Noah Wolf #18

High Treason

Rate this book
With E&E shut down and everyone in hiding, Noah and the rest start to think about retirement, but then an ultra-secret message comes in that tells him to set up a whole new operation in the UK. He and Wally come up with a cover story in the form of a new factory that will house and conceal the new R&D labs, while giving the teams a reason to be traveling around the world.

The problem is that the first missions to come in are necessary to protect the teams from being found out, and they lead to some discoveries of treason in some of the highest levels of the government--and perhaps the end of Allison Peterson.

Another great story

The author has done it again he has created a very exciting dramatic mystery around the government and how it's corruption causes problems that the American people don't know about. It maybe fiction but You begin to wonder sometimes if some of this isn't true great job David

Next generation.

Another brilliant and gripping novel from David Archer.
The ever logical Noah Wolf and his teams are in England following the official break up of E & E.
Their very existence is being used by certain senators to undermine POTUS's authority, in the hopes of causing irreparable damage so the will win the next election.
Allison is under increasing threat, despite her position as director of the CIA she finds herself being attacked from all sides, as she was in charge of E & E and sanctioned their missions.
POTUS arranged for her to be spirited out of the state's by one of Noah's teams, who had just completed one of two missions to eliminate two senators who were a threat to national security.
However four senators, who have many skeletons in their own closets, have found out Noah's location in the UK. The team have utilised Wally's genius to set up a factory manufacturing robotic household 'appliances', as their cover.
This allows them to work as a unit and Wally brings in many of his former team to continue R & D for special projects.
An attempt is made to eliminate all former employees, but it is thwarted by the company's security - who just happen to all be ex SAS!
An excellent book and whilst the above and more is happening Noah and Sarah's baby is born - never a dull moment.
Off to read the next book now.

High Treason it is

Well considering I have read all 18 of these books in the Noah Wolf Series you know I must love this series and this book does not disappoint us. I really loved how David Archer takes the characters out of the country. The organization E&E have been discovered and our forced to disband. A couple of Senators who knew about E&E turned over evidence to a public news agency. This puts the teams in big trouble. Allison has the team go to England in there beautiful English manor. There they devise a way still operate and they figure out a multi million dollar company they can run to help subsidize there E&E team. Amazing how they put it all together and the final ending is amazing.

Very timely story given what's happening today. Noah had his team are still in England hiding out from The Us Senate Majority which eliminated his Organization. Allison Peterson was moved out from her position as E,& E Director to become head of the CIA. The author really understands the Political Process especially concerning Intelligence and National Security. In this book the POTUS is based on the Former POTUS and his not trusting his own Intelligence Agencies, he works behind the scenes with Allison Peterson to continue to defend America. The use of Artificial Intelligence ( a robot) is very well written and really adds to the story.

Current Events

Might there be a group operating in today's world at the behest of some authority in Washington? The woman representative Andrews bears a resemblance of a woman currently active on the political landscape, spreading her poison and disrupting any hope of a united front in the U.S. today. The imagination and insight to the workings of such an organization is insightful and fascinating as put forth in the pages of this book. Delightful reading and sympathetic characters as in Sarah, Norah and the others on Noah's teams.

I Want Smart Appliances, Those Are Awesome

Wow, what a fun and unexpected romp that was. I love the direction this adventure took. All of E&E was in trouble and they were scrambling to survive and come out on the other end. This book is also why I hate politics; you can never be sure who is doing what to whom and for what purpose. Instead of striving for what is best for the country, it's about how much power can I grab. Love that Noah and Sarah now have a family. More please.

Others in the series were better, but,...

I always enjoy reading about Camelot and how they handle the jobs given to them. However, this story almost got only three stars from me because it seemed the writer was more interested in the household robots he thought up than the story of Camelot and the E and E group. Finally, towards the end, it got very interesting again, and that got it four stars! It took long enough to get there!

Brillinat book, fast paced and entertaining
18 books into the series and by this time, most authors fall into a pattern, some how Archer has managed to avoid this and apart from the obvious requirement to repeat some pieces of back story for those that find themselves reading only this book in the series, nothing seems to be that repetitive or boring.
This is one author, I keep on my active list to search for new releases frequently.

David Archer Books

I have read most of David’s book and have never been disappointed in them and can never put them down once I start reading them and can’t wait until the next one comes out they hook me within the first few pages and I enjoy his style of writing.
I highly recommend this author and all his series he just doesn’t write fast enough to keep me happy and entertained. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

It could be that this is the 18th in a series and the first I read but I found it juvenile, simplistic, and trite despite what could have been a weighty subject. The storyline was unbelievably far fetched, the characters were mostly shallow and one dimensional and dialogue seemed directed toward a 14 year old. I can't recommend this book to anyone over the age of 16 and even then with serious reservations.

Love Noah Wolfe Series

Just gets better with every new book written!
The characters are always well developed. I really like the new plot line taking place in the UK with a production facility. Send me one of those machines that does the clothes laundry from beginning to the end and putting away in closets and drawers. What woman wouldn’t want one of those!

Enjoyable Precursor to More

I really enjoyed the storyline setup to the continuation of this series, I was concerned it was coming to an end, and NOW it seems it was fed more life. The backstory of their continuing existence in the UK is also interesting and gives them presence and means. I hope this installment gives this series a much longer continuing presence!

Noah Wolfe

Loved the Noah Wolfe series. Each book has been great. Think I like Noah in charge better than Allison. Love Wally, he is a character. Love what baby Norah will grow up in. Also, think Esmeralda needs a companion robot. Thanks for being a great author. Really enjoy your books.

Didn’t enjoy

Not a very good book. The author spent more time explaining the business that the characters were starting up than he did on the actual adventure. Androids? Really? If I wanted androids and far fetched Inventions I would have read a science fiction book. By the way. I’ve read all of the Camelot books and this is just too much. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Best Book of the series

I think I have read most of these Noah Wolfe series books and believe this is the best one yet. A subtle change to the story line along with the humanness in the book is a great plus. This didn't diminish the action in the book, just made it more realistic.

Great writing Mr. Archer, looking forward to book 19 in this series!

Righting the Wrong

This episode was certainly topsy-turvy. I'm glad those who were wrong received their just rewards. I'm happy the all returned to Feeney Manor. The storyline was fast-moving and kept you on the edge of your seat. Hopefully these many characters are not to be real in today's world. Scary if they are.

Good sequence in this series.

Just finished reading this book in the series and look forward to the next level installment when it becomes available. I have yet to be disappointed with any of the plots and was hesitant to put the book down before I came to it's conclusion. Would highly recommend any of the series to individuals interested in this type of literature.

I have read all the Norah Wolf books, the characters are great and very absorbing, to the point I get carried away and feel part of the adventure. Love the twist and turns, the gadgets are mind blowing at times, and the way they are used in the assignments. Once I start reading I can not Pitt these books down

A bit above the "norm"

Most of the Noah Wolf series have been full of action and intrigue, but this story got a bit unbelievable. Most of us could only connect to the factory workers. I realize these stories are fiction that involve extraordinary lives, but I felt like a total outsider. Just didn't quite connect.

High Treason. David Archer

A group of powerful senators are trying to shut down and eliminate Noah, all of his teams and the organization that he works for. What ensues are devious, treasonous acts to accomplish their agenda. Another stupendous read in this series!! My highest recommendation!!

I was very happy to see that another book in the series is coming. I love the people and stories and hate them to come to the end. I am starting the Sam Pritchett series next.
