Brittney has been an avid reader since she can remember. Her parents' form of punishment for her growing up was taking away her books and making her go outside to play. She was born and raised in Southern California, with a brief hiatus in Arizona. She loves the beach, exercising, sleeping in, and cookies. She is an obsessive dog lover, although her affection currently has no outlet. Something that she is planning on remedying soon. She and her husband currently reside in the Rocky Mountains exploring and hiking as much as possible.

I liked Isla's story most of all! This was not a "meet someone and 2 weeks later they're 'head over heels'" (that saying has always confused me). This was a "I've known you for years and I'm slowly loving you more each day" type of story. Those are my favorite!
After hearing some disturbing news (that you don't learn about until the end), the king & queen decide to arrange a marriage for Isla.
Logan is Isla's guard & good friend. He has to watch all these random men try to woo Isla, who by the way is livid at the arrangement.
Then, she's kidnapped by one of them and hoisted out of the country. But never fear, her faithful guard is there to rescue her! And they live happily ever after!
This was a super cute & fun read. The perfect ending to the series!!

Lacking relationship development

This book was okay. It was better than book 2, and not as good as book 1. My main complaint is a lack of relationship development. She tells us they are friends and have feelings for each other, but not a lot of showing.

Also without spoiling it, the crisis of the book was weak. The character that caused the crisis has major plot holes that should have been fleshed out to make it more believable.

Rebel When Necessary

Isla has been one of my favorite characters in this series. She's loyal, loving and funny. She's a straight shooting woman of action. Logan is her guard and friend. When her parents force her into hosting unwanted suitors, everyone goes into subtle rebellion mode. I loved seeing the siblings, their significant others and the staff protect Isla from the unwanted advances. Logan ends up saving the day and the princess. I loved the ending! Great series!

Another fun, sweet romance

I've really enjoyed each of the books in this series. Well paced, just enough drama, and sweet happily ever afters. Princess Isla knew who she wanted and fought to have him. Logan, her guard, wasn't so sure he could measure up. I loved seeing how everything worked out for them. I'm a little sad the series has come to an end though :(

I have enjoyed this series. It has been clean. And I like the Princes and Princess characters. This story wasn't as strong as the past few. I did enjoy seeing the inter workings of security of the palace. This book was clean, but there was a gay character.

Sweet Royal/bodyguard Story

I love these stories. I wish they were better edited. Halfway through this book (the 3rd in the series) the third brother’s name suddenly went from Ronan to Rowan. But it was still an enjoyable story.
