Wow! What a well thought out story! From royalty to the life of a slave, Divine Heir is the unforgettable Sc-fi adventure of a prince on a distant planet as he tries to get back what is rightfully his. The author truly leaves you wanting more and I would love to see this made into a movie!

A distant planet, Greek mythology, dragons, the Devil, Earthlings, Christians, a “random” prince, and characters worthy of George R.R. Martin combine to create the Divine Heir fantasy into a good read. The author entertains us with her gift to turn a word or a phrase into something really quite thought provoking. Sometimes it’s done descriptively and sometimes with a clever delivery but always memorable (I did not think the words “Pack your things and come along, Mother” would ever impact me so.). It raises the quality of the book above the expected norm. There’s also lots of bedroom intrigue (where most of the politics take place) and again, unexpected, tantalizing situations. A very good first chapter of the hero’s defeat kickstarts the story as the essential characters are introduced afterwards and our prince struggles (or grovels) to regain his throne. I recommend it for people who like complex plots and political manipulations.

WOW, what a great fantasy story; the characters really come alive on the pages! Some words caught my attention because they resemble words from the bible! For example, Adam and Evan, as “Adam and Eve” or Pillar of Verisimilitude as in “Pillar of Salt” – the story where Lots wife turning into the pillar of salt; the siblings, most of the time, were at war or competition, as “Cane and Able were: it was really amazing to reminisce on Scripture as I read the story! Reading how Vivianne was imprisoned by the Devil, how she reclaimed Mara the city to save her heir and how Prince Random became courageous and victorious; gosh, it was SUCH a good read!

Well written, a great read with plenty of action and turn of events enough make you want to turn the pages. It all happens, in a faraway planet, could very well be right here on earth. The Devil, dragons, and a slew of characters to make the story absolutely a great one. Very entertaining with surprises. A must-read. Stella and I loved it.
