A professor student second chance.

My favorite in this series by far.

Allison “Ally” has to take a class during summer to amend her F she got while forgetting to actually attend a clsss (that’s high school, but suspend your disbelief).
So for the next eight weeks she’s getting private lessons from Professor Janes Hardy.

Janes is a total Clark Kent, glasses and all. When he was younger, he definitely had an awkward stage. Now, he’s in his second year teaching history and he’s has to give private lessons to Ally.

Only, he and Ally have a secret. They dated for three months a year ago. But now that she’s graduating (with his private lessons) he’s going for it. Since he ended it, this is a perfect opportunity to get back in her shorts.

So, it’s eight weeks at his beach houses.
Sweet and steamy.
Recommend. Cuz James is just adorbs.

Ally and James had a taboo teacher/student relationship but he called it off. Watching her leave was hard but thought it was best. Ally had her heart broken by James and don't fully understand why he pushed her away.

Thanks to a missed class and a professor with a family emergency. These two have 8 weeks to work it out.

It's a fast passed, sticky sweet 2nd chance. I love the bit of roll reversal going on. Ally is a woman on a mission and it's not to learn about the Declaration Of Independence. But to show her Professor she only has eyes for 1 and not letting him go again. James also learns in this as well, when you have a good thing don't let your past talk you out of your future. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.

It was a cute short story and I liked that they had some past which makes them come together again. I would have loved to know more about their past but also more about their future. But I enjoyed the book.

My professor is book five in the man card series. This book is the first book of this series that I have read. It is also the first book of Terra Kelly’s that I have read. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout.
When Ally forgets to attend a certain class, she needs to attend summer school to be able to graduate. Ally soon gets a surprise when she finds out who will be teaching her during the summer. Her ex.. The man that broke her heart.
Professor James Hardy wasn’t happy about a private teaching class during summer until he learns he will be teaching his ex. Breaking up with Ally was the hardest thing James ever had to do but he is a teacher and she a student. Now he has her to himself for eight weeks and with her graduation approaching, she can now be his. All he has to do is convince her to give him a second chance.
The chemistry between Ally and James was clear to see and I liked them as a couple. I also liked that James was a nerdy guy. He wasn’t a guy that got called handsome until before Ally came into his life. I found James insecurities cute. I loved that Ally made him see how good he was.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an enjoyable read. I cannot wait to read more books from this series.

Summer school at the beach

Ally completely missed taking a class during her final semester at college. Not a big issue but she needs the credit hours. So instead she has to take the missed class over the summer and the only option is to do it in a private session............so one on one with a professor. Turns out that she and the professor have a history. James had taught another class that Ally had taken 2 years ago and they had a relationship for that semester. However, he broke it off at the end of the semester because he was afraid that if they were found out then his career would be over before it even really started and she would also have an issue.

These two cannot keep their hands off each other and before you can even let out a full breath they are driving away to his beach cottage for the next 8 weeks of classes. They do have a lot of fun which barely includes any teaching/learning of history.

My Professor is a quick run read that has laughter, interesting characters including the secondary characters, lots of hot and window fogging steamy chemistry and a nice story about grabbing the second chances that come our way.

I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

Ally is getting ready for graduation and learns that she forgot to take a history class. So she needs to take it over the summer. in order to graduate on time. James if the professor filling in for the original professor and he isn't happy especially when he learns he came back from vacation for one student. However when he sees that it is Ally he is completely on board with it. Ally and James had a thing with each other but he ended things because of the risk. Well now that the countdown for her to graduate is upon them he has taken her off his off limits list and goes for what he has been wanting. Ally is shocked when she learns who her teacher is but she rolls with it. When James lets her know that they'll be having class at his beach cottage it excites and worries her somewhat. James sees this as his chance to finally get the woman he wants. Will they be able to keep their relationship a secret? Can James show Ally he is serious this time?

This is a great story that will draw you in from the first page. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

And here we go again... Terra Kelly is on fire and her books are coming super fast... Not that I'm complaining... The more I have, the more I want...
Her writing is sweet and beautiful and now with a touch OK kinkiness... It's the perfect combination.
My Professor is her latest release and it's the fifth book from the Man Card series... And what a series this has been...
This new book explores the lives of Ally and
Ally was about to graduate but to do so she needs to retake.
James Hardy is a history teacher that was given the task to teach just one student instead of enjoying his beach house. And then...
It was sweet, steamy, intense and hot... Oh boy... So hot. It was a joy to read.
Fantastic plot, very well written, super engaging and intense. Once I started it I wasn't able to put it down.
But it wasn't enough. I wanted more... I still do.
It was a joy to read and I didn't want it to end.
Terra, please don't take to long to give us the next one. I want more.

