hated the narration style. The constant you, you, you. No thanks. I picked this up for the manipulation but I couldn’t deal with that pov choice. Struggled through 2 chapters, skimmed to see if it gets better. IMO it didn’t but ch7 there’s a blink and you miss it moment.

“The next time she lets her gaze wander, it stays on me for a moment. Her eyes are light green...and something sticks in me for a moment.”

Searched green, to see if it matters. Skipped to ch38, the last 10 or so chapter were entertaining. So I guess I’ll try book 2. Only care about Isabelle.

Did not feel like I missed anything, the pertinent bits from ch8-37 got mentioned again. Sometimes you gotta love the repetition a KU book has.

Really good read that focuses on the Rush twins and their crazy secretive antics when it comes to their girl Alayna. It was also good to see the familiar Rush family dynamics from the previous books that was dysfunctional and entertaining in this story. The steamy scenes with these characters are super charged and intense that would leave you melting with need. The angst and never ending drama with the characters were heartbreaking and left you really feeling their emotions that they are going through at the time. I’m looking forward to reading more about these characters in the next book.

TWISTED Mind Bending Suspense!
It's crazy, twisted, chaotic, mind bending and disturbing with abuse, violence and criminal activity. I'm really hating myself for liking it and wanting more but I'm beyond intrigued and the psychotic suspense is unnerving and addictive. I feel and see the love stories that play out for the monster twins Caden and Carter but their love stories are over shadowed by darkness and that is what this story is filled with DARKNESS. Its explicit and dark and i m so ready to read the next book in this disturbing series.

Dark

This book is Total mind f**k but its good, Caden is a heartless psycho who is the master of manipulation, Carter isn't much better, in fact he's just as bad in a different kind way. Intriguing story that will have you hooked cannot wait to see where it goes now the twins are part of the mafia, will Caden get back with Alayna, and will Carter find Isabelle, so many ways this story could turn out. Looking forward to reading it. This is the first book I have read by these Authors.

Caden and Carter are Emelia and Masons twin sons (run baby run) they may be identical on the outside but inside they are different yet they both want Alayna, so why not share without her knowing! this story is dark twisted and more! set in the classic Don Both and Maria O'Hara style. it has you hooked from page one and doesn't let go!

I’m gonna start this review by saying that this author duo never fails to amaze me. I LOVE LOVE LOOOVE their books so much!! Their books are DARK dark, full of toxicity and drama and pretty messed up but that always makes me enjoy them even more. This book follows the children of the characters from “Mason & Emilia” trilogy. Two twin brothers hooking up with the same girls over and over again until one day, one of them falls in love. This book contains heavy graphic sexual content and also pretty dark topics so make sure to check the trigger warnings first.

The authors have an absolutely beautiful writing style, they MAKE you live the story in every characters’ perspective to the point where you feel like you are part of the book. I always feel like the characters are confessing to me because of the way they are written. I got so invested in this book from page one and I loved getting back to the Rushes’s world. The plot; BREATHTAKING, as all of their books. I still cannot understand how you can absolutely love and absolutely hate a set of characters at the same time. This is that kind of book that will make you scream from anger but you CANNOT put it down.

I highly recommend this to all dark romance lovers, especially to those who love reading messed up stories like myself. It’s not a book for lighthearted people so once again, make sure to check the trigger warnings before you dive into it.

Note: Thank you to the authors for sending me an e-arc of the book.

it took me forever to finish this. I loved the Keaton and
Olivia, mason and emilia -Books but this one was not that good. I guess because of the twins (the mc‘s) there were so many plots involved. It was a lot. It would have been a better reading experience to focus on ones brothers view first and maybe then the other brothers point of view in the next book. But including both story lines in one book was too much for my taste.

I am cracking my neck and wishing I had a drink in my hand. This series is off the hook. The twin spawn of Satan are even worse than their sire. Their antics blow your mind and make you thankful they are only book boys. The plot thickens, and you want to delve deeper into the psyche of these Rush men.

Sensational..

These authors works needs to be translated more into English. Phenomenal broken characters, toxic people who are just as they are and especially we see the human psyche and how far a person can get low to.. and from there we see the bonds, the emotions that slowly moulds them.
Loved the dynamic duo of twin RUSH
