He has nothing and everything to lose…

When a seventeen-year-old boy goes missing while camping with his buddies in the Chisos Mountains in Big Bend, the case is right up PI Charlie Dodge’s alley. Charlie’s reputation for finding missing people—especially missing kids—is unparalleled. Unfortunately, trouble seems to be equally good at finding him.

Charlie’s still in the thick of it when bad news arrives regarding his wife, Annie, whose early onset Alzheimer’s is causing her to slip further and further away. The timing couldn’t be worse. Thankfully, Charlie’s ride-or-die assistant, Wyrick, has his back. But when Universal Theorem, the shadowy and elusive organization from Wyrick’s past, escalates its deadly threats against her, it pushes both partners past their breaking points. Finding people is one thing; now Charlie will have to fight to hold on to everyone he holds dear.

Wow! This series just keeps getting better! I've read a lot of Sharon Sala's books and enjoyed all of them but this book is one of her best. It is the third book in the series and we return to Charlie and Wyrick and their individual heartbreaks. At times it is a hard book to read. But trust SS to break your heart and put it back together again. These two people work so well together as friends and boss/assistant. You should read this series from the beginning and I highly recommend it. There is only one more book left in the series and I can't wait to read it to see the end of this story.

Charlie Dodge and Wyrick have enough on their plate with looking for a lost teen without the pressure of what is going on with their loved ones. Add to this mix a hitman, the diabolical UT, Snickers and a Pepsi, and you have a taste of Wyrick’s life.

Charlie is watching Annie go downhill at a fast clip and it is absolutely heart-wrenching. I rarely cry when I read a story but I had misty eyes on more than one occasion.

I don’t recommend reading this as a standalone. Start with The Missing Piece; you will discover both Charlie’s and Wyrick’s back stories and they are important. Ms. Sala stretches the reader's imagination with Wyrick’s abilities so if you require realistic suspenseful stories, avoid The Jigsaw Puzzle series.

Satisfaction is described as:
fulfillment of one's wishes, expectations, or needs, or the pleasure derived from this.
Blind Faith by Sharon Sala truly is satisfaction!
This book was way more than I even anticipated.
Ms. Sala always delivers extraordinary plots and characters in each and every book, however I think Blind Faith went even a step further, a reader’s Utopia!
Charlie Dodge and Jade Wyrick have become my favorite PI duo, a special team who feed off one another’s strengths and compensate for each other’s weaknesses.
A perfect suspense with life lessons intertwined.

Wow! This series is amazing! The main story on the synopsis was resolved pretty fast and the rest were about the hit on Wyrick and how she took revenge. It is also very emotional as there were 2 deaths of someone close to them and it would be interesting to see how the series ends in the next book. I’ve finished this in a day!

This was a pivotal book in the stories. By this point, we are completely invested in both main characters lives. So, events that were occurring in their personal lives, outside of the missing persons case they are diligently working, were heart wrenching. Yet, they never lose sight of their main goal. It's exceptional. I recommend reading the series from the beginning. It is outstanding.

This is the third book in this series and both main characters, Charles and Wyrick face some personal loss. This book is more about them then the first two. A fast read that leaves the reader wanting more. Looking forward to #4.

I think one of the coolest things about Sharon Sala is that she can create the world of Wyrick and Charlie and also the world of Blessings, Georgia

These Jigsaw mysteries are books that keep me on edge through every page.

Another good one in the series. Both Jade and Charlie deal with loss in this book all while trying to find a teenage boy lost in a National Park. This book is more of an emotional one on many levels as both deal with the ups and downs of losing loved ones. Cyrus Park is also at it again as he just cannot deal with losing Jade, his favorite project that he wants back. Jade is merciless in her revenge and finds ways to let him know she’s always going to get revenge if he doesn’t leave her alone. The banter between Jade and Charlie is as sharp as ever, and their obvious attraction continues to simmer beneath the surface. Overall a pretty good read.

Blind Faith by Sharon Sala is the 3rd book in her Jigsaw Files series. I have read many novels by Sala, and have enjoyed her writing. However, I just discovered this series, as to me it is a different genre that I am used to. I am happy to say I loved Blind Faith, and perhaps I need to go back and read the first two books, as I really like the two heroes, Charlie and Wyrick.

Charlie Dodge is a private investigator, who is widely known for finding missing people. His assistant is Jade Myrick, who has special abilities that most people do not know, but we the reader know that Wyrick was a scientific experiment as a child, and when she got cancer (which she healed herself), they dumped her. Charlie and Wyrick make a great team, solving all their cases, with Charlie knowing there is something different about Wyrick. Her uncanny ability to be able to read something of the missing person, as well as her ability to heal quickly makes her a great asset. Charlie visits his beloved wife often in the hospital, as she is falling deeper into Alzheimer, and he knows she is near the end. Wyrick lives in a mansion, with a friend who is dying, and she too is sad; with both of them having a tough time knowing that the end is near.

