Co-founder of the Outcry Worship Tour, Ryan Romeo, empowers you to live well in the present as you dream well about the future in this practical guide to doing the impossible.
When it comes to pursuing our dreams, Ryan Romeo is convinced of two things. First, God knows where you come from. He knows about your past. He knows about the seemingly impossible situation you may find yourself in. And yet, he is even more committed to seeing your dream come to life than you are.
The other thing Ryan has learned is this: Your daily habits bring about the reality of your calling. What you do today matters even when it doesn't feel like it. Especially when it doesn't feel like it. How you treat your current job, your current boss, and those around you matters. How you serve your leader's vision or your church's vision? That matters too.
So as you pursue your calling, don't forget to keep your head in the clouds. Never let the worries, the fears, the "what-ifs?" in your heart dampen God's unique call on your life. At the same time, you need to keep your feet on the ground - to stay engaged and connected right where you are, so you don't miss out on the foundation God wants to build.
How do you do that? That's what Head in the Clouds, Feet on the Ground is all about. Looking at examples from his own life and from others who have followed big dreams, Ryan shares three practical and powerful ways to:
Lay the groundwork that will strengthen the dreamer (you!) for the task ahead. Overthrow the dream killers that try to sideline you. Take the first steps! It's time to become a steward of your dream. Are you ready? Stand firm. And then look up.
For all the creative misfits that are still trying to figure out how to be yourself and use your gifts confidently in a church. For all the leaders in a difficult season or need some new revelations & foundations in which to come back to. For all our servers who need to be reminded on our dreams from God. This is for you! I needed this book. Well written, inspiring & interesting stories from Ryan’s journey & Jesus focused while still giving you hope for your serving & dreams. I found this book very relatable! Thankyou Ryan for your humility & openess to discuss your revelations & admit your mistakes in your journey! My favourite book so far this year
Ryan is a very talented individual who has an amazing story that is outlined in this book. He uses his story along with the stories God tells us in our Bibles to instill a hope and a way to dream big dreams that no one thinks you can accomplish while keeping your feet right where they need to be.
I found that I was more intrigued and engaged in the first part of the book and found many helpful things in there in comparison to the final parts of the book
Overall recommend the read! I would especially recommend this for high schoolers as this could help them gain a spark to follow their dream.
This is such a sound book on this topic of being a dreamer with reality and with the hope for dreaming. The way he structured the book comes together amazingly. I really loved the way he started with the dream giver at the center that being God! I truly loved this book. As a designer (creative) this has given me hope for what the dream giver has for each and everyone of us!
You will love this book! If you’re stuck in the creative process or need that boost to help you accomplish the next step this book is for you. You will be inspired and moved as Ryan teaches us biblically how God have us dreams and how he wants us to use our gifts.
