Packed with REALLY helpful and practical advice, Weed Mom is the essential guide for both canna-curious and seasoned cannabis consumers who want to remove the stigma of cannabis and parenting. Highly recommend it (pardon the pun) to all my fellow weed moms. As someone who doesn't smoke but is a HUGE advocate of CBD and edibles for sleep and anxiety --especially during COVID and home schooling, I really appreciate the advice Danielle offers.

This book is so great- well written, funny and approachable without being too dumbed-down. I really enjoyed the authors candor in sharing her experiences too. I highly recommend this book for any “canna-curious” folks out there.

I’m so glad I found this book! The tips in here and Brand’s approach to cannabis education and family dynamics are so helpful. Weed Mom mainstreams cannabis and helps illustrate how using it can be a helpful and moderating force— personally and in the home. Gone are my misconceptions about weed and who it’s for, and, along with them any sense of controversy surrounding this plant. Brand shares her own story as well which personalizes and brings her book to life. I’ve already recommended this book to friends and hope the people who need to read it find it.

I’ve been seeing CBD shops popping up everywhere so I’ve been curious about what’s it’s all about so I picked up this book. This book is informative but a little to informative for me. This book is kinda like the weed dictionary. I can’t remember what I read because it was just too much to take in.

An informative and fun read by an author with a distinct, "chill" voice that fits the subject matter perfectly.

This book is wonderful. Informative but fun to read. Enlightening and educational. I love that the author weaves her own cannabis journey throughout the book! I would absolutely recommend to anyone-even if you do not partake. This is the front lines of a new cultural frontier and we are going to be hearing about it much more as weed is legalized around the country.

From beginning to end the author's voice is conversational and light and feels like you're talking to a friend who imparts knowledge about a still-taboo subject, with humor and wisdom. She weaves a tapestry of her own experience with cannabis, and her transformation for the better. As a creative and a mother, the benefits outlined appealed to me. A thoroughly enjoyable read. Highly (pun intended) recommended.

Never did I think I’d want to sit down and read a book about cannabis, but I really enjoyed reading this one! I love the author’s personal narrative mixed with helpful and research-based information about cannabis. It’s nice to know the stigma is changing, particularly among moms!

I came for the information but stayed for the smart, casual, and unexpectedly funny writing. This book is incredibly informative about the many types and uses of cannabis. The author weaves in all the latest research without ever causing me to check out even once. Her personal story is fascinating and I loved hearing the words of other mothers. This is not just a book for cannabis users. It’s for anyone interested in what it means to live in a world where cannabis is increasingly de-stigmatized and legal. Plus there is tons of information about CBD. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is canna curious, not just moms.

Super timely book as more states are legalizing weed. It's a great mix of lots of specific information for people interested in the legal weed marketplace, while also being really engaging as it weaves in her personal story. And even though the author is clearly a big fan of weed, I also appreciated that she personally shared the perils of addiction, and the toll it has taken on her family--not what you'd expect from a "weed mom." While pitched to "moms," lots of her advice about how pot (in low doses) can help people be better--calmer, more engaged, more creative--parents applies equally to dads. Most of the book would be equally helpful for non-parents, just anyone interested in learning more about the benefits of cannabis and CBD. A great read!

I parent with anxiety, which I already had before Perinatal Mood Disorder stepped in after my son was born 2.5 years ago. It is the most challenging experience of my adult life. Lately I’m wondering what else I can do to supplement my soothing strategies. I’d love to sleep better, to spend my work hours feeling rested and able to focus, and my parenting hours feeling calm and engaged. But my anxiety has been triggered terribly by straight THC in the past, even a really low THC/high CBD blend. Because of this I’ve been reluctant to try straight CBD alternatives.

WEED MOM: The Canna-Curious Woman’s Guide to Healthier Relaxation, Happier Parenting, and Chilling TF Out is helping me sort it all out. I HAVE OPTIONS!

It’s an incredible resource full of science, history, and industry insights, as well as practical tips around safe cannabis use for physical, emotional and mental health.

Plus, it’s a FUN read. It takes a light, conversational tone that makes even stats and hard data feel friendly. I’m really grateful this book is in the world for mom’s like me.

An exploration of cannabis: who can it help, what it may or may not do, when and where you should partake for the first time. An enjoyable examination of the benefits of legal pot as a tool for wellness. The author is very relatable and she presents a wealth of information in an accessible and easily-readable format. Recommended for anyone who partakes in CBD, who is “canna-curious”, or who is interested learning more about this rapidly-expanding industry. I really enjoyed the personal history, and Brand's unique perspective makes this a lively and enjoyable read.

This book really had it all. Even if you are past being canna curious there is so much good info and a new found sense of not feeling alone or being ashamed of being a mom who uses cannabis to mom and life. I definitely recommend this book to moms who are thinking about the option of partaking and to ones that already do. It's definitely a book to pass on to a mom friend who you think may need it.

Second book I read related to weed, and I really liked this one. The claims all have good sources, it talks about the possible shortcomings (I got say I was shocked when I read the first paragraphs of the first chapter, it got me so curious from how the author went from that initial experience to writing this book!). Highly recommend if you are curious about this plant, specially if not just about getting as high as possible (but that is ok too, in moderation as usual).

Hold onto your hats, because this is a DEEP dive into everything weed. The lady has done her research! My only complaint is, I was sort of expecting more of the "mom" side of things, and slightly less of the technical side of things. This book is so comprehensive I really think it should be two books: one for all novices to everything weed, and one for weed moms, which could be more memoir-like.
