The plot had potential. It would be better if the plot was more consistent, like how H try to kidnap h for get back to her father but the father had never cared about h; or h's greatfather and father threat H but it turned out they were not so powerful at all.

Good
The jury is still out on how good this story really is,from the beginning we are pulled in to a situation that looks as if there is going to be trouble. The starts out really good,this story was reading like one of those old black and white gangster movies and somewhere it goes down hill. I think a few steps are missing,just wasn't given enough time to invest in the characters and their problems. It was an okay read just not really good.

Can you say DIRTY?!
Carmine has got a potty mouth on him and Jasmine loved it just as much or more than I did.
Another spectacular read by Coco Miller.
She is quickly working her way up my favorite authors list.
I woulf highly recommend.

Good girl for a bad boy
Although I felt there could have been more character and plot development I did enjoy this book for what it is. If you are looking for a revenge mafia romance without the senseless graphic violence and lots passionate hot sex this is the one for you.

Pretty good
This book started out hot as fire. The revenge plan. The dirty talk. The intimate scenes. All explosive. Until it wasn’t. The wrap up was like an unexpected fall off of a cliff. Carmine made a complete 180 and not in a good way.

Had potential
*Spoilers*
This story had so much potential. It's a short read that should take two hours to finish. It took me 2 days. For most of the book we are reading from Carmine's point of view and what a narcissist misguided a##hole.
Of course he falls in love with Jasmine who also was kinda insufferable.
The climax of the story is lackluster and I don't understand how he was able to fake his own death but still wield the power of the Mafia.
Of course she takes him back and the book ends.
The story is missing information. For instance what's the age of everyone. Jasmine comes off really young. Carmine is older but not really. What happened to Jasmine after Carmine let her go.
How did their fathers react to everything.
I gave 3 stars for the effort and potential. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend this book.

Disappointed read
Although this story has the potential from the blurb to be an exciting read , sadly it was more about sex, sex and yet again more sex. I just felt Ms. Miller could have made so much more with Carmine's very violent past and current position. The heroine was not much better. The ending was yet again a sex scene. It became tedious. And abrupt. Then an additional free read for the epilogue - tagged in as an afterthought but it was two pages. Why bother! It would have been more appropriate to add it to the end of the book.
This is not up to Ms Miller's usual standard, having read two off her Bravta books. So I am somewhat disappointed. However, I will go back and Sallie in more of her Bravta books.

Carmine Volta wants revenge, and he thinks he’s going to get it in the form of Jasmine Morris. However, Jasmine is her own surprise, and Carmine can’t resist her.
I don’t know what this novel was supposed to be, but I saw that ending before the first chapter was over. I love it though, because fictional obsessive heroes are really great.
Technically Carmine is not a hero, but it is what it is.
If you just want a quick read with a simple plot and plenty of sex, this one is for you.

Enjoyable
OMG I really enjoy this dual POVs and how inside their heads the author allows you to be of course it makes me feel like I'm right there. I enjoyed how these two characters push and pull a fire between the two which gets under my skin. It's a fast paced plot that will have you panting for more you may even want a fan or two. It walked the line of being dark but it's also fun and captivating. I think my favorite part was their banter and how I could never guess what was going to happen next. A wild and fun ride that you can enjoy.

Inferno hot
Coco was right for most of the book I did not like Carmine but I must say he was hot as hell🔥🔥. In the end he came through when it counted so he wasn’t all bad. There were times I didn’t like how easy Jasmine was and naive she was but for the most part I liked her. If your looking for a quick sexy read with a flawed hero with a heart this book is for you. I have read several of Coco’s books and they are always entertaining. Until next time y’all happy reading.

A decent story.
I like how it started. Jasmine and Carmine's story drew me in quickly. I was expecting more of a plot filled with romance and danger. The ending was a little disappointing. I felt things were missing to explain what Carmine did, considering his history. There are steamy scenes. Overall, I did like it.

I was with you in the beginning. But then story started jumping around the transitions are Very confusing and not consistent. This story has great potential maybe need to be a little bit longer to get the character development answer the transition more smoothly.

It was a good story. Not much action when it comes to mob/mafia stories but the romance and of course sex was there. I am glad that Jasmine and Carmine got their HEA.

Some plans were meant to fail
Entertaining and believable. Carmine wanted revenge; and using Jasmine as a means for that revenge was his goal. But destiny had better plans.

I really enjoyed another book from this author 'Viktor', loved it in fact so I had high hopes for Carmine. Perhaps it is my fault as subconsciously I was comparing the alphas, the scenarios, their character, but I didn't like this story. I love mafia-style stories, sometimes, the grittier the better, but this story, the interactions between Carmine and Jasmine made me feel like I need a shower. Ms. Miller does warn that Carmine is no hero, and that isn't my issue; it's Carmine's personality, his "dickishness" and Jasmine's over-the-top innocence, being treated like absolute roadkill by Carmine then allows him to waltz back into her life. Hell, even he is surprised what does that say. I'm going to let this one story stop me from reading some of Ms. Miller's other books because as I mentioned, I was enthralled with the novel 'Viktor' - it's "dog-eared"! (difficult to do with a kindle :).

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Carmine wants revenge on Charles, he did not want war with all of mafia. Carmine ended up getting Jasmine the man he seek revenge on. The chemistry between them is intense, the rollercoaster ride of emotions that makes you feel more.

Okay revenge plot but did not hit the sweet spot
CARMINE is the first book in the new Andolini Crime Family series by Coco Miller. The book description looked really interesting so I thought this might be a winner. However, the story only lived up to about half of it's potential for me. There are twists and turns along with darkness and and chemistry but it just does not ignite and burn it all down.
Carmine was not only a mob boss who is deadly but he is an azz under it all. He is wronged by Jasmine's father but unable to make him pay for it. So instead he plots revenge by taking and seducing young Jasmine and taking her V-card. She works as a waitress at the strip club her grandfather owns and that Carmine runs. His plan is to tell Jasmine everything afterwards and destroy her, thus hurting her father by proxy.
In the end will he be able to destroy her or will he be destroyed himself?

Carmine is a dark, vengeful mafia romance focusing on Carmine Volta, the boss of the Androlini crime family, and Jasmine Morris, the virgin daughter of another mafia crime family which Carmine has a business deal. Carmine reeks revenge upon Jasmine’s family by taking and seducing her.
This book has a great mafia plot and very descriptive characters. The novel contains suspense, violence, revenge, betrayal, romance, and steamy chemistry. I highly recommend this book for purchase.

The storyline was promising, but then writing was ...not good. I felt like I was reading a porno, which can be fine, but the character development was so severely lacking. There was absolutely no humor or believable moments. I kept waiting for Jasmine to have any backbone or personality. She was basically a human blowup doll virgin whore with advanced techniques and no self preservation skill. The action felt like it was told to us after the fact. I skimmed through boring parts. Glad it was free. The grammar was good for a quick adult novel.

An Intense first book in the Andolini Crime Family series! It is a fast pace engaging page-turner; well written, emotionally deep, witty, action packed, and funny with a well-developed, consistent plot. The characters are well developed and believable; the chemistry between them is potent and off the charts. Definitely recommended.
