"Almost seven years after my coding story began, I feel so lucky that I've had the opportunity to teach a lot of other people to code. I want to share what I've learned from that with you." - Ali Spittel.
I don't actually remember who recommended this book but really happy I had the chance to read it. Short and very informative. It explains the first hard steps and how to get through them with high benefit. The book is available free on Ali Spittel's website.
A short and concise collection of advice for novice programmers that goes into the why, how and who to ask. The extra-good thing is that a lot of these principles are things you can use outside of programming too.
It's free, it's short, it's very helpful. What's not to love?
Fantastic book. It is short, but includes all the important information. Ali shares some great insight on what she wishes she knew before learnig to code and as I am currently struggling to learn, it is definitely some great information.
Great short pocket book for all those starting out or want to know what to do or how to go through this process of learning. Thanks Ali for sharing it so precisely and with references!!
