Before Delilah arrived he'd made up his mind to leave Clifton and his legacy in pursuit of better opportunities, but she has him rethinking his future. Fall Feels is one of those stories that hits home in a special way. As a teacher, I empathize with and understand the unease of the first day of school, especially when it's the very first day of a career. Delilah is filled with all the excitement of meeting her class and being able to impart her wisdom on her students. Wouldn't you know, there's a problem with the lantern she showed in class starts on fire! To the rescue comes Brad, a part-time fire fighter and barista. He's the first guy that Delilah felt could possibly be the one, but now she's the reason there's a fire in her classroom! The story is really engaging and it takes you on a journey through your memories of school days. Braxton is a very special character whose personality unfolds wonderfully and all of the characters are multi-layered and quite believable. A nice, sweet and clean romance!
This was a cute clean young adult fall romance. Delilah's experiences as a first year middle school teacher made me appreciate all that teachers have to deal with from students, parents, and administrators and how exhausting the job can be. It's not a profession I would want to be in. But I'm glad she didn't give up on her troubled student Braxton. Her love interest Brad the coffee shop guy and volunteer firefighter was sweet and supportive. I feel the same way Delilah does about scary things. I have no desire to go in a haunted maze and I don't like horror movies. Her fellow school teacher friends are nice and I'm looking forward to their stories.
This book was so fun, funny, and adorably LOL identifiable; in the best way! As a teacher I have lived those moments of frustration, heartbreak, and embarrassment. Throw in a hot, firefighting bearer of coffee and terrific glitter bearing friends and this book was real-life at it’s finest. A perfect autumn must-read! I received an ARC copy of this book through storyorigin, and I am leaving a voluntary review.
Wow, this is a squeaky clean one. Delilah is a brand new teacher. I like the honesty here, it isn't all perfect or glorified. She struggles and it is realistic. Nick is a volunteer firefighter and coffee shop owner. He is super nice and happy go lucky. There are some shenanigans and some issues but they all come to a happily ever after.
There are great fall activities in here. So many. I loved them.
Lexie and Delilah, college roommates, are once again roommates as they both start their first year of teaching at a middle school in small town Clifton. A student in Delilah's first period class intentionally set a lantern on fire and the school needed to be evacuated. Brad, a volunteer fireman that showed up chewed her out in front of her class. Little did she know that when she stopped for at the Coffee Shack on her way to work a few days later, she would see the "arrogant" firefighter again as he was the barista who handed her her latte and a special treat as an apology for his rudeness on Tuesday. You will definitely want to read this book and enjoy the interactions between Delilah and Brad and her first period science class. This book has it all, the humor, romance, and definitely frustration with middle school students.
I received this book as an ARC and I am voluntarily leaving this review.
This was a very “fun” book & I have a sneaking suspicion that Rosalinda is a teacher when she’s not writing! She describes her kids, her friends & even what she’s wearing so, well that you feel like your right there!
Of course adding a love interest just makes it better! I received this as a free ARC but, my review wasn’t influenced by it! I would recommend this to anyone likes a good romance story!
I liked this book but I felt like Brad was doing all the effort. Delilah was a good woman and all, but I felt like she just used him for when she felt down and needed an helping hand. He was always there for her and was so understanding, he was an exceptional human being. I swoon so had for him, I loved him
I picked this up because the blurb and cover pulled me in. I was looking for a sweet romance that would fill me with lightness, and having read some of Diaz's books before I knew I was in for a treat. This was a beautifully, delightful love story with a few twists and turns hidden among the pages. I very much loved it, and will be diving into the rest of the series. Very much recommended!
Overall a good story and a revamp of this series. Still fun to read and characters still likeable. The story is still intact from fall feels and still a great cozy read. Definitely still worth the read.
This was a cute, funny and engaging story. A sweet HEA with witty dialogue. I really enjoyed the first two books and cannot wait.till Jan. For the third one to release. Clean and engaging story.
Clean romance teacher books seem to be pretty few and far between. When I saw this one I jumped at it. But, I was a little disappointed. It was okay but nothing special.
