Condemned to work on a Texas ranch alongside Phobos, Deimos, and Cupid, Ellie tries everything within her power to win over the hearts poisoned against her, to no avail. Frustrated and jealous of the rancher's daughter, Ellie's love turns to hate. The tension in the old shack they're forced to call home rises along with their passions, and a series of violent sexual encounters with the brothers begets Ellie's despair. As she spirals into the darkness, Ellie becomes her own worst enemy until a new shack-mate lifts her spirits and changes the dynamics between her and the brothers once again.

A fine line between love and hate. That's what Ellie, Phobos and Deimos are learning. Do they hate her or do the love her? Guess you'll have to read the book to find out, I'm not telling! Phobos picks up right where Eros left off, with the 4 of them at the ranch. Great character development. Light erotic scenes so definitely not for younger teens. Cannot wait until I get my paws on Deimos, the final book in the trilogy.

I was given a copy of the book free in exchange for an honest review.

I liked this book more than I liked the first. With Ellie and the brothers in Texas, emotions and passions run high and you fall in love with the new characters Eva introduces, the Garcia's, the owners of the ranch. Eva has a way with words to make you feel like you are there. You are left wanting (and rooting) to fight along with the "rebels" and fall in love with Hades and his family yet again (if you have read her "Gatekeepers" saga...which I also HIGHLY recommend you read if you haven't).

I would still not recommend this book for young audiences though as there is still some VERY passionate and erotic scenes, though to me, it was toned down a little bit more than the first book, which I really appreciated.

It is too bad that Ellie, Cupid, Deimos, and Phobos were being punished for something that Cupid did. They made the best of the situation and Phobos and Deimos both loved Ellie and also shot by the arrow of hate. The 2 arrows were fighting each other, one arrow was hate and one was love. For awhile Phobos hated Ellie but then finally he loved Ellie as much as his brother. So the gods took Ellie, she claimed her purpose and became a goddess then the gods took her prisoner. But the some of the other gods snuck her out of her prison and hid her. She is also pregnant with twins. Hopefully things will get better in the next book.

This series just keeps getting better and better. It is jammed packed with twists and turns, lies and betrayal. It full of drama and a bit of mystery. It is extremely well written and the characters just keep growing. I love Ellie and her beautiful, sweet, caring soul. Phobos is a love hate type of relationship of a person but even he is growing. Deimos is not seen as much but still shows so much strength. The cast of characters is fantastic no matter if the are on the good side or bad. The descriptions are still vivid and absolutely amazing. I am super excited for the book in the series. This is one series that is definitely meant to be read.

Can i give 1,000,000 million stars? Yes it's that good!!!!
Intricately detailed, with so much heart gah! This storyline keeps sucking me in. I am fully invested now- more than ever!

Oh my gods and goddess! I am loving this take on greek mythology. Zeus needs a kick in the pants! Such a butt! I truly can see everything so detailed through Eva's words. What an ending. Oh my goodness! I can't wait to see what is going to happen. I hope we don't have to wait long.

If you haven't read this new series you need to. And when you're done. Read all of her books!!! Such an awe inspiring author!

I love Eva Pohler and I flew through this book because the writing is excellent. I think any issues I have with the storyline are my own! I wanted to slap each of the main characters so many times for making such terrible decisions. We were presented with a cliffhanger ending so I can't wait to dig into the next book even though I'm already cringing at how bad these people are going to screw everything up! I really am curious how Eva will get her characters out of this mess she's created for them....

Well now it’s getting very interesting with the Gods stripped of their powers. I’m am completely fascinated with each character but also get angry at them at the same time!! Stubborn they all are at times but love love love them too!! I don’t like giving away too much but I bet Cupid doesn’t make this mistake again lol oh and living without their powers and all together.... watch out emotions can be heated!!!! Eva is an awesome writer and I am thoroughly enjoying this series and I’m ready for more. Can’t wait to read the 3rd book!!!

Loved this next installment in the Cupid Captives Series. We pick up where we left on with Phobos, Deimos, Cupid and Ellie on the ranch. They must help the farmer and his family as punishment by the Pantheon Gods. Ellie must find a way to forgive the twins and maybe earn their love back despite the arrows of hate that pierced their hearts. There is also the question of the prophet with surrounds her. The group will encounter many adventures and might just find their way back to each other.

This 2nd story in the Cupid's Captive series gets deeper into the tale, as second stories are wont to do. Ellie, the twins, and Eros are sent to a Texas ranch, stripped of all god powers, for 6 months. After 3 months, Ellie must declare a purpose or remain mortal and risk being killed.

We do learn Ellie's purpose by the end of this book, along with some astonishing news...

In summation, Eva Pohler has another win under her belt.

Phobos
Picking up right up where the last book ended is Phobos. I hate spoilers but I can say it’s intriguing to read interactions between gods and humans as well as how they handle situations in how Eva Pohler would imagine them acting. Especially when it comes to hard work and labor at a ranch. When a book can elicit a roller coaster of emotions and leave you wanting more you know it has done its duty. Greek mythology fiction is addictive!!!!

Amazing. I couldn’t put it down. The story line is great and it keeps you entertained and engaged. You never really know who is on who’s side. I love that they all seemed to get use to working on the farm and wanted to continue helping out. Having Ellie become pregnant and with twins was an exciting twist. I can’t wait to find out which brother is the father and what happens next.

I finished reading this book in an afternoon! It was so awesome that I couldn't put it down. The romance between the two brothers and Ellie is so sweet. Eva makes you fall in love with the twins as well. The wait for the next book is too long and I cannot wait to see how the series ends!!

Oh my goddess you've done it again with this amazing and heart warming story. The way you bring life into the each person in the story makes me want to live in each book forever. Ellie is such a beautiful soul how she always wants to help others and does everything in her own way to inspire them to see she was correct with her decision. As always Zeus is thinking someone wants to take Mount Olympus from him. This is how he has and will always be. Hades is always wanting balance with his wife by his side. There are some really funny parts in the story as well when Cupid and Ellie get chased by a bull while they are working out their punishment and a farm in Southern Texas in the August heat. If you read the first book in the series this one just wait for all the twist and turns and awesome yet scary surprises for Ellie and the Twins who are in love/hate with her.