At the start, we see three 17 year old boys going camping in the mountains, having an argument, and when one of the boys throws a punch at tony, he loses his balance and falls over the cliff. Charlie is called by the boy’s parents to see if he can find him. As Charlie goes to the scene, looking for all clues, Wyrick will visit the boys, his girlfriend, and parents to question them, and learning more about what really happened, as well as using a baseball cap, which gives her clues to tell Charlie where the boy is.

While the truth will be revealed, with the boys facing charges, the story begins to lean toward Wyrick and a man from her past who is determined to kill her. She knows her life is in danger, and despite her attempts to warn him, the threats against her escalate. Once again, Charlie will have to find Wyrick and hopefully save her life.

What follows is an exciting, suspenseful, action packed thriller that was so very well written by Sharon Sala. The last half of the book was tense and emotional, with lives on the line. I did love the team of Charlie and Wyrick. If you enjoy mysteries, suspense, great characters, then you should read Blind Faith.

Mägimatkal jääb kaduma 17aastane noormees. Matkakaaslased aga väidavad, et Tony Dawson lahkus öösel nii, et teistele midagi ei öelnud. Eradetektiiv Charlie Dodge on keskendunud koos oma alluva Wyrickiga just kadunud laste juhtumitele.

4.5 stars. Quite a bit packed into this fast paced story: action, drama and emotions. This is the beginning of the big shift this addictive and unusual series has been building up to since book 1. Can't wait to see how the author wraps it all up in book 4.

If you are looking for a book to help you forget about your worries for a while, I highly recommend this book. I am the sort of person that likes to read a series from the beginning but this book is the best in the series and contains enough background that I don't think you will feel like you are missing out. Charlie Dodge is a PI and former Army Ranger. His specialty is finding missing persons. His assistant Jade Wyrick is a marvel. You may have to suspend disbelief a little bit because she has superhero type of qualities but there is an explanation for that. Jade's friend describes her as "She is a broken child with the heart and stamina of a warrior, and most likely the most brilliant mind on the face of the earth." Both Jade and Charlie are fierce in caring about other people and wanting to help them. Your time with these characters will be well spent.

I don't usually write reviews on books I read but this one hit it out of the park for me. If you haven't read any of the "The Jigsaw Files" book you are in for a real treat. When I read the review on the first book in this series I wasn't sure I was going to be a win for me, but Boy was I ever glad I did.
This book has it all suspense, mystery, PI, and just to top things off one woman who is a Bad to the bone (Wonder Woman watch out)! I can't tell you to much or it will spoil the mystery for you but I guarantee you will not be disappointed in one of the books in this series. Great Job! Sharon

Wow, they keep getting better

Sharon Saks knocked it out of the park. So sorry for their losses, but how they are going to move forward is going to be a great adventure. Look forward to all of her books, but will definitely keep preordering this series, like her others. Very happy to recommend this bok , but you should read the previous two in order first.

This is probably my favorite book in the series so far. And it is packed! This is a full five course meal of a book.

First and foremost, we have Charlie and Wyrick taking on a new job. Three teenage boys go camping/hiking and only two come back. What really happened out on that trail? And Can Charlie/Wyrick find the missing boy before it is too late?

Just like in the previous two books that centered on missing persons cases, Charlie and Wyrick have a special rhythm when working their case that is simple and methodical PI work. Also since Wyrick is the result of a shady corporation that basically built her from the DNA out, she has a bunch of other special little skills that come in handy when helping to solve cases. We also get POVs of the family members and school friends to help round out the story.

This would have been enough for one whole story but then this book also deals with a one-two sucker punch for Charlie and Wyrick. Charlie's wife Annie's battle with early onset Alzheimer's has taken a turn for the worse and Wyrick finds out some devastating news about the only person other than Charlie that she counts as a friend. These personal developments get a lot of real estate in the book and affect Charlie and Wyrick in their own separate ways. We get to see them grapple with their own griefs separately but also support each other. There is such a great conversation in a parking lot where they both affirm, without frills or ceremony, but with deep conviction 'I got your back."

But that's not all.... The shady corporation, Universal Theorem (UT), that created Wyrick, murdered her mother, treated her like a lab experiment, discarded her when she got cancer for not being 'perfect' and then tried to get her back after she survived it -- are still after her. While she had put a spanking on their leader time and time again, the stakes have gotten massively higher and he isn't out to simply get her back, he now needs to kill her. So we get quite a bit of story for this subplot as well -- Wyrick dodging assassination attempts.

And finally we get a humdinger of a fourth act. Wyrick takes the gloves off in an all out assault on UT while Charlie, true to his word has her back in spades.

Through it all we get some great check ins with persons from their previous cases feature in the other two books in the series. And the book ends on such a great note with Charlie and Wyrick, both having undergone a trial by fire, are seeming to start over in a new place in each others' lives.

