I think it's great how the author deals with the topic and how he gives
very practical and above all understandable instructions on how to get
out of his mental blocks. I am a psychotherapist and see every day the
dominance with which unconscious structures exercise control over a
person, and what discipline and determination is necessary to really
escape it. That is why, in my opinion, this book is suitable for all
people who - regardless of their phase of life - do not get where they
want to go. If you can't get out of your self-boycott with this book,
you can only do it with psychotherapy. Proposal to the author: have it
translated into my language.

Not Quite What I Was Hoping For

Despite the fact that this author says that “lazy” is not quite the right word and he is going to unpack it and take a different approach, he comes across as far too blaming and shaming of the reader. I just don't think that that works as a motivational tool. There might be some wisdom nuggets here, but I don't know if it's worth it to slog through the author's negative “you suck” approach.

I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.

Before start feel confident enough to write a self help book, one should be sure about having basic knowledge on human psychology, trauma and neuro-diversity. Otherwise it would be really easy to write a book that label people who cannot get their life back together as lazy or undisciplined.

This Book Is A Game Changer!

The guidance of this book is deceptively simple. Every time I read a portion, I found a new tactic that I could assimilate.

Nothing ground breaking, but still quite inspiring and motivating.
