Robert Berdella.
An ordinary man, appreciated by neighbors and a great lover of cooking, art, and culture, who turned into one of the most sadistic torturers to ever live.

Ted Bundy.

Basic information regarding major serial killers Edmund Kemper, Jeffrey Dahmer, Robert Berdella, and Ted Bundy. This is a good audiobook to listen to if you aren’t familiar with the crimes that these serial killers have done. There is basic info on their childhood and their crimes, but there aren’t a lot of details like I’ve seen in similar audiobooks.

Still an interesting listen.

Narration was punctuated and professional. Went well with the book.

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

I thought this was a good collection of information about 4 horrific killers. The information was enough to get a good overview of their background and crimes without bogging down the narrative. It was read well. If you want to read/listen to something that will make you look over your shoulder while getting into your car, this should do it.

I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Serial Killers: The Horrific True Crime Stories Behind 4 Infamous Serial Killers That Shocked The World (Real Crime By Real Killers Collection Book 1) was a good true crime story by Ryan Becker. This collection includes four of the world's most well known serial killers; Edward Kemper, Jeffrey Dahmer, Robert Berdella, and Ted Bundy. These men performed acts that were cruel and heartless. These were good true crime tales by Ryan Becker that anyone who enjoys true crime stories will enjoy.

Interesting book

If you’re interested in the way killer’s minds work then you like reading these books. To know what sick and twisted desires these killers are possess are incomprehensible to me. I can’t understand how someone can be so evil. But I suppose that is the nature of evil...to cause pain and destruction. The loyalty of the dark one’s children...

The tellings of only a few..

After reading these, I've learned a lot more about a few of the most gruesome serial killers I've heard of and their crimes. It's truly shocking what a human being can do to another. **spoiler** not for the faint of heart concerning details of the crimes.

One of the dullest books ever

I was looking forward to reading this book. As a fan of true crime I knew the stories but looked forward to a different slant.

Nope. Dull. Missing many important facts. Just dull.

'Serial killer: an offender who commits a series of two or more murders…usually acting alone’

Ryan Becker is growing strong in the literary scene, a handsome young man with a penchant for the gruesome. His list of books continues to grow, and he has now produced bundles of his books that relate. To date are SERIAL KILLER: 200 Gruesome yet Fascinating Facts about Serial Killers, Book 1– ROBERT BERDELLA: The True Story of a Man who Turned his Darkest Fantasies into a Reality, Book 2 EDMUND KEMPER: The True Story of the Brutal Co-ed Butcher, Book 3 JEFFREY DAHMER: The Gruesome True Story of a Hungry Cannibalistic Rapist and Necrophiliac Serial Killer, and Book 4 TED BUNDY: The horrific True Story Behind America’s Most Wicked Serial Killer. According to the biographical information, Ryan aims to write all the stories he has read and watched and letting himself be taken into the world of true mysteries and psychological murder crime stories. He also wants to share his experience of his younger days with the readers on how he immersed himself with the dark reality of the world. He loves to tell a true story that will make you solve a puzzle on your mind. He is now living with his wife and two sons. Ideally, Ryan wants to leave a mark on the reader with his dark true crime stories. It is important to add that he succeeds!

Ryan’s books tend to be more psychological dissections or autopsies of the minds of the murderers he reports. At book's inception he outlines the content - ‘Something must be said: we are fortunate. We are fortunate because we can sit in the safety of our homes and pick up books like these as a source of entertainment and knowledge, distractions of sorts that allow us to learn the tales of horrible human beings. We are fortunate because as soon as we put these books down, we simply push the horrific details to the back of our minds and or let them remain on the pages of said books. Soon, we forget about them or replace them with more pleasant information. The victims of the killers we describe, however, are not so fortunate.’

Very succinctly Ryan introduces these four serial killers, leaving no details to the imagination. Grisly but fascinating to read the manner in which Ryan approaches his subject matter. He details the lives and crimes of Robert Berdella, Edmund Kemper, Jeffrey Dahmer, and Ted Bundy. ‘Sick individuals have always plagued humanity – monsters that have lost all empathy for their fellow humans and cannot see past their own personal desires…those particular beasts disguised by human flesh that have seen fit to experiment on their own species as if they were cattle.’

Ryan writes very well indeed and has found his niche in books that inform and make us shudder, avoiding ‘the things that go bump in the night.’ He has become an authority on crime whose insight is exceptional.

Ryan Becker and True Crime Seven never disappoint, and this book is no exception!

