I don't know what Danielle is trying to do to us but I thought this was the last book of the series. I was getting all sad just for me to get excited and at the same time wanting to throw my kindle across the room because I STILL NEED TO KNOW what the heck is going to happen next! Danielle knows how to keep her readers on their toes with all the twists, lies, betrayals, and roller coaster of emotions just to be left with wanting more. What is going to happen to Ava and Darkhaven? Danielle, I'm sorry but I need the next book, like now. Please.

I really enjoyed this addition to the series! It started a little slow, but only because it gave you a bit of a recap that I did appreciate. But then it builds and builds until your hit with page turning action that you will fly through.
Finally Ava does what I’ve been waiting for her to do for so long. She chooses a family. You see, she’s been torn for so long, going between the witches who raised her, and the vampires who saved her. And I am happy with her choice!
There’s a hint more romance in this one between her and Jasix that I am here for! And the great friendships continue. But it also came with the anguishing losses. A rollercoaster of a storyline. A great addition to this series. I wouldn’t consider this ending a cliffhanger, but it does open up the possibility for much more. And I’m curious to find out what’s next.
This is book 5 in the continued Darkhaven Saga and should be read in order. I received an ARC for my honest review.

The Darkhaven Saga is one of the best book series of the year. Danielle Rose has a way to keep you hooked from the first page and creates an excitement in you at the end of each installment to start with the next one.
Dark Curse is the fifth installment to the Darkhaven Saga and was absolutely perfect in every way. The dialogues, the setting, scenes and characters made me feel part of the story.
After Ava cast the Dark Spell, things started to change for her and those around her. She isn’t as strong as she used to be and just got weaker as time passes by.
The best option for her is to pretend that everything is okay and to keep secrets from her vampire family. The vampires will do anything to protect her.
Breaking the Dark Curse has consequences and they aren’t even sure if it’s going to work. Either way, Ava will have to live with the choices she make.
Ava’s life was never easy, but she always find a way to stand up again and I admire that about her. She is a strong independent character.
If there is one that I learned from the Darkhaven Saga: Family doesn’t have to be blood related.
We need more of Darkhaven and definitely more of Ava.
You will not be disappointed by the fifth installment to the Darkhaven Saga. A MUST READ for Young Adult, Paranormal Romance and Urban Fantasy lovers.

Amazing ending!!!! This book started out slowly. I didn't care for the way Ava was acting. I was happy when she was back to her normal self and ready for anything. I understand the beginning and the necessity in it, however it was great to have her back. I am saddened but the outcome of other people but wow it created the drama needed.

Oh my god! I do not know how the heck she keeps doing this to me! Every time I turn around shes taking me on an other roller coaster of emotions with this series. Every time I think it can't get better or that she can not possible put anymore twists and turns into goodness gracious does she! All I can say is please do your self a favor and read this series from start to finish. I'm sitting on the edge of my sit right now going what the heck will happen in the next book especially because I thought this was the last one just to find out there is in did one more coming!!!

It's getting too repetitive. I still like the characters, but the surprise rogue attack and surprise witch attack in every book is getting old.

Ava is back but weak from the curse she casts on the coven of witches. The darkness is trying to spread within her and the coven of witches. Can Ava's friends, that are her new family, save her in time? What a fantastic book, it has so many twists and turns and is so well written. Lies and betrayal change everyones lives but what will the outcome be? Danielle Rose has out done herself again. What a thrilling story but will the darkness destroy Darkhaven?

Amazing volume of Darkhaven! Ava Lopez is back and trying to get a grip on the extent of what her spell did to her. When her friend and fellow hybrid Will shows up the Vampires and Holland need to convince her to accept Will and Hollands help. There are twists and turns abound in this book. You won't be able to put it down. Best installment yet!

Ava is living with a dark curse put on her by the witches, the vampires are trying to help her find a way to break it. Will they be able to help her in time? The evil inside her is taking over and she doesn’t remember some things and fears she is going mad. I couldn’t put it down!! Danielle has done a great job with this series and I can’t wait to read the next one.. I received an advance copy for my honest review..

I can’t seem to get enough of this series, Danielle Rose has out done herself again on this 5th book of The Darkhaven Saga it is as amazing as the rest of the series! The emotions in this book and the characters just suck you in, I couldn’t put this book down. Here I thought this was the last book and then I find out there is another and I can’t wait for it! I absolutely love this series and would highly recommend reading it!!

