Not everything they told you is true……because it was my job to ensure you never knew the whole truth. If the American people understood what really happened, the U.S. government feared life would have irrevocably changed for the worse. In Space Chase, the premier installment of The Palmdale Files, former agent Harold Anderson reveals the true story behind a mysterious Lockheed U-2 "Dragon Lady" crash in the mountains of Nevada and the extreme efforts the U.S. government went through to hide what happened. Space Chase—also known as Event 21 Zeta—is the first in a series of forgotten and buried events the author once destroyed to protect the peace and security of the United States—events the government would rather hide forever.Never heard of Palmdale? The author isn't surprised, and believes you never will outside of these short stories. The Palmdale Files share highlights from Harold Anderson's U.S. Air Force career, where he worked to defend the nation and the world from paranoid hysteria about unexplained phenomena and threats from above.
I appreciate Harold Anderson’s attempt to bring light to the dark spaces between government and the citizens it serves. I found the accounts a bit thin on detail and tension. If it is fiction as he stated, an embellishment of the facts or experiences might be more contrived. A fictional account of above top secret operations might contain more ties to the real world in which he was entwined. Although the reading is imaginary, it rubs shoulders with memoir. It needs more conflict and drama. It’s generic when it comes to what is needed to sell the topic. Nonetheless, it does bring daylight to a type of government disinformation spoon fed through the corporate news elite. Six corporations own 90% of the news. Jim Morrison, the one of “Light My Fire,” and buried in Paris was quoted as saying “Whoever controls the media, controls the mind.” He was right, and this book addresses a fragment of what Mr. Morrison had to say. My thanks to Harold Anderson for writing it.
The first problem with the book is that there is no way to tell whether or not anything in the book is true. It might be and it might not be. If there was or is such a group as the author claimed he was in then by now there should be some kind of evidence that such a group did exist but since names were changed in the book then it's possible that even the name Palmdale is fake so there would be no way to prove anything from the book.
The second problem is the book is too short. The first two books could have been easily been put together.
There are also no questions asked that should have been asked. For example, if a UFO did shoot down a U2 plane then why did it do so? It doesn't make any sense for aliens to do that. Also, if you examine UFO history you'll find such a thing as shooting down a plane is quite rare. Generally UFOs avoid interaction with airplanes.
Purportedly, ‘Harold Anderson’ is allegedly the ‘alias’ for the former of these two individuals, an 80-something retired USAF intelligence officer who claims to be divulging his ‘real’ activities over the span of his military career. Activities which involved cover-ups of UFO and ET activity. Activities which begin Mr. Anderson’s military career in the mid 50s at the brand-spanking new Area 51 in Nevada.
It’s so hard to tell anymore, if what we’re reading is truth, or just a good story. However, short though at least this first book of the, so far, four books in this series may be, it is, in my opinion, well worth the read if discovering possible ‘truths’ in the UFO/ET world is your thang.
I have to say, either Anderson and Lyons are excellent web weavers, or this is likely true.
Very interesting. The author(s) tell a story that blends easily from fact and fiction and it's very entertaining to wonder what may be true and what is conjured in the mind of an author. I greatly anticipate reading the Second installment in this series. I recommend anyone who even has a passing interest in UFOS or the "unknown" to give this series of books a try. I think you'll be glad you did.
I like reading books that are rooted in fact. I too used to believe in “God”, but something inside me changed about seven years ago. There’s something bigger going on with us than just this God being. Unfortunately, super religious people tend to be narrow minded and can’t see because they have blinders on. Something or some one made us. But I’m starting to believe more and more about ET’s. Good book!
I chose this rating because the book was excellent ..The only thing I disliked about the book is the fact that Mr. tom lyons keep saying he's 52 and that was like 4 years ago. I believe books like this should be a must read by everyone to find out the truth what's really going on out there and how we been lied to by our own government for many many many years.
Excellent, "fictional" anecdotes from a secret USAF Dis-informer. Government and military leaders decided decades ago that US citizens wouldn't be able to handle the truth about extraterrestrial visitors and so lied to everyone very creatively. Great story. I want to read more about this!!
I humbly thank the author Mr. Anderson for disclosing information that may put not only himself but his family in danger that we ( the public) have a right yo know. But not only that, I love stories that our Elders have lived through and to share them is a priceless gift!
I really enjoyed the book and the story, the author really has a way of putting you in the action, you feel like it’s happening to you. I especially like the human side of it and how he deals with his crisis of faith. I’m looking forward to the next book, I hope you keep writing
This book deserves 5 stars, because it touches on a sensitive part of American history. It isn't often you come across a well-strategic book based upon the reasons why extraterrestrial events were covered up. Just as they were, this books express the precautions put into place, all in the name of secrecy.
Suspending judgment as to whether this story is fiction or camouflaged nonfiction, I enjoyed reading it. It did strike me as mostly believable in its details, and there were very few typos or grammatical errors, something that will put me off a story lightning quick. I am planning to read the rest of the series.
Good read, short as always:) For some reason the idea of aliens scares the bejeezus out of me so I'm not sure how far I'll go down this rabbit hole. Is rather be scared by Bigfoot or Dogman!lol
I loved this story. You feel like you’re really getting access to the behind the scenes info. Mr. Anderson has peaked my interest. It’s great to find out about the inner workings of something that’s been such a secret for so long,
Yes after reading so many books on the subject I am sure the powers that be think we are stupid and easily lied to. I also think whatever is out there is multidimensional and not from other planets. They come through portals in our world.
Simply amazing read. I have no doubt that there is so much out there that the everyday person knows nothing about and is being hidden from us. I'll be moving on to the next Palmdale Files book next so look for more of a review with that one as well.
This book is well written for the lay person. It was easy to follow and very interesting. Thank you for having the courage to share what most of us has already suspected as true.
I HAVE QUESTIONS: We pay the monthly fee to read books at not charge I do not know how to give books back I do not know how to get new books to read i do not know where to look for the genre of books I want to read
Really awesome book, whether you believe in aliens or not
Whether you decide to take this book as fact or fiction, it's really cool to read. It's not like creative writing by any means, but very straight to the point and honestly very easy to read. I enjoyed it a lot.
I found this book by chance and now I'm on to the second one! I believe. I seen them! I strongly recommend you to read this excellent story of life beyond beyond our Planet!
This short book, co-written by Harold Anderson and Tom Lyons, is a surprise. It purports to be a background of Roswell, Area 51 and early saucer events. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to reading the next in line. A good read.
Very interesting book. Way to short and not enough detail. Whether it is fiction or nonfiction, it ties in with my beliefs. Yes, I a Christian but believe in somethings out of the box( Pandora's box?) Going to go to next book.I need more!
Unfortunate truth about our government makes me angry to hear. I am tired of all the lies. Glad that some people are coming forward. I wish they all would,
It's usually the first few pages of a book when I know I'm gonna be swept up in the storyline or not. Well I was, and I am going on to the next book. Thank you
