I found this while shelving at work and decided to give it a try. While there are some activities I was already doing, it did help point me in the direction of others I should try. I'm still reading and more than likely, I'll gift this to a friend who would benefit. Or I'll gift them their own copy.

Dropped this because I'm not an empath, and it came off too woo-woo (even for me lol).

This book was given to me by a good friend at the perfect time. I was transitioning into a new career and this was a helpful read to validate some of the things I was feeling, good reminders of how to be aware of my own energy/others, and good things to put into practice to keep myself grounded. I love the variety of different activities and it would be an easy book to pick up at anytime and flip to a random page. I wish there was a little more detail in the beginning about understanding what it means to be an empath but overall I would highly recommend, especially if you’re in a big transition period.

Emotions, protective behaviors, triggers, boundaries, and so much of what I do to keep balance in my life were discussed in this book. It was extremely validating. Routines are good. Sensitive is good. Boundaries are good. The book gives names to a lot of things I do as an empath that I had never labeled before but immediately recognized. It was an incredibly satisfying read that I need to revisit again.

It was ok. Content resonated & had some insight. Cant say I buy into everything in here. Some of the content was a little too crunchy even for me. 😅 But it was a wide range of advice for people to pull from. Some good reminders too. If you’re newer to your self-discovery journey or you feel like you’re an empath or sometimes overly empathetic, this would probably be a good one for you. Not a keeper for me but glad I read it. 3/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️

The first half of the book was really useful to me. The second half was mostly things I already know. Great for beginners. Especially great for people like me who just plain care too much.

As an empath, this book feels like a hug! If you struggle with detaching & not taking everything so personal because you have a big heart, this book is for you.