Dear Danielle Rose,
How could you do this to me? That first scene gave me heart palpitations! I know you are really good at writing the drama but I about died with it. So if you could cut it back, that’d be great. K? Thanks.
Now, the book as a whole? You managed , yet again to deliver. I’m not quite sure how your family manages to live with the mad genius mind of yours but you keep me in awe.
I enjoyed Ava’s struggle with making a decision (even though I already knew the one she would make.). Will coming back? Perfect way to help guide her. Jasik and the rest of the coven? I thought that them backing off this time was a great way to make Ava grow up and mature.
This series just keeps getting better and better and I can’t wait for the next installment. Oh, and by the way, has your publisher extended the contract for the series? Six is not enough. (Yes, I know it was originally slated for five but they only added one more?)
Keep them coming please ma’am.

Wow! Danielle Rose never disappoints and this book proves it!! Ava has been a fighter from the first page of the first book in the series and is still a fighter until the end of the series! I am so glad that I read this series and I anxiously waited for each book to come out! Ava is a strong girl who had to learn the hard way that family is not always blood and she will do anything to protect the ones she loves! This was an amazing series filled with great characters who all came into themselves the more you read and you couldn't help falling in love with each of them!! I highly recommend it and am so glad I found Danielle Rose on a rainy Sunday, she has become one of my favorite Authors and I look forward to reading so much more by her!! 💖

Welcome back to Darkhaven with the fifth book in the series and I just cannot get enough! It is not a standalone and the prior books must be read in order. After the dark spell was cast, Ava is not the same and things around her are changing. She is getting weaker and weaker while trying to pretend that everything is fine. Regardless, the vampires are there for her and will do anything in their power to protect her. The question is, how will it all play out? Overall, this is one suspenseful read with twists and turns that will get the heart pumping and you will not be able to put it down. If you are a connoisseur of paranormal and young adult reads, then this is one to ensure is on your tbr list. I highly recommend this series. I volunteered to read a copy of this book.

Danielle Rose did it again! I was sucked in right at the first chapter and I couldn’t put the book down. I felt like I was right there with Ava and going through all of the emotions she was having. I did get a bit frustrated at first with how Ava was handling her emotions and keeping everything to herself. BUT.. Danielle does a fantastic job keeping her readers entranced with all the twists and turns within her books and keeps you wanting more!
I have thoroughly enjoyed The Darkhaven Series and very excited to find out that the series is continuing for another 5 books!!

OMG!!!! I absolutely LOVE Ava's story & am thrilled to see it is not over yet. The way she has pushed through all the betrayal from her coven and own mother & grandmother is amazing. She has remained strong & kind through everything. I can not wait to see that it next for her and Jasik. I'm really glad she is a vampire/witch hybrid again. That is how she should stay. This is another fun, easy, fast-paced read and I have enjoyed every minute of it.

Yup, it happened again. You were placed on a ride that you thought would never end only for it to end and you’re looking around like what the hell just happened?? Dark Curse takes you to the deep, dark spaces of Ava’s mind and while it is hard to read because you are used to the strong willed Ava it is intriguing to see a completely different side of her. This book was nicely wrapped up in a blood red ribbon that you will always remember.

Gah these books seem to get shorter and shorter!!! I absolutely love this series. I don't like the sacrifices made is this book at all. A major key player was lost!!! But I can't wait to read the next one. Ava is an amazingly strong young lady and I love her spunk. Her willingness to never give up astounds me. I can't wait for Shadow!!!

A very enjoyable read. The adventure continues in this book. War is happening even though Ava wants peace between her witch coven and the vampires she calls family now. That is all I can say. If you want to know how it ends you will need to read it for yourself. Now to wait for the next book to come out in January!

As her, Will & Holland try to find a cure for the evil magic, time is quickly running out for Ava and her friends to survive to damage the curse is doing to them. I seriously can't get enough of this series! Danielle has done another amazing job with the latest installment of The Darkhaven Saga. There is a ton of emotion in this book and the characters will suck you into their lives. I can't wait for the next book!

I read this book in one sitting. Danielle does such an amazing job writing these books.

I was hooked on this series from the beginning and they just keep getting better. Dark Curse continues Ava’s journey and we pick up after she curses herself in the last book....let’s give it to the vampires for helping to break the curse. Can I have the next book like yesterday?!??

I have really enjoyed this series!!!!! I love how Danielle takes a hole new approach to witches and vampires. I also always love a strong confident female lead especially in YA books.!!!!!! Way to go on this amazing series!

WOW this one took me a little longer to read as there was alot going on. Ava is truly a fighter and with Jasik they are an unbeatable team. The whole vampire nest is and always will be more of a family to Ava than her coven ever was. Loss , pain and rebuilding. Can't wait for the next chapter.

I absolutely loved it! Everything about it was amazing. It did make me cry but I seriously can not wait for the next one. Ava is so strong and broken. I feel as if I can totally relate to her.
