First things first: this cover. That scene happened in the middle of the last volume. Why is it the cover of this volume?

Now, that being said, I wish I could give this volume even more than 5 stars. It was just amazing beat for beat. The two Nebbies fly up to meet each other while the four Tapus work together to bring Sun and Moon to Poni Alter. The kids play the magical flutes that cause the Cosmoem to evolve into Solgaleo and Lunala, but Sun rejects Solgaleo instead rushing to the captured Faba with all the money he earned to buy back the island only to find out Faba had been lying to him all along. Money is flying everywhere. A fecking claw pops out and grabs Solgaleo by the face. Solgaleo grabs Sun with its tail and they both get sucked into the portal followed by Moon riding Lunala. Money is floating down all around as Lillie watches the horrifying scene that has just progressed. And then... cut to six months later to Lusamine and her paradise for the Ultra Beasts.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, six months later!? And Sun's 1 million dollars just got left on the ground! 😭
I bet Sun and Moon got transported to Anabel's dimension. I can't wait to find out more about it!
It was very fitting that the Tapu chose Sun and Moon to awaken the legendary sun and moon Pokémon. (Lunala is one of my favorite legendaries. So pretty! 💕)
I also feel really bad for Sun, like, to visit his grandfather (as a child) and then find him dead and find out these strangers have also taken his home. 😥 Lillie and Gladion's father was definitely the person who gave the island to his grandfather!

OK, I’m definitely getting very fuzzy on the plot. There are definitely Pokémon. And bad guys. And two kids and a lot of people they have met.
