A Twenty-Five-Cent Investment by Hartley S. Connet is a well-written memoir about the author's religious awakening. As a young boy, the author had a pretty blessed life, until one day his family received troubling news. It was after this that the young lad made his way into a church and from that day, things changed in a big way. This is the perfect tale that illustrates how your life can change in an instant and shows how God has an impact on your life both in the good times and through the challenging times. Read along as you witness the spiritual adventures the author has gone on throughout his life. Highly recommend.

A Twenty-Five-Cent Investment in God by Harley S Connett is a memoir of short chapters remembering special moments when God made a big impact in his life. He didn't grow up in a church-centered family, but God put events in his life that directed his path. From a quarter as a child to a drawn-out conversation with one of God's messengers, Hartley chose a life looking for opportunities to serve the Lord and to train His children. I found his stories endearing and encouraging. His message will continue even when he is gone.

I enjoyed this short testimonial of God's working throughout the author's life. Many good vignettes documenting miracles of healing, angel visitations, etc.