This almost felt like it could be a conclusion, but that last chapter makes it clear that it is simply the a close of one chapter for these two and prep for the start of a new one.

Really looking forward to the next one.

Listened on audio and the narrator is great.

I would give this book 10 stars if possible. I have read the first two books in this series and they are stories that I could read over and over again. The main story starts as Charlie is asked to find a teen who went missing during a camping trip with his two friends. Charlie knows that his beloved wife Annie is close to dying from complications associated with Alzheimer's. Wyrick, Charlie's assistant and secretary, is dealing with the possible loss of her dear friend and landlord Merlin. As another attempt on her life is foiled, she is determined to finally make Cyrus pay for what he has done to her and others. This is a story that you need to know how it ends, but you don't want it to end. Wyrick serves up justice as Charlie has her back. An absolutely amazing series - a must read! I was not asked to review this book, but needed to do so. (by paytonpuppy)

Really enjoyed this one. There were several cases within the story and Jade Wyrick's issues come to a head. There are also some sad personal moments that both main characters have to deal with. Love Wyrick's snarky & straight forward personality....she doesn't take crap from anyone. Charlie appreciates her abilities and I think genuinely enjoys her being in his life. They work well together. I'm looking forward to the upcoming release of book 4, The Last Straw.

Blind Faith

This was an awesome book. I was so excited when I saw there was another Jigsaw Files book out. I couldn't wait to read it. I love Charlie and Wyrick and this book was even better then the previous ones. While we still get cases from the Dodge Agency, this book deals a lot more with their personal lives. An excellent story.

Excellent

Another phenomenal story written by Sharon Sala. Sharon has shown us the readers she has a gift, a gift of writing stories that keeps us wanting more. I experience the gambit of emotions in reading Ms Sala’s stories. I get drawn in to the stories and continue even after I finish. Her characters seem like real people. Good and bad.

This book is third in a series. Each book is a fantastic story about a PI Charlie Dodge and his partner/office manager (and so much more) Wyrick, who find missing people with developing stories of their own.

Thank you again Sharon Sala. I thank you.

Enjoyable

I have to say I wholeheartedly enjoyed this book. I am hopeful the author will follow up with another book with these two main characters. If so, I will look forward to reading it; if not, I will just use my imagination to how I want these characters to evolve in the future.

I absolutely adored this book! I preordered the book and it was on my Kindle this morning. I couldn't put the book down. You need to have some tissues ready for this one. I did not want this book to end and hope there is another book in this series. I highly recommend the entire series! Sharon Sala is a master storyteller!

Wow! Yet another great read by Sharon Sala. I often read a book by one of my favorite authors without reading the blurb so I'll be completely surprised by what unwinds between the covers. That is exactly what I did with Blind Faith and boy was it one amazing read! I love the way this book is not about just one mystery as many Murder/Mystery and Suspense books are. Not only is there more than case being solved in this book, there are major issues also going on in the lives of the two main characters.

PI Charlie Dodge and his assistant, Wyrick have become two of my all-time favorite characters of Sharon Sala's, they make quite the dynamic duo! In this book Wyrick almost takes on the ability to put her in SuperHero status! Sala has written another amazing plot line for Charlies and Wyrick and left me completely satisfied with having read this book! Sala always delivers a topnotch Murder Mystery and I couldn't put this book down! Sala is one of my favorite Murder Mystery writers of all time! I just love the way Charlie and Wyrick read off of each other without either of them having to say what needs to be said. Well except in the romance department, they suck at that part of their lives. I often want these two to become a couple but then I think, would that completely mess with their abilities to work together so well on cases. Would romance and love completely throw them off track in their PI world?!?!

Wonderful entertaining story!

Blind Faith is the third book in this series. The story was excellent in every way. I just finished reading it and already want to re-read it. Such an amazing heroine! Jade was one fantastic heroine! Charlie was equally amazing. The information about what his wife went through with Alzheimer 's disease was heartbreaking and so informative. The story in this book is wonderful, informative, entertaining and so much more! I have now read the first three books in the series and can only say this is one magnificent series and I Highly recommend this series to everyone! Ideally the books should be read in the order they were written! That being said, I read the fourth book first. It was an excellent read and caused me to want to go back and read the series from the beginning! So, readers you can do whatever you want in reading this series. You will enjoy it no matter what order you read the books!

I enjoyed reading this book by Sharon Sala. I listened to the Audible version, and kept finding places to go so I could listen in peace.
This is my first book in this series, but I plan to go back and catch up with book one and book two.
I immediately fell for Charlie Dodge, and oh my goodness, Wyrick! Pepsi and chocolate are two things we have in common as well as…well, there’s nothing else. I wouldn’t trade my world for hers, but what a wonderful character, and Sharon Sala is a master of revealing all the facets of a character at the perfect time.

There are some touching scenes, several tense moments and some fun ones, too. I laughed and cried reading this book.

I’m ready for MORE of The Jigsaw Files series.
