Following 9/11 a legion of top secret operators were dispatched to protect the American homeland at all costs. Operating in the dark–independent and unsupervised–these solitary soldiers jumped into the fray. Years later and unable to sustain congressional scrutiny, this risky operation and all of its operatives have been terminated . . . save one. Jack Studder is still out there and he’s not coming in. While the world slumbers in dreams of global economic partnerships, an organization of political whackjobs — The Committee — implements a macabre plot to turn the world into a nightmarish conflagration and then seize the reins of global power from civilization’s ashes. When Jack rubs elbows with D.C.’s glitterati in an attempt to unravel the evil intentions of The Committee, he discovers that he is out of his depth and vulnerable. And then his old buddy Alex Romanesque, who's right in the middle of everything, cooks up a big surprise that’s certain to spoil the party for everyone. With humanity’s fate hanging in the balance, two special operators — one Chinese and one American — work together to prevent the unthinkable. CHARLES D. AMERINGER RATED THE INCOGNITO SERIES FIVE STARS You’re in for a real treat. This ably crafted, well-written espionage thriller of the darkest of black ops will remain an enigma right up to the end; beyond, in fact, because this is just book one of the story. It will take four books in all to solve the puzzle. Is the good guy really a bad guy and is the bad guy really a good guy? You’ll keep guessing as you enjoy the hard-nosed action and earthy DeNiro-Pacino dialog, and just when you think you’ve found the answer, someone will take him or her out and you’re back at square one. How else could it be when ex-CIA assassins freelance, or do they? You may think I’m playing the spoiler here; guess again, because I’m just guessing. The book is that good. It belongs right up there with the big boys, and that’s where this author is going to be, with this one. — Charles D. Ameringer, The Old Spook LESLIE WOLFE RATED INCOGNITO SERIES FIVE STARS It’s got color and it’s got spark! Loved it! The dynamic, the movement, the dialogue. It runs like a movie, one of those quick action flicks that get you to unwind at the end of a bone tired day. It’s smart and well thought through I, for one, won’t stop at Book One. — Leslie Wolfe, Las Vegas Girl, Casino Girl, Las Vegas Crime SHANNON ESPOSITO GAVE THE INCOGNITO SERIES FIVE STARS Okay I have to admit, these Incognito thrillers feel like a guilty indulgence. The story continues and the plot thickens as our flawed but likeable main character, Jack, tries to find the thread of facts that will lead him to the truth. Unfortunately, the facts lead him to a secret group of “Super Patriots.” [In today’s political climate, this term made the hair stand up on the back of my neck.] Adam James ratchets up the tension by placing three enemies together and pulling us into their paranoia until the tension explodes with action. Kudos to the author for not shying away from putting his characters in impossible situations to see how it plays out. Another fun read! — Shannon Esposito, The Burning DENISE BAER RATED LIFE ON THE LAM FIVE STARS A Cast of “Real Characters” Incognito is a thrilling read. It’s full of ‘real characters’, and I mean that in the best way possible. A flavorful cast, who you don’t know whether to befriend or run for the hills.
I think this is a fantastic read about interesting characters who travel all over the world trying to figure out what dastardly deeds The Committee is currently attempting to inflict upon us. I've probably read this story a hundred times. That would be while writing and editing as Adam James.

Incognito Quaterno: A Jackson Studder Espionage Thriller is a collection of Jack Studder stories in one collection. All stories are great as the reader is introduced to a bag of money in the USA and ends up in Western Pacific/East Asia chasing stolen loot and goods. Along the way, the reader is introduced to a myriad of characters, some good and others bad. There are a few deviations with the main characters, new characters added, other characters removed, and the read is left with a great story.
I found this book really entertaining. I took my time to fully digest these stories. I will never look at a fritatto the same again. Thanks to the author for introducing one of my favorite characters, Moy. Wow, what a character.
If you are looking for an action packed book full of intrigue, then this Jack Studder collection is a great suggestion.
