Camilla’s father is the kind of man, that takes what he wants. He runs a drug ring down by the border, but someone wants his territory and they are willing to kill for it. Alonzo, Damien’s second in command, must find Camilla and keep her safe. He knows that if a move is made on Damien, his family is next, which means that Alonzo had to get to her first. He promised Damien that he would take care of her, but that becomes harder to do than he realized. The crush that he’s had on Camilla all these years, comes to a head the first night they are alone together. She was always off limits, but now there was no one there to stop him, from getting what he truly desired.

Another success!
Love this series! Such a dichotomy between wanting to save her, yet wanting to defile her! An interesting scenario written quite well!