If you are a fan of true crime books like me, and you are considering passing on this book because you think you know all there is to know on the serial killers featured in this book, you should definitely reconsider! Ryan Becker and his team do an amazing job researching these serial killers and their acts of pure depravity. This book collection is definitely not for the faint of heart! Unlike a lot of true crime books, they do not just breeze through the basics and move on to the next serial killer. They give you a good insight into who these killers are, what may have led them down the path of killing, and what they did to their victims in detail, which is why I say that this book is not for the faint of heart. When reading this book collection I had a hard time putting it down even though I have read about this killers before. This set just isn't like the rest. I learned so much more about these serial killers, and I learned more about their victims as well. So many true crime books don't really talk about the victims, nor do they tell you about the last days of the victims and the horrific manner in which they died. After reading this collection I found myself reflecting on the absolutely horrific ends that these victims faced, and everything inbetween. The victims that passed away early on were almost afforded a small mercy in comparison to those who survived for days, if not weeks. This book set is a true reminder that evil does indeed exist, and that nobody is safe when it comes to these monsters. Often times it is insinuated that the victim out themselves in harm's way. This book will teach you differently. This book is definitely worth renting if you have Amazon Prime or Kindle Unlimited. If you don't have Prime or Unlimited, Ryan Becker is selling this book at a price that is affordable for anyone! I love that Ryan and his team are passionate about writing these books, and it shows in the quality of his books, and it says a lot a lot their passion when they are selling a box set that is affordable no matter what your budget is. I HIGHLY recommend that you rent or buy this book if you enjoy the true crime genre. I promise you won't be disappointed!

I received a Mobi.file of this packaged collection of four books which the author, Ryan Becker, has previously published as stand-alone individual books, and the following is my honest opinion.

If you’re a True Crime aficionado like I am [I’m a TOP CONTRIBUTOR for books on this genre of Amazon] then you shouldn’t pass up this opportunity to obtain the collection of four KINDLE books written by Ryan Becker, listed below, for only 99 cents. These books are selling on Amazon today for $3.99 each or a total of $15.96.

There are several authors for this genre of book, with many authors selecting the same deranged, heinous serial killers to write about. I’ve read several authors of this genre and Mr. Becker ranks at the top of my favorites. Mr. Becker writes a well-written, well-researched, no holds bar expose for each of the four individuals he’s included in this compendium.

Book 1– ROBERT BERDELLA: The True Story of a Man who Turned his Darkest Fantasies into a Reality.
Book 2 EDMUND KEMPER: The True Story of the Brutal Co-ed Butcher.
Book 3 JEFFREY DAHMER: The Gruesome True Story of a Hungry Cannibalistic Rapist and Necrophiliac Serial Killer.
Book 4 TED BUNDY: The horrific True Story Behind America’s Most Wicked Serial Killer

For having given his readers an opportunity to purchase all four of these books for the ridiculous discounted price [about 94% less than the full price for all of these four books combined] and the quality of the books themselves, I’ve given Mr. Becker 5 STARS.

A deeply-researched and deep dive into the stories of four truly gruesome serial killers, Ryan Becker's "Serial Killers," is crucial and incredibly interesting reading.

Exploring the lives and crimes of Edmund Kemper, Jeffrey Dahmner, Robert Berdella, and Ted Bundy, Becker does a great job at combining the life stories of these killers along with their crimes, providing a wonderful balance between the profound (why these killers did what they did) and the gruesome (what exactly they did). I was most intrigued, (by virtue of me not really knowing the story of,) Robert Berdella, who truly epitomized the ways in which these killers often can blend themselves into polite society, at least to a point, making them much harder to catch or even consider by most people to be capable of such wanton violence. But anyone who has seen the recent dramatization of Ted Bundy on Netflix, or, on the same app, the tv show "Mindhunters", will find alot here that will still be of great interest.

Ultimately, I personally have always found true crime an interesting topic due to wanting to know as much as possible why people will turn out to be such horrific killers. Well-written and succinct in its treatments, Ryan Becker's book here is a great jumping off point for those whose only knowledge of these subjects come from film and tv, or a deep refresher course in understanding what makes certain people turn to such horrible extremes.

If you are a true crime fanatic and haven’t read anything from Ryan Becker you are missing out! These stories are riveting and very well written! They keep you on the edge of your seat the whole time! Ryan is by far one of my favorite true crime authors because his stories are true but don't drag on like other true crime writers.

Cheesy

This book reads like a cheesy true-crime magazine. It's written in an overly dramatic style and does not cover the killers--or their crimes--in any depth. Each story is a collection of already known facts that have been cobbled together to create a book. Also, whoever edited this mess should be fired.

So here I get to binge read. This is a fabulous box set that kept me glued to the pages of the e-reader until I had read them all. I cannot say enough positive about these books. This is history. While I enjoy fiction, truth is stranger than fiction as we all know. Thank you, authors!
