This book is super hot. Loved it. Robin is a favorite author of mine. She knows how to write some steam!! My only complaint is there was no epilogue. I wanted to see where these three ended up.

Reviewed on my blog, Becky on Books, on 2/17/20.

Sharing Darcy is a really hot, full-of-steamy-scenes novella that gives what is undoubtedly a fantasy of many (some?) women--having not one, not two, but three younger, way-better-in-shape-than-her-ex men interested in her, men who don't mind sharing (two even enjoy threesomes!) and who (of course!) are amazing in bed, way more interested in giving than receiving.

Don't get me wrong, it was a lot of fun to read (if a little awkward to read while in the same room with your nearly-grown children, LOL ;)), but I couldn't help but wonder, do guys like this really exist? I mean, sure, they're probably out there, but what are the chances they're all in the same geographic area, just waiting to "share" the Darcys living in their town? (BTW, they all weren't interested in seeing anyone but Darcy themselves, yet were fine with her going out with all of them. Again, it was a lot of fun to read; it just struck me as very female-centered. And yeah, even as I'm writing that I want to say there's nothing wrong with that! You go, girls!--but it just doesn't seem super realistic to me, which is sad.)

I was a bit bummed that the story just ended where it did--it's a happy ending, with all four characters together, having a good time (but not *that* good, LOL) but I don't know that it was really and HEA/HFN-type ending. No one made any actual promises, and we don't really get a solid sense that they're all going to be together long haul. Which again, is fine...but I guess I'm going to have to say this isn't really an erotic romance because of that. Just an erotic novella, then?

TLDR: Sharing Darcy is an enjoyable, steamy read that'll do its part to try and keep you warm on a cold winter's day. It's not my favorite from this author, and not strictly speaking actually a romance--but it was still a fun way to spend a few hours this weekend.

Darcy has had to deal with her husband of over twenty years coming home one day to tell her that he no longer loves her and he wants a divorce because he is in love with someone else. He leaves Darcy and his two daughters for a woman only five years older than his daughter. Darcy’s friends all rally around her and help her recover from her pain. Now she can finally renovate the house like she always wanted to.

Gabe is the foreman of the construction company who is putting together the quote for the job. Darcy feels a spark from Gabe while they are discussing the job. Gabe asks Darcy out on a date, but Darcy tells him she will meet him at a nightclub. They end up spending the night together make hot love. Then she meets another worker Jake, who is a Stonemason and she feels the spark with him too. Gabe sets them up on a date which ends with them tearing up the sheets at Jake’s place.

While meeting with a client at a coffee shop, Darcy sees a very good looking man there who keeps looking at her in an interested way and smiling. Just as Darcy is packing up her things, he introduces himself as Andrew a cabinetmaker who is waiting to work with Gabe and his crew. They go out on a date later that week and they also steam up the bedroom.

All three men know each other well and encourage Darcy to explore her sexuality and their willingness to share her. They even encourage her to get a tattoo as a way to express her freedom from the influence of her ex husband. They all get along well and help Darcy with her competition she entered and they thrive in their foursome relationship.

Darcy's ex-husband left her for a younger woman so now she moving on and working on her home. She's having the work done to it that she wanted but couldn't because her ex wouldn't let her. She hires Gabe's company to do the work for her. She meet Jake and Andrew through Gabe. Each guy wants to be with Darcy and doesn't mind sharing her with the others. Darcy is stunned that such sexy desirable young men want to be with an older woman like her but she goes with it. Darcy is entering a design contest and using her house as her design project. She's hoping to win so she's have the money to help with her half of her daughters tuition for school. But even as a runner up she would end up with enough recognition to get her business up and running. When her ex learns about the new men in her life he is happy and tries to let her know about it but Darcy isn't having it and let's him have it in a very public way. Will the guy stay with her after the work is done? Will she win the contest?

This is an amazing story about an older woman coming into her own after her divorce and her children leave for college. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Do not read this at work!

Since EVERYONE and her kid sister is now writing 'reverse harem' romances, it's inevitable that my favorite romance writer, Robin Stone, would turn her hand to the sub-genre. If you think this means another copycat RH, though, you'd be wrong. Robin's writing is truly unique, uniquely grounded in the real world, and filled with the details of real living. And the emotions.... OMG, the immediacy!! The feels!!!! Usually when I read romance , I'm happy if I can understand and empathize with the heroine. With Sharing Darcy, I swear I went through the whole book feeling as if it WAS me - older, empty nester, cast off by the ex for the bimbo-of-the-month, struggling to juggle the bills and feelin' just a little shopworn.... It's like I lived in Darcy's skin! And the sexual tension was off-the-charts - times three!! So much so that I needed a shower when I finished the book... (I know. TMI. Sorry, not sorry) I don't do spoilers, and I've already shared what's really outstanding about this book, (everything!) so I'm giving it the max possible 5 stars, and declaring that this ARC review is absolutely voluntary. So just read the blessed thing, will ya?

This is a great story of a woman who is left by her husband for a much younger replacement. Darcy exacts the best revenge by living her life the way she wants to, growing her business, and allowing love to come back into her life in the form of three younger men. I enjoyed the dynamic between the characters, and Darcy’s confidence growth with every day she takes back control of her life.
Two suggestions for improvement:
I would have liked to read about the guys thoughts and get to know them better.
An epilogue would have been nice too.

Downloaded from BookSprout. I received this book free from the author for my honest review. Since I rely heavily on reviews to make decisions about purchases, I will never lie or over-exaggerate my opinion. There is nothing worse than seeing a bunch of 5 star reviews and realizing the book is full of errors or just plain bad and not worth my hard earned money!

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is the first book I have ever written by Robin Stone. Darcy is a mother of two girls and whos husband decides he's better off with a much younger woman. While she has friends supporting her, it's the three younger men she meets that begin to change her for the better. While doing renovations on her home things heat up with first Gabe, then Jake and finally Andrew. They each give her a boost to her self esteem. This was a short story with good characters. The only reason it didn't receive more stars was because I personally felt the ending could have been done differently. I expected more from reading so many romances with HEA between characters. I do think everything else was good though

New author to me i thought id take a change as the blurb got me interested.

This book is about Darcy how shes moved on from her divorce and is having her home remodeled where she meets Gabe and Jake then later on Andrew.

I liked the book the ideas and lived how Darcy fave her ex what for but the book ended super abruptly with no i love you no epilogue. To me you cant class the book as a romance without an i love you.

My ideal ending would have been them all coming together as one living in Darcy house and creating loving magic.

Great fun

This book was so much fun to read. I thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait to read the next book. Who said today's women need to stick with only 1 man. The is much better and there's a lot to say about variety.

3.5 stars I enjoyed it but the end had me wishing for more insight into the couples future. It felt incomplete. I guess I am spoiled by epilogues.

While Darcy taps out at three younger studs, the whole thing is fabulous. The men are (mostly) secure in their relationships with her and friendships with each other. The drama with her ex adds some drama and opportunity for some interesting exchanges. This was very easy to read. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
