LOGAN No one messed with Logan Slade and lived to tell the tale. Joel Clarion thought he could get away with stealing from him. Now, Logan will turn the tables. He’ll take his money, his ability to make money, his woman, and when he’s lost it all, Logan will take his life.
MIA Trapped in the life of violence, Mia will do whatever it takes to protect her daughter. If it means risking her life to help Logan Slade take down the bane of her existence, she’ll risk it all to give her daughter a chance at a better future.
Contains strong language, violence, and sexual content. Reader’s discretion is advised.
Four in One is part of Escaping the Mafia, a six-book series with an ongoing story weaving throughout each book. Four in One is a complete story with an HEA that can be read as a stand alone, but the final book in the series is most satisfying if all books are read.
Writing about dangerous women, antiheroes, the biggest stars, and a little magic.
Sophia Peony is a writer from San Francisco. As a former ESL student, she used to hate reading and writing. It wasn’t until college that she learned to tolerate the arts of English because she accidentally chose a major that was all about writing papers. Figures! After four years of writing research papers, she began to love writing, and decided to explore creative writing. She published her first book in 2018. When she’s not writing, she’s a corporate fodder who is an Asian drama addict. She has a cat obsession and will befriend any cat she meets.
Mia and Logan band together in order to each get what they want. In the end, they also get what they need in each other. It's short but hot but most of the story focuses on the actual mafia plot which is nice but would have loved to see more of Logan and Mia together.
Four in One has a different feel to me, though no less amazing to be honest. Most mafia books have more romance sprinkled in, but this one really spotlighted the violent world of crime families. Logan is quite the bad a**, who you don't cross ever, or you end up dead. Mia is a strong woman, although she doesn't have as much going in the spotlight. They do have some serious chemistry that explodes into intensely HOT sexy times, but most of the focus is on Logan's life, so there's so much action that I never thought my heart rate would slow down. I don't want to get into a ton of details, since this one has some serious twists which kept the f-bombs dropping right & left, so just hit those one click buttons! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
This is a well written mafia read with strong characters and an interesting story line. This is centered mainly on Logan and his life in the mafia. The author gives him and Mia a strong connection and steamy chemistry and moves the story quickly and smoothly, throwing in a few twists along the way. I loved and would recommend this book.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review, I have been following and reading this author for some years and I am always satisfied with what I read, and this is not the exception, even though the story is short I liked the plot, the protagonists Logan and Mia, the stages, etc. just one thing, I wish it had more romance. Yes I recommend it, read it you will like it
So this book has more action than the others so far, and I wasn’t disappointed.... at all! Logan & Mia make a great team. They work together to get what they both want. I do wish this book was longer bc I was really into these characters!
This may have been a quick read, but it wasn't short on the action! Strong storyline and characters made for a great reading experience. I have enjoyed these standalone books in the Escaping the Mafia series.
This is the first book that I have read by Sophia Peony and I absolutely loved it as mafia books are my favourite and this one didn't disappoint. There are twists and turns that have you turning the page's to see what happens next. Even though this is a shorter story I still recommend it as it is so well written. I Voluntarily Reviewed an ARC Copy Of This Book.