Ally and James have history and not all of it is good. When Ally finds out she accidentally forgot to go to an elective her last year of college she is mortified in order to get credit she has to take a summer course. On the first day she walks in to find none other than her ex flame teaching the class. James ended their affair due to university rules her being a student and him being a professor was a big no no but he always regretted his decision. Now he has a second chance and he is not letting it slip through his fingers. Over a steamy summer these two reignite their smoldering flame and realize that they belong together. This was a sweet story of second chances and a little bit of destiny. Good book and sweet characters.

This is another cute and easily read story in the Man Card series. Ally needs only one class in order to graduate but somehow she forgot to go to history class. Now she can't graduate unless she takes the class this summer. She gets the class but she's the only student but she doesn't know it. When she goes to class, she finds that out plus the fact that the Professor is James Hardy that she'd had a relationship with months before. He's happy that she's the only one in the class and decides that they should go to his beach cottage. He manages to teach her the information to pass along with progressing their relationship. I like how you get a whole story without it seeming rushed even though it's easily read in an evening.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the fifth book in the Man Card series. In this book, Ally finds out she needs another credit to graduate after she forgot to attend a history class. Ally arranges to take the class over the summer and is shocked when she finds out the professor is James, the professor she had a fling with. James and Ally were together briefly until James told her it was over. Ally never really recovered and still has feelings for James. James knows this is his chance to get Ally back. They decide to go to James' summer home to reconnect and spend the summer while Ally learns history. I really liked this book. I liked Ally and James together and think they really loved each other. Good one.

This was another great addition to the Man Card Series by Terra Kelly. Imagine Ali's shock when she learns because she forgot to attend one of her classes, she won't be graduating. The last thing she wants to do is attend summer school. However, things become very interesting when she meets her professor. He is none other than her ex from a few months ago. Janes is what I would describe as sexy geek. When he learns Allison is going to be his only student for a private tutoring session, he knows this is his chance to the girl he never should have let get ahead. He won't let his fear and insecurities keep them apart this time. Sweet and steamy times at his beach cottage!!! 5 stars!!!

This was a super short but mini hot romance. This is book 5 of the man card series but can be read as a stand alone.

Because this was a novella, it seemed rather rushed. This would have made a great longer book with more details. Was too short for me to become emotionally attached to the characters. Written as a 1st person, multi pov with a HEA. Nice story line (would have loved more). Good characters, what details there were, done nicely, and engaging dialogue.

All in all, a nice read.

Would I recommend this book? Yes

Would I read more form this author? Yes

Another great short story from Terra Kelly. This is book 5 in the man card series and a delightful addition. I loved the magnetism between the two main characters Ally and James - they literally couldn't keep their hands off each other. I also liked the brief appearance of Professor James' mother - she was a very likeable character. The back story made this more interesting and plausible that a student and a professor would have one on one history lessons at a private beach house. Their history together made this possible. I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. Needless to say I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading other Man Card Series books :)

Another cute quick read and the fifth book in the Man Card series. Ally need to make up a class she forgot about to graduate. She would rather spend her summer at the beach but has to take this history class she. Professor James was looking forward to spending his summer at his cottage house but has to fill in for Professor Dans. The student requested a private session to learn about the Declaration of Independence. Ally and James have sizzling chemistry, great banter and their storyline was well written. Loved the book it was great the story was well written and the characters were interesting. James is Ally's professor, they were in a relationship for a short time before he ended it. Ally could not work out what happened between them and ended up forgetting to go to class, but she needed this class to pass. James is the professor that is teaching Ally everything she needs to know to pass this class.

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this quick story about Ally and James. She forgot to attend a class she needed to graduate college, so now she's taking a summer course. So image her surprise when the professor teaching it is none other than Professor Hardy, a man she has feelings for. James was surprised when finding out Ally was his student for the private session. He messed up when he called their relationship off due to him being afraid. Great HEA.

A Steamy Second Chance

Another quick and steamy read in the Man Card Series.
I enjoy teacher-student romances and Ally and James make one steamy couple. I liked that James manned up and spoke to Ally about their past and His feeling for her. Also glad that Ally listened and was willing to take that second chance. They were perfect for each other.
I really loved the extra epilogue. A great quick and easy story that will leave you with a smile.

This teacher/student romance was a good read. I liked the flow of the story, and the chemistry between Ally and James. A quick, hot read that was fun. There was also an opportunity to receive a bonus epilogue story that continues after Ally and James' original story ends, so you can read up on them years later.

I love the Man Card series

My Professor is the story of how Ally and James get a second chance. He broke things off a year ago and when he sees Ally’s name on his summer class roster, he knows this is his chance to get her back. Will she still want him or has it been too long? Grab this fast, steamy read and see what happens.

When Ally discovers that she forgot to attend a class and needs to spend her summer taking classes, she becomes desperate.
But when she finds out who the teacher is, things get really interesting.
Ally and Professor James have had a case in the past, and now it's their chance to fix things.
This is a quick and funny story to read. I loved the epilogue too. I recommend the reading.
