But before summer officially kicks off, the girls decide to drive Alba from Aspen Falls to her brother’s wedding in Jersey City. Of course, things never go quite as planned where the Witch Squad is concerned… But factor in a wrong turn, a serial killer, and a stuffed unicorn and you have the makings for a feel-good adventure story perfect for capping off the first year of witch college. **Each book in the series is a standalone mystery and can be read without reading the entire series, but the relationships between the characters are a continuation from book to book. Enjoy clean fun for all ages, no sex, gore, or foul language.
The witch within, became too weird, unbelievable, and even though it was all made up, boring. I like to read books to soothe my nerves. This was mean (Alba), too much hateful talking. No responsibility, none of the witch squad ever confides in an adult, never calls the police, too much ego. And witch within was ego fantasy. It keep going on and on. Yuck. All of them could have asked for help, at one time or another.
I guess you can tell I liked the books since I bought all three sets of the first year. I enjoyed watching Mercy grow from a spoiled, resentful brat into a good woman. The mystery’s were nicely done, but it was the interaction between the girls that made me stick with the series.
This is an awesome series! I loved the Characters. They were very relatable. The world building was fantastic! M. Z. Andrews you have a very creative mind. Thank you for this very entertaining series of books! I can't wait to read the next book and starting the Coffee Coven series also!
I can believe you enjoyed writing these books, it's shows in your enthusiasm I the characters and their personalities. I am very hooked on this series. Thank you.
This is books 3 through 6. Our group of 5 young adults have matured a bit and are learning more about the craft, but things go wrong and it takes adding outside help to set things right. Hard to put down. Loved reading them.
I really liked this box set because we finally learn why Jax has no witch power. This revelation covers several books and takes us way back in time to the girls grandmothers days, when the grandmothers were young adults. The young witches did remarkable things to try to correct the sins of the past. Only to learn a hard lesson.
