I am sorry to say that I just didn't care about this volume. I forced myself to get through it. I actually put it down 3 separate times to read other novels because I just didn't care. It was marginally better for a bit, hence why it gets 2-stars instead of one, but I never felt like I cared about anything going on in this book.

I truly hope, should you read it, that you have a better experience.

Kuroka and Shax carried this volume I wouldn’t have enjoyed it nearly as much if not for their cute and adorable interactions. All the cat scenes were hilarious and at the end when he knew the truth and still called her Kurosuke, I loved it. I hope we get to see a lot more of them in future volumes
